I am a new user or Amazfit Verge. So far this new gadget is working well except i notice that when incoming messages comes in, it vibrate only. There is no notification sound from it.
Is this normal? I suppose it has a speaker and mic, so notification sound should be no problem.
Any advise? Thanks!
if u connect to iphone like me then shud be no sound.

Is there anyway to disable this highly annoying message that comes up everytime I plug in my headphones?
I'm using these headphones if it makes any difference.
http://en-de.sennheiser.com/cx-270
Also not rooted but prepared to root if needed.
I've got a pair of senheisers as well, can't remember the model (don't have them with me) and i get the same thing, but i have no mic on them. I'm using a pair of u beats from the htc one s series, mic built in but this message isn't displayed when i connect them.
Sent from my LT26i
Yeah mine has no mic on it either. I have tasker set up to ask me if I want to activate wave control when I plug in my headphones.
This pop up makes it impossible to press the activate wave control option that I have set up.
Im gonna try and figure out how to remove the message
I too have the same problem with my Beats Studios, and if anyone finds a fix let me know!

There doesn't seem to be any setting in Liveware Manager to let you adjust or turn off this notification.
I just frozen "Unsupported Headset Notifier" and that notification is gone.
It's not disable-able in setting so maybe you need to root your phone.

I tried freezing it as well, but I still get the notification.
EDIT: I just needed to reboot the phone. Now the notification is gone. Thanks!
It seems, this is not a problem. Sony just want to sell more headsets. . .

This has nothing to do with Sony trying to sell more headsets. The notification only notifies the user if they connected with or without a microphone, so they know which microphone is going to be used.
The only reason some people want to get rid of the notification is because it can get quite annoying at times. For instance, when I connect the headphones, I set up Tasker to show me a menu where I can choose if I want to run either Walkman, MX Player or YouTube. With the notification enabled, I have to wait a second or two first before I can press OK, and only then I can choose the app I want to run.
Hi there,
Has any else had the problem with last number or missed call being dialed when you use the control button with the one x+
Only when listening to music with headphones
Still change even with The update..
Yes, wanted to ask the same
Using PowerAmp: one click start/stops, double click dials last call, long click open Google Now... Could not figure out how to change track until now :crying:

I'm using power amp pro but still no change, if I click next track on headphones I dial the last number in my call history,
I'm using Tiny call confirm App, this blocks the call and won't dial the number until you press yes on phone.
When I asked HTC they said it was a faulty phone but this is my second phone and still same problem,
Try using your headphones after you have received or missed a call and let' me know if your having the same problem.

So it seems the phone does not recognize a stereo headset is connected to it? It thinks it is a bluetooth device instead so when listening to music and you double tap your headset it places a call just as it would on a bluetooth device when connected? Sounds like a dumb phone, lol! Hope this isn't the case, i use jaybird bluetooth headset 5 days a week in the gym listening to music from my phone and always change tracks with double tap, answer calls, etc. Would i be effected by this when listening to music?
Never heard of this problem in a cell phone before?

Nope, it displays the headset icon, so it's correct... I have a Monster Mobile Jamz Headset with only 1 control button with this problem.
My BT headset Sony MW1 works correct, but it has single buttons for every control like forward/rewind/play/pause/volume....

Oh ok so for a device like mine it should work ok? Guess i'll find out soon enough, picking up the device tomorrow morning from ATT. What is Power Amp? Is this a 3rd party download to listen to music? What does this feature for you guys over the stock music player? Thanks

Ya I'm having the problem too I tried two of my friends hox and it worked fine on one and the other called out my fix for this as I use Google voice is have me ask each time I make a call to confirm and has worked fine like that I can't figure out what setting is on though to make one work fine and the other not
Damn this sucks. So i guess in the gym i have to pull this lunk out of my pocket whenever i want to change a track VS. the shortcut keys on my headset for which they were built for. Thanks HTC, you're always the best!!!
Do your wired headset volume rocker adjust the volume on the phone? I'm using a good pair of Bose wired headsets to listen to music and watch videos on my device and it has the controller on the headset for volume and change tracks/answer calls/ etc. When watching a Netflix video though in the Netflix App the Volume Rocker on my Bose headset does nothing, i have to manually press the volume rocker on the actual device, Wow another Fail HTC and these headphones are fully compatible with Android and Apple devices.
I hope once we can get our phones Rooted a developer can make a tool/tweak to make our headsets work they work on every other device under the sun the way they should and stupid HTC prevents for whatever reason. Really a waste to have zero control with a headset for this device.
Alright so guys! Today i updated my z2s android to 4.4.4 and.. Sadly I am shocked to see that they removed xloud option from sound settings and that they've completely changed sound settings here and there, this isn't the problem anyway, my problem is that notifications sounds are quite too low like i barely hear my phone! But whenever i play a song or whatever it's fine, apparently it only happens in notifications and alarm. I remember having the same issue when I bought this phone at first and i simply checked x loud and maxed out the equalizer thingies, in sound settings. But now as there's no xloud option there anymore, i cant do much. I hope someone can help me out! Thx in advance. Oh and my device is unrooted if that's needed to be known.

Same issue here

just as you said bro ....Its RIDICULOUSLY LOWWW!!! WE NEED this to be fixed!!!
Another ridiculous user here..
i am having the same issue, i am feeling like receiving the notification sound only from earpiece.
must be fixed soon.. annoying..
Its not really a 4.4.4 issues. Notifications with 4.4.2 had the same problems.
There might come out a sound mod or something soon. Maybe @olokos ' sound mod would still work on 4.4.4? I don't know...
-EDIT-
Yeah there is Click "here"
I don't really like the idea of using both speakers for notifications and ringers. Sony decided for a reason not to play those on the speaker that might be near your ear.
Just updated my mod!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2758189
ANC headphones are now also boosted!
I'm using RadarBeep app in my car, but because my phone is paired to the car via Bluetooth, all the sounds that RadarBeep emits (radar alerts voice notification, radar proximity beeps,...) go to a channel that I would only normally hear if I put the car audio source to bluetooth. Unfortunately I prefer to listen to radio and by doing so I can't listen to RadarBeeps alerts... until now!
So I did this small xposed module, more as a small personal project to understand how to do it .
It seems to actually work, so I share it, maybe more people have the same need .
What I did is force all the RadarBeep sounds to go through the ringer stream, so you'll need to adjust the ringer volume on your phone accordingly. You can still lower the volume of Voice / Beeps from within RadarBeep. The master volume from RadarBeep settings won't work (as it adjusts the Media volume, not the Ringer volume).
Bugs can be expected, so bear with me
Download: see thread attachements.
I would love to see a universal version of this so we can re-route all sounds but will give this a try

What do you mean all sounds? All sounds from any app?
Maybe it would be possible. I'm not an expert in this. I managed to get it working as I needed for this case, not sure I would manage what you say, it sounds much more complicated. But Who knows.
Report back on your experience with this module please. Thanks in advance.
Sorry for my late response but i have more apps that have the same function as RadarBeep so it would be cool if you could reroute all audio from any app this way.
Would it be possible to change a setting somewhere (decompile and edit/replace something?) so it would use the sms app (from marshmallow) instead and send sms notifications to the ringer stream ?

I'm confused here, I don't understand what you mean with sms here, AFAIK RadarBeep doesn't send any SMS. Or do you mean that sms notification (not related at all with RadarBeep would ring through the ringer stream? (that should be possible I guess)

Hi, sorry for the confusion, yes the last part is what i mean, i had an xposed module to have sms notification in ringer stream up to kitkat 4.4 on my S4 but after lollipop it didn't work anymore and the dev. never updated his mod (so i had to leave my s4 at kitkat firmware only for this lol)

Did they ever make one?
I have an Amazfit Verge international model A1811 running ROM 3.2.3.0.
The watch was working perfectly until yesterday when I realised that I wasn't hearing any notification sounds. I checked the sound & volume settings & nothing was muted. To confirm I had my wife call me & during the call she could hear me but I couldn't hear a single sound from the watch's speaker. The watch has never gotten wet in the circa one month I've owned it.
Apart from this the watch is a perfect replacement for my PACE & is fulfilling the purpose I bought it for ie fitness tracking.
Can any one help me figure out what is wrong with the watch before I try and see if Xiaomi Pakistan will honour the warranty of Xiaomi UAE?

When i calling to someone straight from watch i can heard it as normal call, if someone calling to me and i answering - i can't heard it, in caller phone at this moment is still ringing sound. This is probably update 3.2.3.0 issue/bug. Amazfit reported about it. As i saw Amazfit enough fast fixing problems, when was problem with double tap on screen probably update out very fast about 2 week later. So wait patience before you will do something extreme with yours watch like brining to authorized services Also try restart yours smartphone and see is any problem with Amazfit Watch app, version 2.7.2 after reboot of smartphone force closing, in screen is warning about that. Sometime restarting notifications permission and ect. Need to add it again. I already updated this app to 2.9.0 which you can find in https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/huami...ase/amazfit-watch-2-9-0-android-apk-download/ and all problems with that gone. I am sure it's issue/bug of software, so if you can straight from Amazft Watch app (i using android) report Amazfit about this problem too, coz if will be more report about this problem, Amazfit faster maybe will fix it
if all of your tests are not working, try to factory reset the watch first
Did a hard reset as soon as I noticed the problem.

This is Amazfit update issue/bug. Amazfit must to fix that with future updates
the sound bug was fixed in the latest OTA of the Verge, the cracking/distorted sound
Turned out to be an unrepairable hardware issue with the speaker. Received a replacement today & so far so good.

Probably yours problem was different as mine. I can listen music, to talk when i calling from watch to caller and others sounds is available, just when calling to me and i answering from watch i can't heard caller which still heard ringing sound. That's happen after update.
