Amazfit Stratos bluetooth connection to heart belt (Berry King) - Amazfit

Hi all!
I have a Berry King heartbelt.
Works great with other APPs like Endomondo etc.
But not with the Amazfit app and it also does not connect to the Amazfit Stratos via BT.
Any hints/ideas/suggestions?

I created nearly the same thread with the same topic a few weeks ago [emoji6] got also a heart rate sensor from Berry King and it wouldn't work for me after my first attempts [emoji16]
Solution:
Turn Off phone bluetooth
Pair heart rate Sensor with watch
Turn on phone bluetooth again

Thanks for that.
But I have already tried the same.
I thought that the BT con to the phone needs to be stopped.
So I did that.
But still no pairing between Stratos and heart belt.
Which firmware do you use?

US 2.3.2.7 official
Did you tried a reboot of the watch after you turned of phone bluetooth?

Hi!
Have you really got it working?
I have send an email to Huami support and they said it is not possible to pair the heart belt to the watch.

Yes, it is working fine.
When i start an activity and take a look in settings and bluetooth devices the heart rate sensor is shown as connected.
Also the heart rate is displayed correct. With the watch only it is always to low while doing an activity. I compared it with my Sigma Rox 10 bicycle computer.
Do you got version 1 or 2 of the heart rate sensor (old or new)? I own the old one (v 1).

Oh, that could be a reason.
I need to check.
Do you know how I can check this?

The new one is simply called "Heartbeat 2" " [emoji6]

My Berry King Heart belt is called Heartbeat 2017.
At least that is what I can read under Model.
On the produc it reads "Berry King Heartrate Sensor"

I think your model is the "Heart Beat 2" which was released 2017, but i am not sure.
I bought mine recently, it costs round about 30 €, Heartbeat 2 is round about 50€.

Same here
I have checked my purchase order and it was also below 30€.
So I have also the first version.
So this could not be the reason why it works for you but not for me...

But still no success.
Frustration level is rising....

Don't know why
How do you try to connect?
I choose an activity and then i connect the hr sensor withing the settings options ( activity -> settings -> accessoires ). From the watch menu i couldn't connect to my hr sensor, only to my bt headset.

Yes!!!!!!!!
Finally...That is exactly the solution.
I have tried to connect via the "normal" Settings => Connections => Bluetooth.
This never worked for me.
But via your instruction, it finally worked.
Big thank you!!!!

I have a completely different BT heart belt, and it's working great... but I wanted to ask... did you notice that even when connected to an external BT heart belt device, the heart sensor leds on the Stratos are always on the whole time (during sports activity)? Mine are, and it seems like a waste of battery...

Yes, i noticed that too. I try to turn off the watch hr sensor before i use my hr belt. Battery life is better. But i forget about it from time to time
Also turning off automatic upload saves much battery (stats are synced only when you open the amazfit app).
Maybe they include something in the sports app in the future, like when an external hr sensor is connected and an activity ist started, internal hr sensor is turned off by automatic. I think this is possible.
I think it ist possible

[Help] Touchscreen lags when charging

Hey there,
I've had this Galaxy S2 for 1 and an half year, and I've this problem since I bought it.
When I put my phone on charging, the touchscreen to lag and to become less responsive. I use an original charger, and I'm pretty sure it's a phone problem because with my previous Galaxy S2 the touchscreen worked fine.
Can anyone help me?
Inviato dal mio GT-I9100 utilizzando Tapatalk
The easiest way to track these kind of issues is by looking at an actively generated log to see what happens when you plug the charger.

I've had this issue with one charger. Charge the phone from your PC, if the screen acts normally - you have to replace the charger.
Well, I tried another charger (not original) and the touchscreen works better, but still not as on discharging.

amazfit heart rate problems

Hi there,
it's about a month I have this smart watch .
everything is ok about heart rate measures.
if I am in continuous mode ( i.e run, cycle....) and running on treadmill or cycling indoor, the measures have no sense ( it seems 84 is the preferred one also if I am near to die...).
If I check the heart beat in normal mode ( I mean doing nothing and as a "single shot"), it seems to be ok.
any suggestions ? it seems it suffers electromagnetic fields, it's a theory.
any other has the the same problem ?
bye and thanks
p.s
rom is 1.3.3a

Phone Battery drains even when completely off

Hello. I have replacemented my phone's screen. Because the original screen cracked and phone got become too hot as if it'd be exploited. But after replacement the screen the battery drains even the phone is completely off.. The draining is like %30-40.. Do you have any advice for this?
I've bought a new battery but the phone service doesn't change it.. They say there is risk the screen may be cracked while pulling it off... :/

this is true. i broke mine by pulling it off, even though i used a heatgun. next time this wont happen again.
what kind of phone service company can't pull a display safely?
i would expect that a professionel service-technician has no problem pulling a screen off without breaking it.

Well they simply said there is risk. Because in Turkey there isn't this model officially and if it cracks it's hard to bring a new screen from China..
the screen is cheap and availabe on aliexpress. can be long delivery times from china of course. ordered mine 2 weeks ago for about 20€. I'm sceptical about the quality, will report when it arrived.

Issues with volume in stereo mode

Greetings! I own a Mate 10 Pro BLA-L29 8.0.0.127 (C432). I am really happy with this device. But there seems to be a problem with my volume in stereo mode. On higher levels it sounds really nice and thick, but when I turn it down it gets noticeably flat at some point. I figured out, that from silent to noticeable "thicker" sound, it needs 5 clicks on the volume up button.
I wonder if this is normal or a bug.
Can anyone confirm this behavior?

Can confirm this on two Mate 10 Pro BLA_L09 127 (C432) and BLA_L29 127 (C432)
Edit: Will do a wipe the next days and show, if the problems (including not working apps) go away and sent an answer.

But you got 2 Mates with the same issues... so it could be a bug - or normal

Exactly this is happening, even on full volume...
Ist genauso wie du sagst, auch bei voller Lautstärke, ist mir aber erst jetzt beim testen aufgefallen
At high volume I can understand that they lower the bass to protect the speaker.
But at low level it makes no sense and is just stupid. I hope they change it with the next firmware.

Yeah, it boosts up but cancels the depths.
I got the same issue, but i think it's made on purpose even though I'm not sure if the phone did it also with the older firmware. Anyway the point is that when you turn your device in landscape mode the other stereo speaker on the left (the one you use to listen to the phone calls) should turn on, but i think that with this bug it simply didn't unless you set your volume over a certain threshold which corresponds to about 5 volume steps.
This is what gives you the idea of a ****ty sound, basically under volume up to 5 the phone is using only one speaker.

I have another question. I understand that we have 2 speakers, one at the top and another at the bottom. Are they supposed to produce the same level of sound?the bottom speaker is loud but the one at the top seems to have a very low output in comparison (checked this by covering the bottom speaker with my finger.). Is this normal or is my top speaker broke. BTW i have a mate 10 pro. I only noticed it because i saw the landscape stereo option and decided to check.

The top speaker is not a proper speaker. It's the ear piece. It will never produce the same volume and quality of sound as the bottom speaker. It is not broken. It is normal.

Yes exactly. Furthermore you've to take into account that the bottom ones is lateral and the top one points directly towards you so you have to compensate with different volume levels in order to have the same perception. that's why i also suppose the top one is shout down under a certain threshold, i guess it can't manage too lows volume levels, you simply wouldn't ear it, since you've to be also lower than the audio fired from the bottom speaker.

Wenn ihr den Bildschirm ausschaltet beim Musik hören dreht sich die App automatisch wieder auf hochkant und somit is dann auch der gute Sound weg
I am experiencing the same, think this is on purpose though. Probably can only enter the detailed sound mode when there is enough power. Whatever i dont listen music on this anyway... for occasional Youtube/netflix its good enough.

Install a volume booster which lets you increase the overall volume. Just be careful not to go overboard as you can destroy your speakers.

What volume? The earpiece volume is a tad low, but the phone speakers are about as loud as they come. Pixel 3 10/10, Note 9 9.5/10, Mate 20 Pro 9/10.

the general sound In my opinion it is low especially in the Bluetooth output. in the other models when you turn up the volume at most you can visualize the warning that can damage your health but allows you to raise further. on the mate 20 pro there is no such possibility
I find those apps useless . The best and only way is to change the build prop. Let's hope for root one-day

@paolosnz Keep in mind that unlike other phones, the Mate 20 pro has separate controls for BT : one on device and the phone one. They are not synced as they are on my old Samsung or iPad. Maybe that is also part of the problem...but even with both controls at maximum I don't get the same level as on other phones. Loud enough for normal listening, but not deafening.
Im coming from P20 pro to Note 9 and now on Mate 20 Pro and i think that Mate 20 Pro has the worse quality sound and lower sound from my latest phones...
Another issue that hasn't been mention is the sound of notifications that for several apps like Facebook messanger, Viber the notification sound pays much more lower from what it really is...For an example if i set a generic notification sound and select that sound for Facebook & Facebook messanger then it plays for Facebook at level 10 & for Facebook messanger at level 4 the same ringtone (mp3)
Has anyone experienced the same situation?
Yeah mate 20 pro has really low sound. I have my pixel 2 xl here and I tried to play the same youtube video on both at the same time, and with the mate 20p on full volume I have to go down to maybe 60% volume on the pixel 2 xl to match it.
The volume in the earpiece is way to low...I have trouble understanding people when I make phone calls in noisy environments. In fact its is so bad that it makes this phone unusable while at work - I work at the airport on the ramp. Looking for a solution...

My wife's mate 20 pro have similar low volume issue with her bluetooth headset and I did this to resolve the issue.
You are going to need to change the Bluethooth audio codec in the "developer options"
I can't link because I am a new user but if you search for it on the internet you should be able to find information on how to do that
I believe you'll need your bluetooth headset connected before you can make any changes otherwise the option to change will be greyed out.
Basically I changed the Bluetooth Audio codec from ACC (which seems to be the default) to SBC. After this, the max volume dramatically improved.
For some reason, options like
Bluetooth Audio Sample Range, Bluetooth Audio Bits Per sample, Bluetooth Audio Channel Mode, Bluetooth Audio LDAC Codec are greyed out even when the bluetooth headset is connected while I checked on another android phone that these are options you can actually play with.
I wanted to change these to see if it'll actually improve bluetooth audio. Either way, I'm happy that changing this works. Let me know if it help for you guys as well?

The overall volume of the phone is surprisingly weak, all the more so when you have it plugged in...
You guys that are dismantling ****, I don't need to tell you that you are likely killing the submersible ability of the phone - right?
