If you use a "newer" Android version (I think Marshmallow+) something like a cache cleaner is complete unnecessary in my opinion.
... in normal scenarios.

Update it and its quicker. pretty simple process.
2 posts up in the answer.
is the easiest way
Eminence v1.2 + jit enabled = x4 speed (trust me)
and battery life will increase around 70%
Really important that you DON'T use ATK to kill system tasks or persistent apps. If you don't really know what you're looking for it's much better not to use it at all... I don't.
Hello,
Thank you everyone for your suggestions, I still have some questions. (Sorry can't help it)
1) What is xrecovery? If I use it will I miss my official 2.1 firmware? (Does it flash to Custom/Un-official firmware?) I'm scared due to the number of bugs.
2) If its unofficial, Can I still use JIT with my official 2.1?
3)

I am currently using Advanced Task Killer. (Widget on my main screen) to kill applications.
What do you want me to use to free memory? Please expand your statement.
Also, I have Security as High and Auto Kill to None in the ATK.

I would like to thank everyone for your inputs. You have been very helpful.

Simply put, Xrecovery helps you to install custom ROM's, Themes and helps you to backup and restore data on your X10 the easier way ... More details and download HERE

Yes, you can use JIT with official / stock firmware... it will void your warranty but so did rooting

Launcher or Home is the application that manages your homescreen,[you have the stock launcher] main applications menu etc... Open market and search for ADW launcher and/or Launcher pro, Install one of them or both, to set your launcher click on the middle hardware button on your xperia, you will be presented with the launcher choices, select the installed launcher and experiment with it... for more details search the forum...

Read all the instructions carefully, and follow it to the book and please use the search function and read through the threads before you ask anymore questions.
Thanks for everyting.
I have installed xrecovery along with JIT successfully!
Installed ADW launcher.
1) Now I'd like to know if there are anymore tweaks that could improve the performance of the mobile?
2) How can I increase my battery performance? (Life)
All your suggestions definitely helped me out.And by the way, I did do my homework before I went through my questions.
Thanks for everything
from the fact that you have been able to root, install xrecovery and JIT i'd say that you are more than capable of doing most things that are suggested on this forum (more than most of the people that seem to post here anyway!) so i'd suggest just reading over a few different threads in the dev section for more information. knowledge is power, as they say
Hi:
At first sorry to all for my poor english, so I´ll try to make me understand.
I have recently instaled the custom rom (my first custom rom The end V3 at my Samsung Galaxy Ace.
I love the look of my phone, and it works great, very fast.
But I have a problem endomondo runtastic cardiotrainer don´t work.
All aplications cause a forced closing.
I wish I could put this query in the thread of development, but as I have little time with you I can not.
Somebody can help me? It´s very strange that any aplication of this kind, don´t work, so I think tha could be a problem with the setting of cyanogen, I hope so.
Thanks to all.

i tryed a few weeks ago but i didn't fell a big difference..all my apps worked but xposed crash..so i continue to use davilk..i think that in android L art will be the only option like in nexus 5, and i hope all problem will be fixed..!
sorry for bad english
I am using Art, all apps run smoothly, not of any difference though!
Latery I observed random freezes of the phone after quick usage, don't know if it is because of art!
I've been using it for few days, but I switched back to Dalvik, becaue ART was causing crashesh in my aps. For example, gmail was crashing while sending mails, gallery after switching pics etc. So it gave me only issues with aps and nothing in exchange
Hello
If i'm right, ART is useful only for applications specificaly developped for it.
No improvement expected with "standard " apps.

ART improves the time apps take to start.
Personally, I haven't used it because Xposed doesn't support it.
thank you all for answers.
if i want to go back to dalvik, it's the same procedure?

Xposed reverts ART to Dalvik automatically because it doesn't support it.
Nothing else does that automatically.

Went back to davlik.

In order to clean our devices, I used SD Maid by @Dark3n in the pro version for many years now.

You don't have to be rooted to use the pro version , being rooted means you can clean the root of your phone with sdmaid , a deeper clean , you can clear system, advertising logs & more, I find it the safest cleaner when rooted, never bricked my device whilst rooted others I have lol
