Locked SM-950 F root possible? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey Dear Developers. RESPECT !
Since Im too old and when I was young the only one Commodore 64 was in the cupboard behind the glass in my elementary school , here I am with my begging for help or direction to the right way.
Long story short: My mobile had fingerprint screen lock and my girlfriend had access to it . After a fight she changed my pin code and all my log ins to google , Samsung etc and basically deleted everything. I spent here and on the net a day and my conclusion is: I have to root the phone and buy a forensic programm to get back all my notes , pictures etc (not all of these was backed up with google or samsung, because I hate the fact as they know what I had for breakfast and when my daughter been conceived.
I tried DrFone recovery, I hope I didn't because since the phone restarted I cant get in at all (safety ,at restart need pin not finger.
The phone: Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950F
android 8.0.0.
AMM STATE: Prenormal
FRP lock: ON
OEM lock: ON
and Im sure you guys know what else is there.
Question: Can I root it locked or a way to go around the lock then use some software to save my data from the past 3 years?
Any help appreciated, if necessary Im keen for a small donation for the community too.
Thank you and a Happier New Year for everybody .
Gus

Can't acces photo's on locked Galaxy S6

Hello everyone
First of all, i'm dutch so excuse me for any spelling errors etc.
I have a friend who has just had a baby.
She made photos with het Galaxy S6..
But all of a sudden her phone won't recognize her fingers and doesn't unlock.
She also doesn't know her password anymore since she never had to use that again.
I know it is possible to recover the phone but then it will also remove all the photos.
I tried connecting the phone to the computer, it shows a folder named Galaxy S6 but I can't acces it (the phone says unlock phone to view content)
My Question is, does anybody have a workaround? She only wants the photo's once they are back she can reset the phone.
You would really help her out since the baby is born in the 23rd week of pregnancy

Virus/Malware Help

Hello, My very first post and I am asking for help (sorry),
My 17 year old daughter bought me a Anson 7" 3G IPS screen Phablet / Tablet PC for my Christmas present just gone, All was going well with this tablet phone until recently when every day a new app is installing itself without me knowing, So my daughter said install and run malware bytes, Which I did and it found 7 threats it got rid of 5 by prompting me to uninstall the apps, The apps that was preloaded and come back when you do a factory reset but two still remain and cannot be got rid of, I have rooted the tablet with Kingo so that I can use Link2SD (which kind of works) Anyway that another story.
The two are:-
Android/Trojan.Downloader.Agent.ea
/system/app/service.akp
and :-
Android/Trojan.Gedma.rp
/system/app/SmsReg.akp
I've typed them out as they look on the Malware Bytes screen shot I took in hope someone will help me get rid of these threats
If I left anything out just let me know and sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place
Rob
Anyone ?
This is standard with China based devices. Nothing you can do about it really.
Anti virus apps are really pointless as none of them are made to really work with Linux and android.

Plz plz plz help ?? # bin hacked !

Hi guys , if your reading this I am very greatful , this is my cry for help . For the past year I have had one of the most stressful and agrievating times of my life . I have had a hacker in my phone for 1 year now and its got to the point now I really do not know what to do . I had 2 iPhone 6s ,one for work and one for personal . it started with fb and very quickly they where into my entire phone . In the end they got my iTunes account and password and blocked me out of my account and phone .I lost years and years worth of pictures and personal info . I lost all my contacts, work and personal ,music and email address without me having any kind of backed up . they spent arount £500 on apps in my account with in one hour . I got the phones wiped and sold them both às I didn't feel safe using them anymore . I got my first ever none iPhone mobile and bought a Samsung galaxy s8 . My eyes was opened to the world of android and Its amazing . BUT within 3/4 hours the hacker was back and in my brandnew s8 Samsung galaxy . I couldn't believe what was hàppening and still to this day they control my phone and part of my life . over time it has got worse and I have tried everything I càn think of to get them out of my phone . The phone was wiped and new firmware installed but to no affect . they opened a Playstore account in my name and spent over £1500 . all of this has cost me so much money and I am still I am in thesame position . I rooted my phone in an effort to gain some power back to help get them out and it worked for a shortime . Now they have full SuperUser rights and i am just a User. they have partitioned my internal sdcard of with written protections and locked a stock s8 ROM inside . No matter what I flash they control the phone and the Roms don't really change . All my apps record and document everything I do and store personal details I.e passward etc . They have blocked me from the Playstore and replàced it with a copy . All my apps can shut my phone down ,turn my wifi off and stop me from downloading or generally using the phone as I wish . I have no contacts nor pictures in my phone as they get removed and taken from me . From what I have seen and found over the year I think they control my phone with something to do with google chrome and at times it seems like they are broadcasting something from my phone via chrome cast . They have patch and blocked everything so that anything I install is useless . The phone is so slow and most of the time I cannot use it . Now they have blocked my SDcard so I cannot load nor flash anything what's so ever . At this moment in time i have no rom installed and with the twrp blocked to not read the SDcard I cannot do anything with it . I reàlly àm at the end of my tether and just feel beaten up and lost . I can't afford to change the phone and up to know i don't know anyone that can help me fix this problem. Someone that càn run commands and with the right technology càn fix this but I just do not have the knowledge . I love my phone but at the same time I hate it and the trouble its caused, but I do not want to just give up and change phones again . I am reaching out to anyone that would be nice enough to help me with this problem . I am willing to take help over the internet to fix this as it really can't get any worse thàn it is right know . So guys that's my story and I am just hoping that there's someone out there that can and r willing to help me . thankyou
From that what I read , I think that the "hacker" control you over the network on which you was probably connected how is on Iphone like that is on your Samsung , also what can be is that you visited some not secure sites and you didn't wiped your history where is stored your private information and that way somehow they access to your email or so or you downloaded some app and you give him right to read , write , control your phone and your privat data.

I feel like an idiot buying the SM-A215U :(

Without paying attention (because I had just broke my Galaxy S20-5G) I got a Galaxy A21 for cheap. I should have done the research but I honestly wasn't thinking. I didn't know this A21 would be stuck on Android 10. It's running the A215U1 stock rom build because I use Straight Talk, and I thought the latest stock rom for it would at least be Android 11, but it's not. I think I've gotten so used to Android 11 that being stuck on Android 10 is just really messing with my user experience.
So my question is, since Samsung doesn't seem to be releasing Android 11 for the A215U1 build, are there any custom roms with Android 11 floating around for it? I have a feeling that it's unlikely because when I finally decided to research it I've found pretty much nothing. But I figured I would come here to talk to the pros on XDA, because you guys pretty much know everything there is to know collectively.
If not, I was also given an FRP locked SM-A125 from a Telecomm friend who doesn't run any kind of MobileIron or MS InTune to be able to unlock old phones that employees turn in. The company doesn't want to invest in it, which just seems ridiculous, right?
The employee factory reset it without removing their Google account, and claims they don't remember the account email and password they created specifically for it. So the company literally just throws them away rather than deal with the process of sending them into Samsung with the proof of purchase to get them unlocked.
I've tried so hard to flash the right customization file on it to get to that service screen that allows you to remove the FRP lock, but I've been unable. I managed to do it once before for an S8+ that he gave me a couple years ago, but honestly I was trying so many different things that I can't even remember how I managed to do it. I'd at least like to have the A12 with Android 11 to use in the meantime, until (hopefully) Samsung releases Android 11 for the SM-A215U1.
It's only the screen broken on my Galaxy S21 5G, so as soon as I can get an extra $250 together I think I'll send it in to have it repaired. I just hope when I dropped it that something more than the screen didn't break internally. Anyways, even if you guys can't help, thanks for everything you all do here. Have a great weekend everybody.

I don't know much about the A21s, but I remember being able to upgrade my Samsung S4 to Android 9 back when I still had it. In all likelihood: Absolutely, you can upgrade your Samsung A21s to Android 11 - and probably even 12 with zero issues.
First two ROMs here seem to yield the results that you're looking for:
Samsung Galaxy A21s ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & O
Improve your Samsung Galaxy A21s's battery life, performance, and look by rooting it and installing a custom ROM, kernel, and more.

I have a SM-a215u that was frp locked. I spent 2 days trying various fixes, pulling my hair out, and this was only effective solution...
I wouldn't worry so much about it. Android 10 is very good as is, Android 11 doesn't really add that much except for google trying to further lock things down and make life harder for running custom things, if I had this phone I'd just be on the look out for a solid custom Rom, something like LineageOS or based off.
I own a different phone, which had Android 10 and eventually got 11, but after trying 11, I much prefered to stick to my custom Android 10 rom.
I want some option to. The A21 is really bloated. I tried to remove stuff manually, but there a lot and there was not much change. I would like to try to install plain android, but even enabling EOM is tricky. and root to...

Please help if possible

I have an old AT&T Asus 9020A tablet. I got them new years ago thru my phone plan with AT&T. It wasn’t used much and is like new still.
Anyway, I take care of my mother and she likes games and painting by numbers on her iPad but she broke it and screwed up her charging port. I want to fix this tablet up for her.
I bet it wasn’t used 2 months and was just forgotten….I looked it up and completed a factory reset on it and wiped it clean. So I was trying to set it up and get her to painting again! It’s bout to kill her not having it..lol
I was setting it up and it wants the old email associated that was used to set it up. There is no way to remember that or even get it. I asked my daughter, she don’t remember. Anyway, are there any way I can use (reset) this tablet not knowing the old email that was associated with it? Where I can fix her up for her or am I just wasting my time? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
So it is FRP locked?

It’s not locked. It reset ever And started the initial setup as if it was new. It just wants the old gmail for some reason before it will accept the new one. It lets me start in the setting up her account on it but is asking for the old email for verification….. I don’t have it and there is no way to remember it unfortunately. I know they are there to keep folks from stealing them and that’s great. But 10 years later…LOL Is this possible?
what you describe (verify device with google account) is called FRP lock (factory reset protection). this is same on most/all official android devices to render device useless on theft.
however, the unofficial by-pass methods vary for each device model/android version. search on YouTube.
