I don't want to relock my watch, I just wanted to remove the "unlocked lock" icon that appears at boot. It's a bit nit picky but I'd like to see it removed. Is there a modified bootlogo I can flash for this?

I just unlocked my bootloader (via the toolkit) and then proceeded to install TWRP 2.5 (manually, via fastboot).
The next goal is to root the phone, but I cannot find a way to boot to recovery. I've tried using adb and I've tried it by using the volume keys and power/lock button while in bootloader mode.
The white HTC splash screen comes up with the red warning text at the bottom (the message that comes up when you're booting into a custom recovery -- I forget what it says offhand: something about a build being for development purposes or something). This splash screen is on the screen for maybe half a second before disappearing. After this happens, the normal HTC splash screen (same thing without the red text) pops up and the phone proceeds to boot normally.
This is my second One and the second time I've attempted this. The first time I had no issues, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I've tried re-downloading/re-installing TWRP and I've tried fastboot erase cache (which I didn't know about until having searched for a fix). No error messages popped up at any point during the flashing process, so I'm quite confused.
Has anyone else had this happen and if so, how did you fix it?

I had this issue, if you boot into bootloader does it say tampered? If not turn your phone completely off and then boot it into bootloader. Then you should be able to enter recovery. I ciuldnt enter recovery until my bootloader read tampered.

You're right, it won't boot to custom recovery until it says tampered. I'm pretty sure I've rebooted several times since installing TWRP, but either way it's working (for) now. I'm not sure what the hell made it "click," but I'll take it. Thanks.

Yeah it took me more then 10 tries until I just shut it off and then went into bootloader and there was the tampered. Glad it worked out for you.

I had the same problem. I just did "adb reboot recovery" once and it worked, and it boots to recovery from the phone now every time.

Yes mine says that. I am a new to this, what do i need to do
I am in a messed up situation, I live outside US, asked a friend to bring me a nexus 9 from US. Tablet was ordered from Amazon, and when I received it its box was open. Anyway long story short when I turned on the tablet it showed me google logo then directly went to recovery screen (android logo with exclamation sign and text no command). This is all I get no matter how many times I restart the tablet.
I don't know how it got into this state, but I tried resetting it from recovery and fast boot, but it shows me same screen.
Boot loader is locked and I can not unlock it with unlock boot loader command, it tells me I don't have permission to run this command, now I know in nexus 9 you have to check a box in developer settings to run that command but the irony is I never reach the OS screen.
So I have locked boot loader, I am in a boot loop where my tablet boots into recovery by default, I can not unlock boot loader with simple unlock command, but I have access to boot loader and recovery and also ADB.
What option if any I have, is there any way to unlock boat loader without first checking that box in developer options, I really need help here other wise my money is going down the drain.

Can you get into recovery, when you get the exclamation mark use power + vol up? If you can do a factory reset in that

I need help my bike unit E 2 xt1514 not leave the bootloader screen, I did the bootloader installed logo.bin and then only did the fastboot oem lock command and now he caught the boot loader screen, and does not come out, try choose other options but does not come installed dela.Já stock rom, already I tried to unlock again and not leave this screen. Please if anyone can help me, I thank you
Hi,
Few days back i had flashed aosp extended pie rom but I had enabled secure boot option at startup. Then I again restored my phone to stock rom 5.8.019s. but now I am not able to flash aosp again as after entering secure boot pin/pattern it gets stuck at 'starting android' screen. I tried many times but same thing. And with this twrp and stock rom also has got the secue boot lock. I can't remove that as there is no option in marshmallow to disable secure boot. I want to also know why aosp don't start even after correct pin/pattern? What are the options?
I don’t know what happened to my phone, but I booted up the phone and I get the error in the picture below. The boot loader is locked and I can’t unlock it, it says “flashing unlock is not allowed “ and I can’t access download mode or any mode except boot loader.
So is there anyway to revive my phone again? Maybe force unlock boot loader or flashing stock bios using fastboot?
Thank you for your time.

Press and hold power key to continue
You probably pressed power button which paused it from going further
That's the ugly Red safety warning, not the benign yellow one. As I understand, this is what happens if the bootloader is locked and one of the partitions fails its security check. All partitions must be completely stock when the bootloader is locked.
@runningnak3d described this somewhere, and I seem to recall it's a hard brick, or at least pretty hard. But I hope I'm wrong
