Hey, I've searched every thread regarding the Tanix TX3 Mini device/S905W soc, and can't seem to find anything related to this. If i missed something, then please forgive me. I'm simply looking if there's an available ATV rom that will work on the Tanix TX3 Mini. If you happen to know anything, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

So what's the problem? One search turns up a ton of threads to me.
Your mistake seems to be fairly common. Don't get hung up on the brand of your box and focus instead on your OEM chipset. The Tanix TX3 uses a reference design for the AMLogic S905W chip. So search for the chipset "S905W".
You'll soon learn the other model names and brands have for the exact same box; MXQ Pro, X96 Mini, AND the Tanix TX3 Mini are all based on the Amlogic S905W chipset.

How to copy my Mxq pro 4K s905 p201 set up and install to my other boxes
Between my two residences I have 8 total Mxq pro boxes. They're all Sunvell Mxq pro s905 p201, I need to copy my "master box" and then upload it to my others including my kodi setup.
How can I do this? I have read so much junk here and there and I can't find this information anywhere.
I've saw this question asked here t=2259645 on the forum but it wasn't answered in any fashion except for flashing a stock rom.
Can someone PLEASE help me?
Bump
Hi everyone!
Do you have any idea if there is a custom rom for this android TV box.
I am facing several issues with the built-in and wondering if I can change it.
Thank you!
Wondering about the same question. No answers?

No compatibility issues when flashing an S805-based rom on a S905X-device??
Hi Ferocious,
I'm also interested in a Custom ROM for the M9C Pro.
You posted links to S805-based ROMs.
I may be a noob, but I wonder, how you think, that a S805-based ROM would fit on a S905X-device like the M9C Pro.
Maybe I don't know something that you know, this is why I ask you to explain it to me.
I'm sorry, if I got anything wrong and I would also be happy, because that would mean, that I learned something new and that I would be able to give this ROM you suggested a try.
Greetings,
Jem14

M9c pro 4k s905x
Hey guys
I have a m9c pro 4k box it came with android 6. Great box now I'm having problems. It is showing the mbox boot screen. I have an apk that I setup to load on boot and play the last program it was left on but I can't see anything because the mbox screen is there. The fact is I had set up my sdcard in it to as internal memory completely forgot took the card out to lend a friend he formatted it and now that is what is happening to my box when I reboot it. I need help.. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction. Problem with this box is that it has a reset button but it only works to load firmware from an SD card. I am trying to do the firmware update myself as I have done so with other Android systems. Can't find m9c pro firmware anywhere. I understand though that I should be able to load any s905x firmware. Help needed. Thanks.

Any luck? I have an S905 and I'd like to get to systemless root with Magisk. ( but my box came pre-rooted)
I just bought an M96X like we can find many with 2GB RAM and 8GB ROM, based on the AMLogic S905x.
My question here is, what recovery and rom are available for this box? Searching on XDA or other search engines only brought me to https://forum.xda-developers.com/android-stick--console-computers/amlogic/recovery-twrp-3-0-2-0-touch-recovery-t3454549/post69826769#post69826769 which states that it doesn't work.
Also am I right in my understanding that all M96X boxes like this one, this one and maybe even this one which is not advertised as an M96X are really the exact same hardware? If so, will there be any difference in software?
Any help appreciated!
Bump. Searching for the same information and firmware upgrade. It seems there are very few boxed branded "M96x"
s905 ( non X) ?

Would be interesting with and android tv rom
Hello everyone,
I take avantage of this thread to also ask if the M96x (like this one on ali expresss M96X-Android-6-0-Smart-TV-Box-2G-8G-Amlogic-S905X-Quad-Core-Kodi-16-1 )
can also support an android tv rom?
I think the hardware could support it (at least performance wise)
Is anyone interested in it and have an idea how to do it?
Thanks in advance

Hello teslanta, did you please succeed installing this rom even for 2G/8G version? As i am in same situation - having just 2G/8G version and above mentioned link to 1G/8G rom..
many thanks for your reply here
Hello,
just got this box and i'm really impressed.
Just wondering if it's possible to install android 10 on this box. If not what other customs roms people that have this box use?
Thanks in advance!
I have the same question.
Official support told me that "Amlogic S905x2 is not compatible with newer Android", which is a technical bull**** wrong answer.
If someone here has info, please let us know !
I have few questions regarding Allwinner H616 OR H313 boards?
1) Does anyone have rooted firmware for Allwinner H616/4/32/Android 10 or H313/2/16/Android 10 ? If yes, plz share it.
2) Does Allwinner support rotation? If you have this support in firmware, plz let me know.
3) I could not find any setting in X96Q or X96 Mate to change device resolution to 720P (not even in display setting,AUTO also does not work for me).
4) Is there any way to change boot logo and boot video in these devices?
this was posted a little while back in the T95 thread (allwinner h616)
T95 Allwinner H616 TV Box
Just thought I would post regarding this box. Not much information on it. I bought on a whim without realising the one thing I wanted was missing (Bluetooth). However the box has grown on me. Its powered by the new Allwinner H616 Chip. However...

the person who posted it is a decent guy, I'd talk to him to confirm the partition sizes and suitability.
Did you manage to get anything for H313?
