No need a 3rd party app, it is possible enable CallRecord with a stock app, just need it ported from china version of our devices ANE-AL00C00 and ANE-TL00C00.

Nope AFAIK.
That was introduced in 2.3 - you may use third party apps for video calling, like Tango, Skype etc.
Is it possible to record video call WITHOUT using skype and gtalk. Save into 3gp format...? is it necessary to root my device to enable the recording function? Any reply would be much appreciated...

Doubt it. Definitely doable with Skype. Why not use that ?

I check out my friend i9100's gallery got recorded our video call. The video in 3gp file save as the name as "VT2011-12-18 13.15.47.3gp". That's definitely the date and time of our video call session. Make a google search and come out with no luck... He forgot already which custom rom using at that time. Very unfortunate...
Recording video call that I just mentioned earlier either my friend using Rarity ROM or Criskelo ROM. But try V38 criskelo ROM cannot record video call. So any idea 3rd party apps yet have the best quality for Video Call? Skype? gtalk? Tango? Fring? which one is the best and no upside down image? Any suggestion?? Huhu...

Well, ive tried recording tango video calls with screencast, z screen recorder and display recorder.
None have worked as I'd hope. I just get black screens or broken image on my xt875.
tried forcing gpu rendering. still nothing
no option to disable hardware overlay on mine. hmm

u will be dissopointed in looking for the same for sure, since the callrecording function inbuilt jb rom is not there for sure.
u can try some third party apps like 'Total Call recorder' from stores and see

+1 to this one, noted you need root like but been using this year's even purchased it twice
I use Advanced Audio Recorder from the Play Store. Uses both top and bottom mics and with a couple of settings changes, it sounds absolutely fantastic and can record to FLAC. I have been using Skwalex for several years on different phones and have always been satisfied. Do not use the "lite" version only you need to download the full version, e.g. 3.5.0, because then it displays phone numbers.
Skvalex can be installed on two phones.

It constantly hangs and a hit and miss. I have some recording that did not recorded at all . That software is buggy as hell. Just go for the LSposed app of google dialer call recording. Only thing you need to take care is to press the record button when you want to record it, then make sure thet you share the recording over BT to your PC othervise it will be overwritten when you record the next call from the same number.
i bought one xperia 5 mark 4 i would like to know if there is out there some working call recorder that can record both sides without google annoucement saying that the call is being recorded?
as far as i know some hackers modded the dialer from realme phones and realme 8 5g can record calls for example without google alert.
i dont wanna unlock boot loader or root most because i do use internet banking apps and when i do so i think i will make the phone more fragile to hackers and some banking app will not work anymore.
i can still cancel my purchase...
someone tried boldbeast or cube or acr call recorder? any news from modded apks without root?
