In Japan the Samsung Galaxy S III has an upgraded model called Alpha under the service provider Docomo. I was interested in knowing whether anybody had attempted to root the new device. I tried to post a link but I was blocked.

Hi folks, I'm planning to debrand my Chinese version UL00 to european L01 using Multitools, my concern is that will I lose TD-LTE band 38/39/40/41 since the above bands are not configured in any european models? Did anyone tried this before?
Cheers!

In theory, it won't work the way you want it to.

Hi,
Quick question:
Getting a S9 Plus either way but:
I'd like to get the Unlocked version with the Exynos 9810 chip.
Will I have any issues with bands etc. on T Mobile????
What exactly won't work with US carriers??
Also model numbers if you have them.
Thanks for any insight,
Ken
Also looking for this information.

As I saw on other threads there will be no issues for the Unlocked to work with T-Mobile.

I'm pretty sure it's Korean (Asia?) variant.
Sorry, going to hijack the thread but I think it is relevant.
I have a sm-t865 but don't use the lte anymore as have more than enough data on my phone and link that way.
So, can I use odin to install the sm-t860 rom on the tablet so won't have any of the phone and messaging stuff?
Just curious!

T860 still has all the phone and messaging stuff - You just can't use any of it without connecting a phone.

Does the UK version support LTE bands 2, 4 and 28? Is that the one with LTE+(4.5G) enabled?
Thanks

No idea sorry, but I'm in the UK so I thought it was my best chance of getting this thing to do better because at the moment it's terrible.
