guys, i bought an Galaxy S9 Plus, SM-G950U1, us unlocked
but i dont live in U.S, i live in Brazil, so Samsung Pay doesn't work with Brazilian credit/debit cards, is there anyway to make samsung pay work in Brazil with this model?
maybe extracting SamsungPay.apk from the Brazilian ROM? Changing CSC?
*If there is any spelling error, I'm sorry, I'm translating with Google translator.

Is there a carrier in your area that sells the s9+? How about your own carrier?
If so you may consider flashing the appropriate firmware to make your phone bee seen as a Brazilian phone and not a US Phone.
I don't think you will get too far trying to get around the regional credit card lock out because these things tend to be a VERY HIGH security risk.
Im pretty sure you will need to find Brazilian firmware for your device and your carrier.

I believe you can. I am not 100% sure so someone with your device may need to verify this.
But I think they are interchangeable.

Hi Luiz, I'll tell you what you have to do in portuguese because it's easier for you.

Can anyone provide a S/N from a Unbranded broked Nike, so users with branded nike's can download ROM from HTC website?
It's possible to download an unbranded rom from HTC web site, with your S/N.
I've downloaded an Windows 6.1 Rom with my S/N for my ex-branded TMN Touch Dual.
Also get in mind that the S/N requested is not your IMEI.

I haven't found any stock firmware for my country, Dominican Republic, so i'm posting this for anyone interested. This is the official gingerbread firmware for Orange Galaxy Ace (Dominican Republic). Useful for warranty purposes. CSC Code is DOR
Since this post is targeted to Dominican Users, from now on i'll be writing in spanish (if that isn't a problem)

If your country/area already has an official release of a newer firmware version, it should show up in KIES.
If not, then you might have to flash an unofficial build or one from another country.
But, seriously, you shouldn't really warry about the warranty because:
1. It's so boring having a stock ROM, you'll eventually flash a custom one, anyway -P)
2. Even if it does brick, Samsung don't give two sh*ts. I know an acquaintance who works in tech repairs (for Android phones), and the software state of the phone usually doesn't come into consideration whether or not the device is still eligible for the warranty.
This post was sent from hell.

If you ever change your product code, you wont be able to update with kies to the original firmware. Also, i haven't found the original csc anywhere, and no multicsc has the DOR one. I've found 1 or 2 things that do not work correctly here without it (an example is that i couldn't logon my SGS2 to a samsung account without the DOR csc, it returns an error)
And we don't have samsung service centers yet. So we rely on the service provider, and they do look for any reason that will allow them to avoid covering the warranty.

Hola,
So what if it has the orange bootanimation? When I flashed 2.3 on mine, it was gone and I was still flashing a stock rom un-rooted. They couldn't possibly void warranty because of such stupid thing.
But then again, they're Orange so who knows.

I specified in the first post why i was posting in spanish. Since nobody made a claim, it's still in this language, but if there is any inconvenient, i have no isue to translate to english. It's still only for the interest of dominican residents because i think nobody in the world is interested in such an old version, and even branded for orangerd.
By the way, i think this forum is for helping others, and i don't see how your coment is helping him.

That depends a lot on what rom you're using. Anyway, just look for the official stock 4.0 version. Should be out by now. You don't have to use Orange's rom.
I had tried 4.0 and it had a lot of bugs. so i went back to 2.3.6 open europe. im guessing the open europe is the reason i lose signal. thats why i want the original.

You csn try changing the modem.. Ki1 works fine. KL1 has some signal problems and sometimes kernel panics (at least in orangerd)
Try kL1.firmware with Ki1 modem...

Yeah, it might be a baseband or kernel problem. Different rom versions have different kernels and basebands. Try to look for the best one with the least issues. For the Ace, its DDKQ.

I just got my S9+ (model SM-G9650).
Since the phone is from "Movistar", the OS comes with a lot of stuff that I don´t want (and i'm unable to disable it without root).
When I had a S8+, I just downloaded the BTU version and voilá, everything was debloated.
Does anyone know what firmware can I flash???

Yes it's unbranded.
Sammobile: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/SM-G9650/ZTO/download/G9650ZHU2ARD3/216997/
Instructions below the download link work like a charm, you also get the download link to the latest version of ODIN.
I'd flash the normal CSC, and not the HOME_CSC, and start fresh. it guarantees no pesky bloatware is left behind. (HOME_CSC doesn't factory reset for phone).

No, SM-G965U (USA Unlocked, Verizon, T-Mo, etc...) and SM-G9650 (China, LATAM) firmwares are not compatible, you could brick your Phone (or best case scenario ODIN won't let you flash).
I believe you can flash the open market firmware for your SM-G965U, or go with the T-Mo firmware, which as listed on Sammobile has the latest firmware version from Samsung(ARC6).
USC(USA unclocked): https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/SM-G965U/USC/download/G965USQU1ARBG/215539/
TMB(T-Mobile): https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/SM-G965U/TMB/download/G965USQU2ARC6/216249/
I don't know if the locked bootloader in your device is an issue, never had a USA Samsung smartphone.

Haven't flashed anything, it has been two updates from the phone directly. The lastest is ARD3 with April patch.

Currently, I'm using the ZTO firmware for my device, but I want the moooost recent patch (June if its possible), so... what's the most recommended "DEBLOATED" firmware for my G9650???

Hello, a few days ago i tried to root my device, probably i did something wrong and now, when I turning on my phone there is only information "Only official released binaries are allowed". I tried to install official firmware the latest of TPL (T-Mobile), Orange, XEO and one older XEO with Android 11 (my phone have 12 version). When I trying to install these firmwares, Odin always show me information fail (auth), what I can do in this situation? I just want to install official firmware for the phone to work
Only CP is passed, when I tried to install single file and I'am using Odin 3 (3.14.4.)
I managed, it turned out that I was using the wrong binary version (I did not know what it was about at the beginning), I installed the TPL Bit 5 version and it worked in SamFW Tool, I saw that it is the right one, but I have a question whether it is possible somehow change TPL to XEO if XEO only has BIT 4?

I tried to install official firmware the latest of TPL (T-Mobile), Orange, XEO and one older XEO with Android 11 (my phone have 12 version). When I trying to install these firmwares, Odin always show me information fail (auth), what I can do in this situation? I just want to install official firmware for the phone to work

samsung DONT allow rollback firmware, so, you MUST install android 12 firmware if you want to use your device
