Fixed. You have to insert the battery faster/at less of an angle. lol.
I randomly saw my phone rebooting but once I saw it at the Galaxy S4 logo at boot it turned the whole screen to white. It was plugged into my charger when it rebooted. So I took it apart and that white thing, pointed in the picture, was heating up very fast. I felt the heat dissipating off of it.
Its been a month. Everything was working fine. But I switched off and not its not turning on. There is a think line appearing and screen glows for sometime but nothing shows up. It goes dead again.
Did you try cleaning bot the metallic contacts on the watch and charging cradle and leaving it charging for a while?

Nothing on screen?
Ok so, I had the "bright" (stupid) idea to get an unused Z5 Compact online to replace mine which I have dropped about 24 times.
Unfortunately not long after I got the newer one, I dropped it and the screen cracked. Looooong story short, the screen is okay now, but whether it was in the fall or in the stupid shop, it doesn't charge properly.
However, rather than just getting a red blinking light, what I see is: red solid light, then the "Sony XPERIA" screen with white background will appear, but the power light will turn off, and then it will revert to the battery charge screen where the battery is at 0%.
I am nooooot technical so if the probably solution is replacing the charge port I feel like maybe I should just get another phone. Is that the right step now or am I jumping the gun?
Tonight I left the phone charging when it was at 10% and woke up to it stuck on the start up screen (HUAWEI with 'powered by android' in the bottom with the black background).
If I try to shut it down with the power button it goes black for a few seconds and then restarts again by itself, but gets stuck again in the Huawei logo screen.
I noticed the phone charger wasn't working too well before this happened (it kept stopping to charge if I moved the wire a bit) so it might be related.
Anyway I tried charging the phone with a different charger for 3 hours, but nothing happened, also the LED which shows how charged the phone is doesn't work but I still think it charged because it was getting warm.
Then I tried to go in 'Recovery mode' with Power+Volume up while charging, and 2 rectangles, one magenta on top and one blue on the bottom, with a green background appeared (like this but the red square was hot pink). Nothing happens while in this screen, so I shut the phone down and it restarted, going back to the Huawei logo.
Right now I'm waiting for the battery to exhaust and see if that does anything.
Anything I can do? It's okay if I have to do a Factory reset and lose my data, even if that sucks, but right now I can't afford to buy a new phone :/
