Can I flash an updated version Gapps over existing one? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have an older version (2 months old) Pico Gapps ARM 9.0 installed, and I would like to flash a newer version of the same Gapps. Can I flash it without having any issues?

LineageOS and modem

I've just recovered an old S6 edge (G925F) from a drawer.
I managed to install TWRP 3.2.3-0 to it.
I downloaded also latest weekly build from LineageOS site.
But I think this handset should need a refresh of the baseband modem as LineageOS is actually Oreo 8.1 while the device was running something between 5.0 and 6.0.
Where can I get the modem binary?

Have you found any solution for that so far?
I installed CyanogenMod 12.1 w/ baseband I9301IXXUAPG1 and TWRP v2.8.7.0.
A nice trip to the past...

I'm stuck in Android 7.1

Hey gus
i can't install any android version above 7.1
any trial end with failure
and i flash c droid 7.1 again
Did you update your TWRP? ROMs above 7.1 require updating recovery
Yes, you have to use twrp 3.23(there's a update to this too out now) . You must have it already since you installed nougat. If you're putting on a custom rom, don't verify it . Is your bootloader unlocked?

GSI / Treble related question

Hi Guys,
i am currently flashing different GSI to my Galaxy A20e.
Since the experimental TWRP only worked after i flashed an Adroid 9 based Stock firmware, i was until now also only able to flash Pie based GSI using TWRP.
The Q Based GSI won´t boot.
Does it make a difference wich stock FW i flashed before installing TWRP and flashing the GSI.
Is a flashed Q Stock FW required to install Q based GSI?
As far as i thought the Stock FW does not affect these parts, since i was able to flash the GSI even after breaking the installed FW..
Thanks in advance!
