Hi All,
I'm using Samsung Galaxy S2. 2.3.6 version.
I recently ported my mobile number from Vodafone to Airtel in INDIA.
I left the phone turned 'ON' during porting.
When I inserted the new Airtel SIM after porting is complete...I am able to use DATA and all other service. Im able to receive calls but Im unable to make any calls. The screen blinks with "Call Ended" message immediately.
The new Aitel SIM works on other mobiles perfectly and only Vodafone SIM works on my mobile now.
I brought my SGS2 indepently and I can use any service I want.
Any help/suggestion?

Hello all,
I tried searching for this problem, both on XDA and on the interwebs, but I couldn't find any suitable answers.
I'm getting a network error message when I launch my Google Voice app on my Samsung Galaxy S2 i777 on AT&T's mobile network. The app won't sign in, so I cannot send or receive texts. In addition, Google+ does not connect either, it gives a "no data connection" error. However, Gmail works fine. I checked the auto sync settings, but all appears to be good. On wifi, the app works fine. Also, the issue is not with my data connection since I am able to access websites on 3G.
My phone is stock, with the latest 4.0.4 update on UCLL6. I kept getting the error prior to update as well (started happening in late February). I also checked the phone's date and time settings, because apparently that has been known to cause sync issues, but that didn't work either.
I would appreciate any help on the matter!

I solved this by deleting the app data of Google Search. Settings -> Apps -> Remove data
hi! i have the samsung tab 10.1 gt-p7500 3gs
and i want to know...if i turn of the 3gs option and i connect to the wifi...and i want to send text messege..it will cost me extra money? or the tablet can send the message with wifi?
thanks!!!
I think texting is tied to a carrier phone number. I don't think it works on wifi. I can send messages to friends via wifi using Facebook, Google chat, but my wifi only P7510 will not send text to a phone.

i have a 7500 3g and i use it full time as home phone and messenger through my carrier....it goes through the mobile network but doesn't use 3g ( keep in mind i have mobile data closed unless i need to send mms)
but becareful...some mixes of custom rom + voice call app may make it sluggish...i had to go through some trial and testing to get the best match
So have note 4 and gear s
If I leave my phone home how can I receive texts from my phone? Is that possible?
The other night I thought I turned off Bluetooth on phone, and gear and phone maintained some link through the mobile network.... Can't seem to reproduce.
Forwarding my phone to watch is easy... But doesn't help with alerts like texts.
Thanks!
When I leave my note 4 at home the watch switches to the mobile network and connects remotely to the phone.
I still get my texts and calls to the watch from my phone.
As long as you are using the Samsung message app it should link remotely and recieve texts via your Samsung account.
Thanks for the reply. Do you have to leave mobile network on the watch?
