[Q] Samsung Apps

I only had this problem recently.
When I start "Samsung Apps" it tells me there's an update. If I select update, it will download for less than 1 second before showing a message, something "parse error".
If I don't update, it will just close.
Any solutions?

[Q] Unable to update after failed OTA

I got my Prime 2 days ago and after charging and powering it up for the first time, it began downloading a firmware update. I chose to install it, the Prime rebooted, and after the android logo with moving gears, it showed an android logo with an exclamation sign.
I rebooted it and then I got a notification that said "system update failed(2): unknown error". I then attempted to manually check for a firmware update, but I got "There is no update available for your device currently".
I tried copying the ASUS update zip to a microsd, I tried draining the battery, I did multiple factory resets, and it still won't update or even find OTAs.
I also tried with the installed version again (8.8.3.33) and even that resulted in the android + exclamation symbol.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue? Or at least what could be causing it?

ICS Update showed initially but got stuck , now no update available :(

I was randomly checking my GSM RAZR MAXX for an update and it showed that ICS is available . I started the update ( around 200+MB) and it was going on for a while at it was stuck at around 23%.
I tried rebooting the phone , soft reset (power+volume down) etc and it was still getting stuck at same position.
Then i did a hard reset from within privacy settings and now it says no update available :-( your device is up to date. :crying::crying:

Bootloop after updating galaxy s6 G890A.No support single sku, kernel is not seandroid

So... I wanted to update my phone and since update from setting wasn't working even though update was available, I tried to update it manually from a xda thread, but after one of those security updates my phone started to get hot, randomly restart and go to bootloop. During restarts it sometimes shows messages like:"System software, not authorized by at&t has been found on your phone" or "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" . In recovery mode it says: "no support single sku, supported API: 3". When I try to manually update my phone or reinstall the current firmware with odin, it passes normally But when odin is done flashing and phone reboots, it starts in recovery mode and says "updating device", which fills until 32% when phone suddenly stops update installation and says "erasing". After it's done, phone reboots again and starts "normally" but with random restarts and bootloops. So I think that system problem is caused by incorrect installation of the firmware which fails at recovery mode part and I read somewhere that "erasing" problem has something to do with CSC country code which is set to USA or something(which I amn't quite sure of), but there is no available code for my country Georgia and even if it was I don't know how to modify CSC.tar.mdi before flashing. I'm quite new at this stuff, so if you have any suggestions I would be glad to hear it.

Samsung A8 (2018), (SM-A530F/DS) homescreen stuck in "phone is starting" after update

Samsung A8 (2018), (SM-A530F/DS) homescreen stuck in "phone is starting" after update
Hi guys, yesterday i did a software update for my samsung A8 (2018) phone and it was going normal until i received an error message at the end of the update. My phone continued to boot successfully but now the homescreen is always stuck in "phone is starting" message.
The phone itself works and i am able to open other apps via google playstore but the homescreen is unusable. I have tried doing cache partition wipes and factory resets, i also thought it was a soft-brick so i tried FRP hijacker with the soft-brick fixer but it just says "check connection" even though my PC successfully scanned the port of my phone. When i open my phone in recovery mode it says "firmware is not valid" at the end of the command line.
I have tried searching online for similar issues but most users have experienced bootloops which is not exactly the problem i have right now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Taken from Samsung:
Devices with Android 9 or higher will automatically enable file-based encryption if it has a PIN, pattern, or password set up. During the boot process, the phone will display "Phone is starting..." and the screen may be blank for a few seconds while encryption is taking place. However, if you feel it takes too long for your phone to start, you can disable the encryption to cut a few seconds off of the boot time.

Hi jwoegerbauer, thank you for the reply however unfortunately i don't think the "phone is starting" protocol is actually working. I only experienced this problem right after the latest software update and that was about last night, I have actually tried waiting for the phone to load up but it actually never does (even though i left my phone idle and waited for hours). I am fairly certain that it is a glitch/bug caused by the error at the end of the software update however i am not sure on what to do in such an occasion.
So as to clarify, the software update DID NOT complete as there was an error/failed message right at the end of it but while looking up in the internet i found out that apparently software updates are permanent and cannot be reverted back?
If that is the case then i am really in a pinch right now as i cannot go back to my old software version and yet the new one also does not work.
