Is there a mod/app that can control the notification light such that the light changes colors based on currently playing audio? Example: Like an equilizer animation in wich the lows are light colors and highs are dark colors.

when watching videos and playing 3d games, the black color is pixelated, grainy and a bit off.
newly flashed cm7.1 rom, glitch v12 kernel
does it related to any gpu acceleration issue?
tweaking in voodoo color doesn't help
anyone knows what's the cause for the problem?
thanks
same prob...
Similiar problem, I think I have it narrowed down to set cpu. My phone just wont overclock w/out display bleedover.
finally by tweaking rgb multiplier to very low level and gamma hack to around -50in voodoo color, the black color seems to be a bit more natural. but still can't get rid of the nasty green overlay

i find that my auto-brightness dims too low and want to adjust it. so, has anyone ticker with these settings? care to share?
Please look at the picture http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/3360/img4165kv.jpg.
It shows my desktop wallpaper on SGS1 on the left and SGS2 on the right. The top left part of the wallpaper looks fine on SGS1 but it turns ugly dark green on SGS2. Please notice that the other colors (pink, light green etc) look very similar on both devices. I set the brightness on both devices on equal level. My SGS2's screen displays like this only dark colours, bright colours are fine. Similar thing happens in AOSP/CM9/10 settings panel to dark grey gradients - it turns kinda dark green and ugly.
Here's another example: http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/4066/img4166a.jpg. AnTuTu background on the SGS1 (left) doesn't look so dark.
Am I the only one experiencing the issue? Do your devices display equally bad dark colours as mine? Could you post photos of your CM9/10 settings panel or AnTuTu's main screen?
Do you use adaptive display. Standard. Movie. Dynamic. Etc. What and why?
Also do you use auto adjust screen tone?
I disable the auto adjust screen tone and in check adaptive display and put it on standard.

I use Pro Photo.
I think the auto adjust is there to help with battery as OLED displays are less efficient with whites and bright colors and high brightness levels. Pictures and videos need less brightness to look good as opposed to text on solid background. Auto adjust takes all these factors into effect and balances brightness levels and screen tones to decrees battery use. (I may be wrong on how auto adjust works though)
Movie gives the most accurate colors. (if the S4 is like the note 2, disabling auto adjust as well, provides the most accurate colors overall)
Pro Photo is almost a perfect match to Adobe RGB.
Here is an article about the S4 display and the different modes.
Movie may be more accurate but I found the colors to be rather bland and washed out (compared to an iPhone 4S and HTC Rezound). I use Professional photo because it has the same white point (same whites) as Movie but with poppier colors. It really brings out the best of both worlds on this phone imo. And no auto adjust, but I do use auto brightness.
Hi ,
I have noticed a problem in blue light filter in apps available in market.
They ask for permission for drawing over apps. And the effect they produce is not similar to reducing blue color but putting a yellow/brownish layer, which makes black look brownish. When compared to the bluelight filter option given in the ROM itself , there is noticeable difference. The color doesnot look washed out. Black is still black. And the sharpness is maintained. Only thing is it lowers blue light emission from screen.
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Marshmallow and it doesnot have inbuilt bluelight filter. I want to stay with same ROM but am ready to root device if some application can actually modify contrast. I have heard that screen resolution can be modified with adb so i am ready to experiment color correction through that as well.
Hoping for a early reply,
Thanks
