This new year bought an end to CyanogenMod era before getting an offical version for mi pad but the good news is we have Lineage OS born from the ashes of CM. Hope this OS brings a life to this beast(mi pad).
Hey guys make this forum more active like NVIDIA sheild. Hope this new year may bring more development on the Mipad because compare to last year now we have atleast kernels sources.:laugh:
Old commitless kernel sources won't fix proprietary vendor blobs problems sadly.
Highwaystar is putting a lot of effort into porting CyanogenMod 12.1 right now and its not fully functional. Porting anything newer will only get harder, plus this device isn't very popular like the shield due to its fairly poor out of box experience & availability worldwide.
Hi all,
did Highwaystar had some success with the porting?
I think the MiPad has still some fans, yet a bit disappointed that there was no effort by Xiaomi for some reason.
A stable build would be very nice!
Thanks for the hard work!
yes, we would expect to see more support from xiaomi to support mocha(MI PAD 1). atleast it should have released lolipop. otherside the same configuration NVIDIA tablet got naughat update. It is not fair game xiaomi we need updates and support for mocha.
Good news guys, yesterday highwaystar has ported cm13 to lineageOs. And i expect everyone to congratulate him for that. we did not had a good rom since decades. and now he is our hope, support him.
Yep now there's Lineage OS for mi pad
hello devs, could we have DotOS running on our OPX?
it's very smooth and stable ROM
I've been running this ROM on my Nexus 5, my wife's K5plus and my daughter's Zenfone max
it's beautiful ROM with high performance as priority... v1.2 nougat nor v2.1 Oreo
i hope i get this one running on my OPX also... any devs who willing to do it? :fingers-crossed:
I'm ready for being a guinea pig if you want to

or you may call "Labs frog, Labs mice"
Ohhh ok
Lab mouse.. that´s funny
Yes.. dotOS seems promising. Some devs should start work on it.
Please do you have some news about dotos under one plus x ? It will really cool to get dotos for our device...thanks in advance
Devs of DOT OS for onyx are probably dead:angel:
I think new Havoc rom is even better than Dot os...
But havoc ROM isn't available for Onyx, for now may be.
Is there any oxygen os port for poco.
That would be nice.
Like OnePlus software highly optimised,
So we can expect lot of gains..
I am currently running pixel expierence rom but I saw Lineage Os is official released . But I also heard about xiaomi.eu all sound pretty good. What's your favourite and can you write some things why you use this rom ?
I learned to love the app gestures with the one bar.
On my Nexus 6 custom roms I loved the long press for torch feature.
Although every customisation feature is welcome
Thx
sounds like the story of most of us here
I tried eu miui 10 pie, miui pro 9.1.24, and oxygen os port 9.04.......if they fixed 3.5 mm audio output and Fm radio in the oxygen os port it will be the best but so far miuipro is best for me overall!
try crDroid
Hmmm. Ive heard that the best one today is OOS ..oxygen os. Ive read most of the oos users claim that its a very smooth gaming rom.. and im planning to try that one of these days..
Btw.. i dont give much time on any roms aesthetically. As long as its smooth in gaming.. it definitely suits my taste..
Why does Realme 3 pro have such poor custom OS development? It's a great phone. It has a Snapdragon SoC. Yet, I don't get why there are very fewer ROMs. The existing ones are also very poor truth be told. This device deserves more love from the community.
Are you even looking bro? Latest Los, crdriod, aex and pe, they all run pretty good. I am on crdroid 5.11 and insigniux x1 kernel since almost a week now. I haven't faced any problems yet.
The simple answer is, this device is not popular or in many cases doesn't even exist at places where the developer community mostly resides.
