So Im trying to find out if there is an easier way to connect to device wifi connection like GoPros and drones etc....
The various apps have solutions for connecting to the wifi, but it doesn't work until I:
* Go to wifi networks
* Pick a different wifi network
* Pick the device wifi again
* Wait for pop-up
* Get this screen: https://i.imgur.com/XuhYKSS.png
* Then click yes
* Go back into the app
I see there is an option to "don't ask again for this network" but that just causes it not to work at all. Like my phone is connected to the wifi but the app doesn't work until I click those pop-ups.
It happens with: yi 4k action camera, dji spark drone and green mountain grills.

I just installed the recent ICS leak and all's well so far, save for one little thing. i have an airport extreme at home, and while it appears to connect to my wifi, it's not listed on my AE's connected devices. furthermore, i still have the 4G LTE icon as well as the wifi icon. So, it seems that it's still using 4G. I've tried the wifi other places and all seems well.
Also, when i FORCE it into wifi (put in airplane mode, turn on wifi) it works fine.
Any ideas?
rats... was going to post a screen cap. i guess i have about 5 more posts to go before i can.
maybe now?

Normal status: The 3G icon is blue and show me upload/download states.
But it would be inactive many times a day like that:

3G icon tunes white and I can't access the network. The way that I can do is to Data disabled->enabled or Airplane mode or reboot.
Maybe this log file can show up sth.

I tried to do sth to connect the network since this time: 09-27 10:44:30.963
This log starts with boot.

Maybe it cannot connect the network nearby 11:08:24.637 or earlyer.
Then I redo Data Enable . It became normal.
When I connect to any WiFi AP with my phone it connects normally but when I try to download big files either from the Play Store or using the Browser the WiFi just stops sending and recieving data.

As you can see in the Image when was pain in the a** to upload the WiFi bar doesn't show data being sent or received by the arrows. This problem really annoys me for example while downloading a game from Play Store it stops somewhere in the middle then I have to go back and browse to a website which brings the connection back to life and it finishs downloading the remaining.
I'm on Archi's CM12 Weekly 9
With Boeffla Kernel Alpha 12
Is it a problem with my WiFi AP? Or any AP I connect to? Or it's a problem with the device itself?
Thanks in advance
Bump -_-
My daughter has a Moto G7 running Android 10 at college and needs to disable MAC Randomization for her wireless profile in order to connect. However, the option in the profile settings to use the device mac is completely missing. I am working with Motorola support, but they are currently telling me that they are "working with campus IT" which I don't expect to help at all. I was able to use a dialer code to bring up the wifi settings and it absolutely shows macrandomization=1.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to change that setting? I really don't want to root the phone since it goofs up many of the apps she uses and she has been using her laptop for a hotspot. But it's crazy frustrating that it would probably be just fine if I could edit the settings file to change that value.

I use WPA-3 Personal, 5.0 GHz, identification as portable hotspot.
None of the settings change anything with the issue I'm having, the issue is, that very often when I connect to the network on my PC and do any amount of traffic (send around 1mb of data), my pc shows that I disconnect from the WiFi, but phone shows that pc is still connected, trying to connect on PC back to the WiFi it just said could not connect, and only fix is keep trying changing random settings that automatically turn off/on the hotspot, it never fixes if turning it off manually, nor does restarting the phone itself. Been happening since day 1, there's a lot more weird issues but that's another few hundred words to type and they seem to not happen atm.
Want to say that, it just happened while typing that too
