Was thinking of ordering one of these http://splitfish.com/index.php/en/products to see if mouse style fps would be possible with games like Shadowgun but was wondering if anyone had tried it yet before I made the plunge.
Hello,
I have recently tried and succeeded to make Portal and Half Life 2 work on my OnePlus One (I can't tell how because it's illegal and against the rules of the forum I think, do your own research). The only problem is, I need the Nvidia Shield controller, or a ps3 / xbox / or any other android-supported controller, as there are no touch controls. My problem is that I don't have any controller of this type (except a Wiimote which doesn't work with Android kitkat). Here is my question : is there an app / overlay which can simulate a physical controller so I can play it without a physical controller ? I know it's quite hard, but I'm pretty desperate, as I can look at the beautiful menu screen, but am not able to control it. Does anyone have an idea ?
Thanks in advance.
Ok, so I've got this neat new Lenovo Yoga 10, got its official bt keyboard cover too, attached a cable mouse and all seems fine and dandy.
But when trying to play games (android games or ports, not emulators) they don't work as well as they should. Most annoyingly, they don't work with GTA San andreas. The moment I touch a key to move, the camera starts spinning. If I turn down the mouse sensitivity, it still spins, just slower. The only way to kinda control it is to click the cursor in the center of the screen, but once I let go the camera continues to spin in the last direction I was moving it to.
The problem seems to be that the games don't "bind" the camera to the mouse. I can still see the cursor, no matter what game I'm playing. This makes playing fps games impossible. I can still play games such as world of goo or open ttd, since they actually need a cursor.
What I'm asking is if there is a way to make these games work with my current hardware, or if I need something else, special for android gaming.
Keep in mind my tablet is not rooted, it has android 4.4.2 (so as of yet, I can't root it anyway), and my mouse is...well, some logitech generic cable mouse.
having the same problem bro
Hi guys my android device has integrated physical controls, works great for almost all games specially because of the integrated mapping tool, but some games like Implosion, lego star wars, the amazing spiderman 2 autodetect the gamepad as a different controller, the problem is the games don't recognize most of the buttons, so I can't progress because there is no option to enable the touch screen controls. So my question is does anyone know how to disable the gamepad autodetection in games so I can play them using the onscreen buttons by using the mapping tool? I have root maybe there is a way to alter the games data to disable the external controller detection? Please help
Any ideas guys? based on the times I have seen this question on the internet it appears no one knows how.
No dev knows?

Tried using tincore but it did not work.
I am root now any files I can delete? please help.
Any way to disable th system input devices?
It appears the problem arises because the builtin controller of my device is two different devices called "joystick" (the analogs) and "joykey" (the face buttons and dpad), the games only detect the joystick as the first connected device, making the face buttoms unusable. Is there any way I can merge these input devices? Or just removing "joystick"?
Solved!!!

I found a solution to this problem
For me i have seen that i was using wireless bluetooth earphone.due to bluetooth connectivity they mistaken with controller.so if you are using bluetooth earphones just dont use while playing the game otherwise they will mistake our earphone with controller.so yup thats it it worked for mr.anyway those are facing this problem mainly are andriod 10 users because i already played amazing spiderman 2 on andriod 9 and i didnt face such like problems.also if the app doesnt install on your andriod 10 try unistalling other gameloft games and find a compatible version for your phone.you can find the version on youtube or google also.here is the youtube channel name andorid Games and type amazing spiderman 2 for andriod 10.
Hi, I have a problem in using controllers (BT mouse and BT keyboard) in games that support it (DOOM III, Quake, GTA). In game my mouse instead of controlling the view is just showing a cursor. Arrows on keyboard does not control the movement but are shortcuts to control Android. I'm using stock rom 19s and tried it also in CM13. I hope you will find a solution because games are the reason I bought this phone
That's standard Android behaviour, sorry

I'm glad nice and keyboard work at all, because I like using my Androids as desktops (especially when connected to a big screen).
You could try using a gamepad, but even there support in Android is kind of half baked in my experience. USB types are often incompatible and even the brand new Microsoft Xbox controller with Bluetooth support doesn't make me all that happy.
