truoble with uploading my OS [accidently delted Os Sd card] - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

I recall my xiomi Redmi 3 for format and the next thing show me before reboot "no OS detacted are you sure you want to reboot?"
been through it and done that I waited the Os will appear on the phone screen but all I get is the Icon MI show on till battery drys off . boot screen is available and log in too for the boot system options (for the ones who experienced this red, green and yellow bulbs appear regulary for this situation - red bulb flash when starter , green bulb when it charged with full screen on battery percents image 100 % ,yellow bulb when battery charging shown the battery meter chargeable image).
from this point of view I read and figure the meaning of ROM/FLUSH/BOOT/ROAMING/OS Reboot/os FORMAT/INSTALLNEWOS -is the nesscery with followed steps is what I need. good guide article or readme will be helpful. is any one exprinced this kind of truble?
[p.s- the all started things is because I want to format my olds Os AND install new one version that will be suittbale for this phone without root or any kind of pirate active on this phone fya that will contain legit pass/root. it the nougat android os that I looked for.
read about root
its dosnet sound good as delete and install new Opration system

whats next
offcourse until someone logic will tell me what should I need to do next?

If you can enter booloader, just flash stock, then do whatever you want. If not, enter edl, and flash rom from there, then whatever you want. There are like a thousand guides to fix this. Just search this subforum.

? Device not booting - flash rom without running windows mobile?

Hi all,
I've got a problem with my hermes phone which I can't solve by my own I think :
My device gets stucked while booting. It just shows a "htc smart mobility" screen and displays the various red numbers on the bottom for some seconds (as usual I think). But it's not going any further (waited for about 20 minutes).
I flashed the "Hermes.DarkVisions.v5.17.23017.Manila" rom over my exisisting "Schap's 4.22" rom a few hours before. The rom was running good. Then I executed the "kill em all" app by mistake, which can be found in the accessory folder as far as I can remember. Then the phone began to work very slowly so I decided to restart it. And now its not really working any more.
By connecting the phone with my pc and trying to flash a new rom, I get the RUU Error "200 INVALID UPDATE TOOL" - what does this mean? The auto detection of the current bootloader obviously doesn't work due to no running windows mobile.
Is there any chance to flash the phone without a running windows mobile? Or what else can I do to get the current rom "Dark Visions" running again?
Thanks a lot for your help,
Michael
Press The Power, The ok button (usually found on the left side) and The reset button using your pen until this rainbow coloured thing comes up.
Plug it into your USB and then reflash your ROM, also don't forget to upgrade your radio as you will need it to stabilize your custom ROM which you will find under wiki part of this forum. Just search "Hermes Radio" and click the first thing you see.
Now your device should be back to life again.
OK, so I've been reading the Common Upgrade Problems on the wiki, and I saw this:
Important : Windows VISTA users need to make a change to their system to successfully use many ROM packages. See Mr. Vanx's guide here.

Since Mr.Vanx's website was taken down, I ask you what are the changes i need to perform and if I need to apply them to Windows 7.
Best wishes!
Any help in here?
Please, i have the same trouble. I didn't work with Windows 7. Does Anyone know a solution?

Assistance plz my HTC LEo is ... DEAD :(

hey guys ...
there is the whole story
My friend's HD2 device was working in strange way, When restarting it gives a white screen and the HTC logo and freeze at this screen and then after a large number of re-starting it works, but when re-restart it again it return to the white screen
After a Hard Rest through the sound buttons the top and bottom were formatted but the device remain standing at the white screen after a Hard
the only solution to me was upgrade to new Rom and after read in the forum that This problem can be a lack of Compatibility between the Rom and the radio, but I think that the device had not been updated b4 by a lack of awareness of my friend, and then check the SPL version ,it was 1.42.000 (still locked) then try to ulock it by HSPL2_RUN as posted in some thread
it done right and the message "we hacked .." and enter boot-loader and checked it became 1.42.spl then I tried to upgrade by the following Rom:
RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_GCC_1.43.488.1_Radio_Sig ned_15.26.50.07U_2.04.50_22_2_Ship
When updating the device whenit reached 9% did not complete the upgrade untill the upgrade process stopped by itself so I did restart the black screen appeared within a triangle inside the exclamation point.
now I started to be panic, and then search the net and found the advice from someone to use Task29 before the upgrade and when I run the program worked fine and after restarting the white screen returned with the HTC logo inside
I tried again to upgrade the same Rom and returned the same result ,searching again and found many advise to upgrade the SPL to version 2.0 which is recommended by most members
After the successful conversion of the SPL took off the device and swithched to boot loader to make sure the validity of conversion and the back of the version then after restating the white screen appeared and when I tried to reboot again the device turned off, I tried several times and did not work I said maybe the battery and when i connect the charger it did not ship and the orange led did not spark, tried the USB method but same result
I tried another charger and a another usb cord and it did not work and I check the battery by an electronics specialist, He assured that the battery is fully charged.
And now the device does not function at all, not even shaking when running and screen or charging
please guys i need ur argent assistance ...even a thought may help
Note: This is not the first time for me unlocking and flashing thin , my last devices was: JAM - k-jam - Jazjam - Omnia (current)

Hi,
Since you have enough experience in flashing custom ROM, I would suggest you the following ways:
1. Make sure battery is at least 50% and the battery pins are not bent
2. Format your micro sd card to fat 32
3. Find and download the CORRECT STOCK ROM. You can download it from htc website if your hd2 is non branded, or you can download it from your carriers website if your hd2 is a branded one. Make sure the downloaded file is not corrupt due to download process
4. Extract the downloaded file using 7 zip or winrar. Find the file named: RUU_signed.nbh Then, rename it to: leoimg.nbh then copy it to the root directory of your micro sd card
5. Go into boot loader and follow the onscreen instruction. If therenis no hardware issue, it should work.
Good luck ...
thanks m8 but I've checked the pins and changed the battery with fully charged one ..
but it's no boot loader mode ... its completely off
thanks 4 ur support
Not offering solution, just an observation,,,, hanging at HTC screen and only occasionally booting, plus flashing hanging at. 9% is a bad sign, sometimes associated with a stuck radio, and/or/caused by thermal issues.
Try chilling the phone with stock nbh ready to go on SD card, in sealed bag in fridge/freezer for a while, then try to SD flash.
If flashing starts, (white screen blue writing) keep an eye out for "rsa radio fail" or similar.
if the flash goes well, but then later the problem returns, it's pretty conclusively hardware.
thanks buddy for the advise but as I mentioned b4 ...
the device doesn't boot anymore ... and yeah it's Hardware bug I think.
best regards

[Q] Android NAND Install problems

Hi, think I know a bit of what I'm doing, read all I could, etc.
W7 laptop, SD SD with HP format, RHOD100.
(Can get serial # from Nexus 7 with ADB install, can reflash WM from SD, etc)
USB cable to computer.
I can 'flash' (update image) new Android RHODIMG.NBH to phone, I get filled progress bar, and then Update Complete, UPDATE SUCCESS and phone will not cut off (stuck in bootloader?) I do manual reset button.
Then I can 3 finger reset (SEND, END, + ON) to get tri-color, and then VolUp option. (So far, this is just like WM reflash) I push VolUp.
Screen goes to "Restore... Waiting for completed" and unfilled progress bar - and that's it. At this point, other resets can get me tricolor with USB, white HTC with NO radio, version, etc, and this waiting screen.
(I can use same process and get right back to WM.)
Where is my error?
THANKS!!
You can't flash Android with USB. SD is the only way to flash the NBH for Android.
Do you see the blue boot loader screen?
(I've also got the image for android on SD, just not getting there...)
I never get a completely blue screen (get tri-color), I go exactly as far as I mentioned - 2nd progress bar with no progress.
Using these instructions and downloaded files... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566955 stuck at step 10 or 11 or so.

Did you unlock your phone?
Unlocked long ago, olinex or something similar. Been trying various roms for years with no problems, played with SD android for awhile, wanted to try NAND.
I have good SDK, etc, put image on SD, phone finds it, first loading bar looks great, reboot, second loading bar never starts.
Do you guys never see 2nd progress bar ("Restore... Waiting for completed") - is my fault before that? Is there a better set of instructions that what I'm using?

So you flash the NBH... and it's never flashed successfully? Not sure what you mean by "second progress bar"... there's only one when you flash the NBH via SD.
OK - now we're talking!
I definitely see a second progress bar that never starts under "restore, waiting for completed" on a whitish screen as above.
Is the RHODIMG.NBH from that instruction set the correct one?
I will try downloading again and moving to SD again in case of file fault.
THX for helping...

I guess I'm still not following.
Have you ever flashed via SD? The process is really quite simple. Just place the RHODIMG.nbh file at the root of the SD, and put the phone in bootloader mode. It should pickup the file and offer to start the flash.
Yes, and since I tried this I have also successfully flashed back to WM by SD, numerous times now.
I am not successful at flashing and then loading the small .nbh for Android
Am trying new download now...

So to get things straight, you downloaded this file and put it on the SD. Now when you load it, you won't be able to get it to load using the recovery. Recovery is for Windows original files only as far as I get that.
Instead you just press and hold the volume down button while powering on the device. After you see the tri-coloured screen you can let go. You will get prompted with a white screen. On this you'll see:
Now the rhodimg.nbh is detected and by pressing the power button you can flash it. (or press volume down to cancel and return to the tri-coloured screen) After it said OK/Succesfull you remove the battery or press the reset button, after this there's no further steps, you just let it power on and you get a BLUE screen with some white texts called the LK bootloader / minipooploader by [ACL]
Here's a short instruction video to explain what I typed.
Al - THX for joining in!
That's the file (only one I can find), I do exactly as described, but at "battery or press reset" I get a white HTC (like would have 4 files listed on WM) that cuts off after 4 seconds, a three button push gets me a reload with no progress.
I made films...
files on SD - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbK8aWh9378&feature=youtu.be
process - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01Uq1dqtydE&feature=youtu.be
that show reset and 3 button reset (USB in here, same USB out) (Also, fresh solo Task 29 from RUU advanced...)
Any clues anyone?
(Could RHODIMG.NHB be bad on server?)
Not sure why you are doing a hard reset after you load the android NBH. Skip that.
Just let it load.
The instructions and post 11 above indicate reset.
I'm trying just leaving it at the Update Complete UPDATE SUCCESS progress bar now....
Nope - that just sits there after RHODIMG.nbh - OK, OS - , and UC/US,...

Just a regular reset, not a hard reset is what I think they are meaning. I have lost count of the number of times I have loaded android onto my device, and I have never ever done a hard reset after the initial nbh load.
When I load android on my rhod400 it always hangs at the update success screen from the initial nbh load. Try just popping out the battery (and putting it back in) and letting it boot normally after you see the update success screen from the android nbh. You should get to a blue boot loader screen.
That (simple on or reset button) after android.nbh success gets me:
a white screen with HTC (that would normally [WM] fill in with b,r,s,something - 4 ?file versions) for 4-6 seconds, and then off and blank. Battery yellow will cycle 80% on. Subsequent on times out (HTC white) and off as above.
Have you loaded recently with the current file?

Unless you're using some old file, yes I have flashed recently. Just flashed a TP2 the other day...
https://code.google.com/p/rhodium-nand/downloads/list
That's where you're getting all your NAND downloads from yes? Please ensure you have the newest stuff. This part is really the "easy" part. Just need to be SPL unlocked, then flash .nbh via SD. Seriously, that's the easy part... the hard part is getting your computer to recognize the phone in fastboot mode, and flash the recovery image - that's the step I always seem to have issues with.
This is an video from a Rhod 210, but it gives you a good idea what to expect. Useful info starts around 7:00.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qNCHqGPofI
Redid it all - exactly per video... fresh downloads. etc...
Where video shows carrier splash, then 4 circular buttons, and then blue with text, I get white HTC for 5-6 seconds and then off.
Just to be sure, since original thread evolved...
Mine is a RHOD100, SEA Roms work fine, SPL 0.85 olinex (AT&T freqs, they think it's a Tilt 2)
Seems it was only some phones early...

[Q] No.1 X2 - root problems

Hi everyone,
I bought a No.1 X2 (001mobilephone) about 3 months ago, I have tried every version I can of PC > Phone rooting software and .apk's plus tried using a few similar tools that use ADB. (inc kingoroot, kingroot (chinese), SRS, oneclickroot, towel, androidroot, etc)
I cannot get the phone rooted and I do not want to wait, phone-less, for a month (at least a month to send to the manufacturer who was supposed to have rooted before it was shipped - and who knows if they will send it again without root).
the phone (may?) seams to have partial root, when i installed led manager, and have since done a wipe, the led settings seamed to have stayed with my custom email and other notification colours.
Specs/software is:
Qualcomm MSM8916
android 4.4.4
Kernal 3.10.28

Hi, same phone, same problem. The above site might be interesting for you. No.1 supplies Qualcomm software and the phone's firmware with a tutorial to root. I succeeded in putting firmware on a bricked X2, but still did not get root access. But I am a newby, so give it a try. Good luck
UNBRICK no.1 x2 using original ROM
Thanks for this, i now have access to the ROM, and if you can understand the instructions its possible to install the ROM again.
I just did this today, however its partially rooted, as was my phone when I received the X2.
I need to now try to use kitchen and a bunch of other tools as described here to try and install Su and/or root the rom: en.miui.com/thread-21539-1-1.html
if i am sucessful i will post instructions, for now here are clear instructions on how to (should work as tested on my x2) unbrick X2 with this software.
1. download this: "ht tps: SLASH SLASH drive DOT google DOT com SLASH file SLASH d SLASH 0ByeMRyNUHsNRdGc0Qk1jQlJIb3c SLASH view" (i have less than 10 posts so cannot type full url, replace SLASH SLASH with // and DOT with .)
2. extract the rar (download trial of winrar or similar to extract (noobs))
3. launch the setup.exe from the folder you extracted too. (remember where it is installed)
4. extract the X2.rar to a folder (new folder on desktop or my docs)
5. right click (win 7, 8 10) and run as admin (the installed program from desktop called "QMSCT")
6. open the "setup" menu in QMSCT and click "configuration"
7. make settings look like the picture in: "ht tp s: SLASH SLASH drive . google . com SLASH file SLASH d SLASH 0B2M8OmUI5XS-SGtudHYwS0tLZGc SLASH view?usp=sharing"
all check boxes and fixed options must be identical, i have highlighted red
8. insert (red again) the file names shown in the picture (they will be in the original extracted rar where you launched the setup program or in the directory you installed to).
9. in the bottom field locate the folder where you extracted the x2.rar, this folder location is the folder you must browse to and select in the bottom of the settings screen. Only care about the red markings i made, i will now tell you below how to get the information you cannot change yet in the settings.
10. first SAVE, exit the settings, then exit program.
11. plug in no.1 X2 Mobile, while phone on hold power until options appear, then hit restart, before it turns off and vibrates, hold down both volume buttons and then also press and hold power... do'nt let go until phone vibrates and turns on to a blank screen... sometimes it will restart, just do it over again and again until it boots up blank (screen has lit up back/grey)
12. when screen blank windows will install driver. NB: Unfortunatly i had issues here and it took a windows 10 tech preview install 10041 build x64 to do this, however it did not get fiddly i just had to try xppro, win 10x64 on a laptop and then my desktop to work it out, also I was following chinese instructions that had been translated and were not perfect to begin with. So any win 7, xp or 8 might need to source which driver to install from no.1. Windows 10 tech preview is free and can be put on another partition easily if you search (noob) on xda or google i am sure someone will have covered it.
13. unplug phone, launch QMSCT again as admin, go into settings and click "Start setup process" then click ok on dialogue box. now plug in phone and hold vol buttons again, then power and hold all 3 down until it reboots into the blank screen. if all works a port will be found (1-8 i think i saw in my many attempts) once it has found it and you see the information on the screen look similar to my screen shot, click on save. note your port will maybe differ, and if it does not work, restart application and phone again and repeat. when it saves, exit configuration, exit application and then you need to restart application
14. if all is right, plug in phone, hold the 3 buttons in order again, and the application will start flashing it. DONT UNPLUG UNTIL RED OR GREEN shown in app.
RED=fail - go back through my instructions and the supplied "flash tutorial.docx" in the RAR (you extracted this at the begining - the pictures may help more than the instructions they gave)
GREEN=Woohoo! all done, unplug phone and do the power button combo, it will restart (might need to do combo a few times)
NB: settings stay the same once this application is set up, so you do not need to go through all again in future, just launch app and then plug in phone and do 3 button combo.
I hope this helps, if you are good with CUSTOM ROM creation, feel free to see if you can get this rom rooted and flashed and tell me/readers of this forum... if anyone wants a real challenge, root this rom, make the kernal 64bit and not 32bit and then post here.... this is what I want to do eventually if i can work it out.
good luck any bricked x2 owners

Ok so if you are still bricked (as I temp was) use this program: qtadb . wordpress . com SLASH download.
it fixed my x2 which was in boot loop, could not use adb or the flash program to even see it, win 10 was not recognising anything driver wise.
just extract from the x2.rar with all the boot img etc: boot.img and recovery.img
locate most recent android sdk/platform tools folder when asked for it
click on the corresponding "flash recovery" in qtadb and locate the extracted image, do the same with the boot img tab and find your boot img
that's the order i did it in, i may have reset phone between them and cleared cache by holding vol+ and power and using boot loader. I had installed an msm8916 file to root, that apparently does not... ah well we live and learn.
looking for solution to turn that x2.rar into a rom.zip as kitchen does not work with it. maybe im doing something wrong?
anyway phone on again so the search continues...

Hi
This forum is the closest thing I have found which might help me in my problem to fix my 1 week old X2.
I really enjoyed using it - I got it 2 weeks ago - and it was working fine for all the week then last weekend I had a few apps running and the screen froze. I rebooted the phone but it just stayed black and never came on again. It is a stock standard phone - and it has not been rooted or modified in any way. Someone suggested removig the battery then refitting it.
How is that done?
Is that a good thing to do?
What else can I try?
Has anybody any idea on what might have caused this?
I'm stuck!

Hi,
I have one as well: it is indeed fun to play with but it is not reliable. I had multiple issues with it in the past months. Therefor my advice is: send it back and claim your guarantee (especially if you want to use it as your primary phone). Otherwise use the unbrick advice from markatkins earlier in this thread (but you have to feel secure with android)
good luck

Looks like I have to pay a premium on the freight via courier to get it back to China. The local postal service won't take it because it contains a (non-removable) Lithium battery.. I'm not sure about unbricking it as it seems it is a very complicated process - and seeing that it seems completely dead -(not any signs of life, no lights, no screen) do you thnk it is just a matter of a firmware reset? If I attempt to unbrick it - I lose the warranty right?
So my best bet I think is to depart with several tens of dollars for the freight and demand a replacement that will not bug out inside 2 weeks.
issue, try this

Look I had this issue regarding dead and not turning on... sometimes charging it for several hours and it would just come back to life, i believe it is a battery issue, reading battery (stock rom) and when it may say 15% for example, the battery is actually empty and it dies, the charging should make display turn on but does not for a long, long time.
if this does not work, hold down vol up or vol down plus power button, this can breath life into it (sometimes both up and down plus power) remember press all at exactly same time and hold for 10 seconds at least for reset (unless it comes back before 10 seconds)
been a while since i held my phone so check top of page for my instructions as it is in there
best of luck

Thanks for this, i now have access to the ROM, and if you can understand the instructions its possible to install the ROM again.
I attached a Word Document with information and questions about this X2 device, which is too hard to recover to update ... and an buch of missfunction. ( camera error : can't connect to the camera; 4G LTE does not function, only 3g; battery life normal as 2000 mAh; )
I expect your answer or comments very soon.

Nice work
you need to install all ports to make this work well... i am going off memory from over 2 months ago but if you can revisit my instructions and check how many ports i have to setup, it should get you a green light, i could see an error in a photo at bottom of word... something about ports, this may confirm my theory.
I will answer all the questions soon, once I have a phone in my hand (give me 2 weeks, and tinker while you wait )
hope this helps

just do what I did, post and tell them battery removed (tick the plane and ship boxes - should be on form for international post)
I looked up why battery is now banned, its stupid... thanks to the more dangerous li-pol battery types, starting fires in planes and stuff like exploding, the air transport authority decided to ban the li-pol (explodes and loads of fires every year) and in that they included the more reliable (not dangerous and very few accidents worldwide) li-ion which is what is in your phone... so batterys in general.
play dum, say no battery in phone and tick that box for sea/ship shipping
remember this is a 80 degree c proof phone, pressure proof and should be able to contain the fire, but a fire wont start...
otherwise pay AUD100 (convert to GBP or USD for a similar horrific amount no one should pay)
if your phone does explode or cause a fire in transit... i am not accountable, you do this at your own risk and risk of being fined etc blah blah... read about % of fires from li-pol and li-ion, you will see the chance is slim, slimmer once sealed in a phone that will give it a heat proof case to try and get past plus minimal air to fuel a fire... good luck fixing or sending
I found an app called KINGROOT and worked like a charm. It rooted my No.1 Xmen X2 with just one click, it even fix the Kitkat SD write problem in the process.
I had to erase the SD card after the rooting process for the fix to work and after the root, had to reboot the phone 2 times. Everything is working super fine so far. Hope this work for everyone!

I have just tested the newest software from kingroot as advised released by denispunk, I am amazed as I only downloaded the previous version a few weeks ago, no luck with the old version of "new_kingroot...", however I may be in a slightly different position to others as my phone seams to have an issue locked in (despite flashing and wipe of partition) where it has a partial root access of some form, so trying this now......................
Tried 2 times and failed, I want to ask all reading this to please download (rename from .zip to .apk) and attempt root on their x2 or x6800. if you fail click on the huge submit button as I have been doing this for some time in the hope that they would see demand and accelerate the process of making a workaround.
For all looking (that search for root x6800 online ) this should work the same % for anyone with the no.1 x6800 and the x2 [I have the X2 and got money back from insurance claim, so I also have x6800 on the way ] because the x2 and x6800 are the same rom from what I have researched, the only difference is the micro sd capacity, the 4g bands supported and a huge 6000mha battery in the x6800. most components otherwise are identical.
All reading please have a go...
if you are reading this you have an x2 or x6800 or know someone who does...
if your not very experienced or if you are experienced in ROM work, try point 1 and then try point 2 below, but please just do point 1 if nothing else
1) email No.1 and "beg" for a android 5.0/64bit kernel ROM for the x2 and x6800 to be released - I have done this and want to encourage you all to help me force the company to meet consumer demand, by setting a consumer demand. This 64bit update would increase the phones potential as it has a 64bit CPU, it currently runs 32 bit software which is slowing it down.
once done read point 2
2) I wanted to see if some experienced persons could visit the en.no1phone.cc site and download the M2 firmware (not a spelling mistake) as this device and the x2 use the same unusual ROM's which look similar in layout. my hope is we can bind parts from the 2 ROM's together to get a 64bit android version onto the x2/x6800... please understand I do know this will need work and will most likely not work ever but with the unique rom types I figure there is no harm in trying and someone might have the ability to open them and do some magic.
now the phones are physically different but No.1 use the same basic layout in their ROM's and the most basic possible stock android with nothing but background pictures added.
my hope, from what I can see in the files of the two ROM's, is that we can merge/build the OS, kernal and some of the information from the M2 ROM into the x2 ROM (I have supplied the x2 rom in the top of this post on page 1) and hope that its basic enough to maybe work with some tweaking, I know the CPU is different and that I am explaining this simply like a drag and drop, but if it does work we can get 64 bit software for our CPU's
if all else fails we can hope No.1 release what we ask for, and you can flash the original x2 rom back onto the device until they release it or someone on here gets through the ROMS and makes us our own.

Root worked
I finally sourced a slightly newer .apk and root worked. Kingroot will root no.1 x2 or no.1 x6800. So far used it to access battery stats with Xposed and installed one power guard to lower CPU speed to gain more battery. The device is very fluid still on 533mhz in power save CPU mode with I/O scheduler in "row"
I advise anyone looking for this phone rooted to visit the official www.kingroot.net site
Great news everybody, since my post asking for us to all send kingroot requests to support our device for root access, the number of requests jumped almost 30 points and they listened! Kingroot responded and now...
Kingroot.net will root the no.1 x2!
If you just landed here looking for the software to root the X2 or X6800 from No.1, please help us make this phone better, this forum helped get kingroot.net to enable root for the X2 so help us and say thank you by sending an email to no.1 regarding getting lollipop on the X2 and X6800.
You just need to...
Email: [email protected]
Skype: quecc1989
Or MSN: [email protected]
Ask for lollipop ROM to be made for the x2 and the x6800 and say it will make the phone faster and have a better battery life. Copy that if you like
Update on this: not only will the software give the phone a bit of a boost in power, it should improve battery life and I completely failed to mention before that we will have faster app boot times as well because we will get access to ART instead of Dalvik (Currently I cannot find a way to run ART in KitKat without factory resetting to get out of the nice boot loop it sticks me in).
For those unaware of what I am going on about, Dalvik is the runtime android is moving away from because it has to decompress each installed app before it runs, ART (android run time) installs app's already decompressed (more space used on install but fast launch). I find the x2's 8GB is plenty of internal space for applications so let's harass no.1 sales email and Facebook/twitter/google+until we get lollipop.
Official no.1 site is: http://en.001phone.cn
They use a picture for contact info but feel free to click on my links above for msn, Skype etc
Sorry if this was a ramble, but power of word is going to be easier than us taking and editing ROM's or making ROM's to get lollipop... If we harras them endlessly they will fold and build it for the phones and all it takes is one email each... Maybe a followup each too

I hope the same for the No.1 X6800
forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/root-1-x6800-rugged-ip-68-phablet-china-t3254950
Not much people know the No.1 smartphones (the rugged ones are awesome for the price).
Update: I rooted the No.1 X6800 with 'NewKingRoot v4.62' app and after that buy the Super-SuMe-pro' app to keep it 'trustfully rooted and with SuperSU'.
When device is off, and I press power button and volume up button. Then I get a bootloader that can boot from MicroSD card.
So place the compatible Rom on MicroSD and re flash it.
This works for me with original x6800 rom on my x6800 phablet.

How to recover bricked Elephone P9000Lite

Hello guys,
I am really in need of help. For reason that does not matter any more I have tried to root my phone and now it is unable to start. I followed the steps listed in the below tutorial:
bbs.elephone.hk/thread-9919-1-1.html
However after following some steps, video tutorials and further confusions I ended up trying to "Firmaware Upgrade" my phone with SPFlash Tool, but unfortunately the process was ended prematurely and my phone is not able to start at all (black screen and no reaction from any button). I understand that everyone must take responsibility for the consequences followed by rooting a phone, but I wanted to ask you guys if I am able to recover the phone or I would need to buy a new one.
Here is more detailed information of what I tried and what is the problem I am experiencing:
- Error that I see when I try to "Format & Download" (or any other option / action that SPFlash tool has):
BROOM ERROR : STATUS_PRELOADER_INVALID (-1073545212)
[HINT]:
- What I tried:
1. Reinstalling the drivers because I tought that they are incorrect. Every downloaded dirver results to the same error and I believe that the issue is not related to the dirvers at all (I use Windows 7 Ultimate with the SP_Driver_v2.0).
2. Tried using different versions for SPFlash Tool, but it appears that only the latest ones works with the scatter file that I have (MT6755_Android_scatter.txt). Versions that I tried are - v5.1552; v5.1524; v5.1620; and after trying evrything I believe that the issue is not related to the used tool nor scatter file.
My conclusion is that somewhere along the way I re-formatted my phone, but since the processes ended prematurely this may have disrupted the correct format of the internal storage.
Is is possible to recover from this and if it is what steps / actions should I take to do so. I would really appreciated some help of you guys and will be glad if the phone is working back (promise to stop being a "hacker").
Best Regards,
A fellow that need helps or a new phone
I just wanted to add that I was able to recover my phone. YEY!!!!
For those of your who ran to the same problem here is what I did to restore the phone from the boot loop:
1. Remove the battery - this is quite a tricky part, but if you follow the steps and be careful there should not be any problems:
- Remove the back from the phone - since it is no meant to be easily removed you could use a plastic card and start from the top of the phone (where the ear jack is located).
- After that you would need to remove the top plastic cover - it is placed to protect the main board and all modules. You would need a small "Philips" screwdriver in order to remove all screws. Note that there is one hidden screw that is placed on the middle bottom part of the plastic cover. You could recognize it by the elephone logo placed on top of it.
- Once the plastic cover is removed you will see the connector of the battery. Remove so that the device is actually turned off.
2. Download a STOCK ROM for your device:
- The STOCK ROM for Elephone P9000Lite was downloaded from here:
4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=697579&st=20#entry47838700
All required images along with the scatter.txt file should present inside the downloaded archive.
3. Flash the ROM by using SPFlash tool:
- What I did here is to follow a tutorial that is specifically for hard bricked devices:
devs-lab.com/how-to-unbrick-mediatek-device.html
In my case I had to use the Format + Download option in SPFlash tool and select all images to be flashed. The important part was that the phone's battery had to be disconnected, all images selected by clicking the "Format + Download" option and finally hit the "Download" button. Once this is done you can connect the battery again and connect the device to your computer.
After the process is completed the device can be powered on and it should start booting.
I hope that I can help someone with these steps and that you do not give up on your phone.

I've bricked my other devices before and all i had to do to fix it, was remove the battery and format & download the original software. As you meantioned, with P9000 (same as with the Lite version), the problem is non-removable back cover and battery. Thank you for this tutorial, but it'd be better is somebody make a video tutorial or just add any media at all as many people might not want to do it, because of fear to break something under the back cover
Thanks for this, I am currently in the same position you were. I've cracked open the phone and am just trying to work out which connector feeds the power from the battery. I was pretty sure my problem was repairable so wasn't too stressed, but I hadn't thought to attempt to open the phone up like you did. It was surprisingly easy, and I don't think I'll have done any permanent damage. I'm hoping I can get the phone going again without any data loss, I was trying to flash recovery when I bricked it so hopefully I simply flash TWRP and she boots again.

Hello all. I softbricked my phone while attempting to flash TWRP, and ended up with a phone that wouldn't present anything on screen. So I've located an old XP computer to rule out any driver issues, and using the battery removal mentioned above I was able to flash the factory 20160422 firmware which is what I believe my phone had before I started tinkering. I unticked the userdata box as I flashed it, and left the recovery box ticked which I thought would fix any corrupt recovery that my tinkering caused. The flash took some time, but I got the green tick indicating that it went well. However I still get nothing on screen, the only time I get anything is when I plug it into charge, I get a green battery charge icon for a few seconds before it fades away. If I leave it plugged in for a while, the screens starts to faintly flash sporadically. Does anyone have any advise for me? @awedxz, could you please confirm that the battery connection is on the far left, a shiny copper ribbon with a small silver rectangle plug that clicks into the board?

Let it to charge more time
Thanks mate, this advise was spot on. It must have had 0% battery after fixing it! It's now alive and charging up. How neat that Mediatek devices can be unbricked so easily, although I'll have to be a bit more careful in future I think! My previous devices have been Motorola, HTC and Samsung devices, each with different tools and flashing techniques. Haven't bricked any of them in the past, but it's nice knowing this device will be hard to permanently brick.

Had the same problem, a small cable that goes from the power button was disconnected. Connect the cable and it should run just fine
Just to chime in, I soft bricked my phone as well.
I managed to get it back to life, without taking the phone apart, so that is not a necessity.
Here's what happened: I had CM13 installed on the phone and wanted to go back to stock, so I flashed it according to the guides, also overwriting the preloader.
After that, the phone was dead, as in unable to turn on, no charger detection etc.
As is already known, this phone has an "emergency" line / device, that will turn on once you connect it to the computer and press the VOL+ button (the device will show up for a couple seconds in the Windows device manager).
So what I tried was to flash it again and again, to no avail; sp_flashtool reported the following error after trying to flash the preloader: "BROM ERROR - STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION (-1073414139)"
Finally I tried different stock roms, from the Elephone forum.
The one that did the trick for me was the 20160304 - I loaded the scatter file into sp_flash tool and only flashed the preloader. After that, Windows suddenly recognized the phone as the preloader device, the screen turned on showing the charging image and the notification led lit up. I was able to flash the phone without errors again.
After that I flashed the rest of the stock firmware - without the preloader.
I then let the phone charge a little bit and it turned back on.
If that version of the preloader does not do the trick for you, try different ones.
No need to take the phone apart.
Good luck everyone!
For everyone's else information having this problem. I also bricked my P9000 whilst flashing TWRP and getting the RAM error. I tried every options possible but the only one that worked was to disconnect the battery. It is actually a very easy process as described as above. The battery connector is the small connector nearest to the volume buttons with the bronze coloured connector cable. It simply lifts up and your battery is disconnect. I changed the settings in SP FLASH to without battery and my phone flashed without any problems. Before this, it had been dead for over a week and all other methods failed to wake it up. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone! I had the same problem (bricked phone not recognised by flash tool ecc ecc) and disconnecting the battery did the trick, but I may have messed up with some
The screen connectors and now the screen lits up but stays black. Sounds and touch screen work (I can unlock the screen because I hear the unlock sound), but the screen stays black... If I have damaged the connector (I think it's the one on the upper left, the thinner one that doesn't really click when inserted) there is not much to do, but I just wanted to know If anyone had the same issue and eventually resolved it.
