I am using Lg v30+ and while charging when the charging will cross 90% then the screen will wake up with the pop up sound and after every 10-15 sec this process will repeat till my phone will completely charge. Can anyone tell me the reason why?

Rooted and bumpd?
Sent from my LG G3.
So I just got this phone as a backup for when I go out to work on construction that if my phone were to break it would be this $40 Optimus F3 and not my $640 LG G3. Now here is the issue and I will explain what I have done.
Issue: When I turn screen off (Hit the power button once or when it auto sleeps) the phone just locks up and freezes. It happens when the screen is off for 10 seconds or longer. Before that I can reactivate the phone and it works fine.
Other Symptoms:
-If I allow the phone to stay frozen after about 2 minutes it reboots itself.
What I have done
-Factory Reset several times
-Restored the stock firmware kdz via the lg firmware updater
-Rooted to install a cpu app which does't allow the phone into a lower frequency. I have tried setting minimum frequency to every single option available and it still freezes at the 10+ second mark.
-Tried another battery from a friends F3.
Test I have made:
Disable screen timeout. This allowed the phone to stay on and responsive for as long as the screen was on. No matter how long I let it go as soon as the screen turns off the issues starts and 10 seconds later it just locks up then restarts after another 2 minutes.
Times tested: 10 minutes, 40 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours and 8 hours. Same result each time.
I have no idea what else I can do. I would appreciate any help. I am starting to think it is a hardware failure which kicks in when the screen is off. I don't mind having the screen on all the time but I would love to track down this issue. If I must and this being an lcd display would having a special background do anything at all? Is there a color which is a lower power consumption than any other? Thanks
I have an LG g5 for about a year.. just an hour ago it randomly shut off well actually the screen became all pixelated and then when I turned it off by pressing the power button and turned it back on its still pixelated. I removed the battery and re-inserted it.. tried putting it on charger but the same thing. The phone turns on but the LG logo and adroid logo are all pixelated.. it moves to the home screen and i can kind of see it showing draw a pattern but it isn't responding. Moreover, when the screen is displaying with this sort of pixelated images the top of the phone turns extremely hot and is draining battery very very fast. The light at the top of the phone is blinking fine, I can hear sounds and vibrations when i turn the volume up and down and when i connect my usb to the computer it recognizes it but I cannot go into the screen. What could be the issue?
The screen keeps waking up and gives a sound, then turns off and then wakes again. Specially from 90% to 100% it does it more often. Frequency increases.
This is through the lg charger that comes in the box.
Same with me.. Happens Most of the time if i kept it charging overnight. Have factory reset couple of times, latest updates, but no luck.
It happens to me only with LG charger. With others it's fine.

Agree. Perfect answer, same with me, i changed with my LG V10 adapter, now no more issue.
My lg g8x stucks for about 30 sec and restarts while plug in for charging.
If i switch of it first and then plug in charges fine
Is it motherboard issue or any short circuits.
I format it nd tried charging same issue.
