[Q] All calendar widgets still shows deleted recurring appointment

Hi All,
I'm having a problem with any calendar widgets except of the built-in touchwiz calendar widget.
The problem is, i've deleted some all day recurring appointments, all instances of them, not only one instance.
I installed the smooth calendar widget, pure calendar widget, small calendar widget, android calendar widget, etc and all still shows the deleted recurring appointment.
I don't use any task killers and I've tried rebooting, uninstall and install the widgets again, removed and added back to home screen all to no avail.
The calendar I'm using is the stock (local calendar), I'm not using the google calendar..
I've used the refresh options in the widgets, i've tried to go to Accounts and Sync and Ticekd the Background Data, Auto-sync and press sync all...
This only happens to all day recurring appointments and not regular appointments
Appreciate your assistances..
hi, any advice?

(Re)create the local calendar

I just bought a new phone for my daughter (a Huawei Ascend P7).
When personalizing her phone she put all events in the local calendar instead of the Gmail calendar.
I was looking for a way to transfer events from the local calendar to the Gmail calendar.
I first tried to find how to do it on my own phone (Sony Xperia Z3 compact)
The best I could find was iCal, with this app I can export the local calendar and then import that data into the gmail calendar, so far so good.
But now I can see duplicates for all events, once from the local calendar and once from the gmail calendar.
So I want to get rid of those duplicates. I could not find a way to delete all events from a specific calendar.
The only option I could see was to delete the local calendar in iCal.
Now duplicate calendar events are gone but I want to keep an empty local calendar.
iCall can create an agenda but only when it is linked to an email account so no local calendar.
My questions are
- is there a way of accomplishing this without deleting the local calendar?
- is there a way of (re)creating the local calendar? my Z3 Compact is rooted but the Huawei isn't

Android Exchange Account Sync does not sync events from all Outlook.com Calendars

Running an LG G4 on Android 5.1. You can sync your Outlook.com Email, Contacts, and Calendars by create a new Account in Settings with Type 'Exchange' it will usually auto-detect and do all the setup for you just by entering your Outlook.com login info (your Microsoft account.)
I've found something very strange though. If you go into the stock Calendar app, it does not list any calendars other than the primary account calendar for your Outlook.com account. However, if you use any other calendar app including the "Google Calendar" app, aCalendar, Pure Calendar widget, you name it, you these apps DO list all your calendars that you have on Outlook.com, HOWEVER, it appears Android's Exchange sync does not download events from any other calendar other the primary calendar associated with the Outlook.com account.
This makes no sense as why list the calendars if you aren't going to show the events?
Of course Microsoft recommends downloading the Microsoft Outlook app which does show events from all the calendars BUT, that app only provides the ability to sync your Outlook.com contacts with the phone, making them accessible to any apps that need to read your contacts. It does not (like the old Outlook.com app did) sync email or calendar events so you can see them in any other apps.
So what I'm curious about is the issue with the Exchange Account Sync in Android not syncing events from additional Outlook.com calendars a bug in the Operating System, or an intentional limitation or unintential bug in Outlook.com's Exchange Server emulation?
Because I need to see events from all my calendars elsewhere in my system such as on calendar widgets (Pure Calendar Widget) my workaround it to use the Gsyncit plugin for Microsoft Outlook Office Desktop client which does bidirectional syncing between Outlook.com and Gmail so it allows you to maintain contacts and email in both Outlook.com and Gmail accounts and of course all the calendars sync properly when using Gmail (Google) as the calendar source. The big drawback of this though is that if your PC isn't on, any updates to your Outlook calendar will not get synced to your Gmail calendar/contacts. Of course the better solution would be to make Gmail/Google your primary place for managing your contacts and calendars however I share a lot of my calendars and I've found your average user finds the Outlook.com interface more user-friendly (and cleaner) than the Gmail interface and more importantly the Outlook.com account will sync more seamlessly with Windows which is what the majority of people use for their desktop operating system.
I'd love to find out if Microsoft (Outlook.com) or Google (Android) is responsible for the lack of full Outlook.com to Android Calendar sync support and if it's intentional or a bug?

Way to transfer outlook.com calendar to Google Calendar

Hi all
Are there a way to transfer outlook.com calendar entries to Google Calendar?
Detailed guide please
Are there any calendar programs other than Google's that can import or sync outlook.com calendar entries. And can show entries in grid view.
Reason: my friend just switched from his Nokia Lumia to a new Huawei Honor x5, and needs to get all his calendar entries over to the Huawei. We tried to install the outlook.com App and it works, but cannot show the calendar in grid view like my friend like and are used to.
Preferebly free App's, but paid can also do it if not too expensive.
with kind regards
JBJ
theres an IFTTT recipe for that

Calendar app with Categories?

I'm looking for a calendar app that lets me use Outlook (Win) Categories.
I have an IMAP account that syncs to my desktop Outlook with CalDav Synchronizer, and to my Droids with DavDroid.
For Contacts, the 'DW Contacts' app works fine and proves that syncing Categories with OL works.
For Calendars, I have not yet found a working solution.
Any suggestions?
