Hard Bricked Asus Padfone S - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have a bricked Asus Padfone S with bootloader locked.
Is there anyway I can backup my data before unlocking the bootloader?
I understand that unlocking bootloader will wipe all the data.
Currently I can only access fastboot.
Recovery mode cannot be access.
I tried to flash the original recovery img, but the phone still failed to load to recovery mode.
Any idea where should I start?
Thanks

Lenovo a526 stuck at logo, bootloader locked & stock recovery installed.

Greetings, my lenovo a526 is stuck at lenovo logo.
I already tried wiping cache in stock recovery, but in wipe data/factory reset it says default data flag fail something like that.
Reboot, im still stuck
Then i tried flashing stock rom using spft it was successful yet still stuck at logo.
So I thought i should flash twrp or cwm recovery to install custom rom in sd card
I used adb fastboot. To flash those recovery because my stock recovery doesn't have "install zip in sdcard"
In fastboot,
My device is detected when i execute
Fastboot devices
"mt6582_phone --- device"
I cannot flash cwm or twrp directly because when i do it says remote partition does not support flash.
I believe i need to unlock bootloader first.
So i execute
Fastboot oem unlock
The result is 3 dots loading like forever
Now im in a dead end, i know i have to confirm it in my device but it has no display only logo.
Please, i need help. Is there any way to execute fastboot oem unlock without confirming in my device?
C'mon someone here had experience using fastboot. Any ideas guys?

Please Help! I have soft bricked my OnePlus X!!

Hi. I have had the OnePlus X for a very long time, and I have recently bricked .
Ok, here it goes :fingers-crossed:. I had a OnePlus X running CM13 with TWRP but a locked bootloader. I decided to try cyanogenmod recovery but soon realized it was terrible.
I was unable to flash img. files and the UI was unappealing to me. However at that point I was able to reboot into my ROM (CM13) with no issues. Knowing this, I thought that the only way I could get TWRP back was through a fastboot command (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img).
For me to execute that command, I needed to unlock my bootloader first, so I took all the necessary steps in the developer options settings menu. I then booted into fastboot mode and executed this command: fastboot oem unlock. This was my big mistake, as I read up after that you should not unlock bootloader on a custom recovery.
After executing this command, it booted me into recovery. I tried many times without success to wipe data and flash a rom zip via external sd card but they never worked. To make things worse, I was unable to boot up the device. Whenever I tried to power on the device, it booted straight into recovery. I am able to boot into fasboot and recovery, but that is pretty much it. Can someone please help me? I am willing to donate.
If you were able to flash the Cyanogen recovery with a locked bootloader you should be able to flash the official OPX recovery as well. You can download that from this link: https://s3.amazonaws.com/oxygenos.oneplus.net/OPX_recovery.img
Then you should be able to unlock the bootloader!
Or if @Tanner1294's doesn't help, flashing stock rom via fastboot will surely help..
PS: Don't ever flash anything on a locked bootloader.

Zenfone 2 absolutely no way to recover recovery..

I recently upgraded my phone to OFFICIAL marshmallow update that Asus provided. Upon doing so my phone's bootloader got magically locked again and when I tried to flash custom TWRP recovery via fastboot the recovery got corrupt. I tried unlocking bootloader again with the software but it isn't supported cause It's marshmallow. The recovery can't be recovered to stock version either. What do I do? I can only access fastboot and nothing else.

Boot once into custom recovery with locked bootloader

Hi all, my problem is: I have this tablet (I still don't know what's the model, but I don't think it would change much), and I should recover everything from it, but there's a lockscreen and the owner doesn't remember the password/pattern.
An easy way to do this is using adb, but I don't know if the usb debugging setting is turned on or not, so I must have a plan b.
I thought that I could boot it into a custom recovery like twrp with
Code:
fastboot boot recovery twrp.img
but I'm pretty sure it still has a locked bootloader. Is it still possible or it won't do anything?
Any suggestion is apprieciated, but remember that I can't erase all data, so no factory reset, bootloader unlocking and things like these.

OEM Unlock help

Hi, so I think I've bricked my Oneplus X!
Currently there is no OS on it but when I use fastboot it tells me the bootloader is locked and an unlock fails. It has the stock recovery bootloader which fails on format and wipe etc.
Is there any way to get it back working?!
Thanks in advance!
