How to flash:
1- Flash a treble pie rom (CAF vendor recommended.)
2- Extract 7z file and flash system.img
3- If base rom isn't permissive flash permissiver.
4- Reboot

non-lineage caf vendor needed. you can try roms like pixel experience - caf etc as vendor.

Just to warn you that the vendor ROM that worked for me on my device was CandyROM. A few others didn't work. To be honest with you I was so frustrated and almost gave up then I tried CandyROM.

Here is another modified guide which I tried successfully today:
Wipe: system, data, dalvik, cache and vendor.
Flash AOSP vendor+boot https://t.me/rn4xP/135509
Flash IMG file as 'System'
Flash Permissiver V2
Mount vendor and delete from recovery /vendor/overlay/ folder all files one by one
Reboot
I am not sure if the vendor is device specific...

Encryption and recovery steps for EMUI 8 firmware
Due to the changes of Encryption in Pie, encryption is now broken in TWRP. Unofficial TWRP will not boot with Pie roms installed.
Official recovery should work fine.
For Unofficial recoveries, wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache and flash the rom zip. For Gapps you can use BitGapps (Search on XDA) and follow those installation instructions. If you want to go back to an Oreo rom, the steps i use are flashing a GSI in fastboot and attempt to reboot into the 8.1 GSI, if it reboots, quickly hold Vol Up/Dwn while connected to PC and it'll boot into unofficial TWRP where you then perform the usual wipes and flash an 8.1 rom zip.
For Offiicial TWRP users, you must wipe /data in stock recovery and wipe everything else in TWRP, then adb sideload the zip file and gapps

Great ROM so far, but I can't select ringtones in audio settings, is it only an issue for me?
Still need a working TWRP, as the official one crashes and reboots ater 5 seconds on my BKL-L04.

Oh, okie, thanks. I dislike asking for an ETA (and most likely you won't be able to give one), but I kinda need internal storage to function and since I can't really make proper backups with TWRP switching to another ROM and switching back is rather much effort, so I'd like to avoid that

Nothing. This is for non-OOS roms that do not support the OOS Camera and is not applicable if the OOS camera is installed in your rom by default.

I tried multiple times to flash as Magisk module but always resulted in boot loop. I am on LineageOs 16, OnePlus 6. I don't have SuperSU installed, do I need it for this module to work?

I also have the same problem, but it did work previously. Looks like an update broke something.
Looking in the startup logs, it seems to not find some file. I'll try to post more exact logs later.

Hi thankyou for this port! I would love to use the oos camera on my aosip Installation.
I installed the 9.0.3 version with magisk manager. And the installation is successful. After a reboot magisk manager shows the module as active. But i have no app Icon nor a trace of an installed app. Any ideas?

Hii... Which is your current ROM ?
Btw It's magisk app issue, update to latest canary to fix safety net issue or simply use another app from play store.

Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

This is the same Rom that djchittoor made but I modified the kernel to fix the booting animation problem.
Yes, It is exactly the same build (reuploaded) just a different kernel that you can download and flash alone (through twrp flash image).
the kernel is updated and has a different display driver.
please report any new bugs if found.
I'm working on a different build for this Rom but the lineage 16 source is kinda broken and I might abandon it.

wipe system, cache and data and flash the rom
do you have ms013g or a different model?
guys I found that the old build I uploaded had a camera bug
I re-uploaded it now and it should work
just flash the boot.img if you downloaded the old build

Features
The main feature of KernelSU is it is Kernel-based. KernelSU works in kernel mode, so it can provide kernel interface we never had before. For example, we can add hardware breakpoint to any process in kernel mode; We can access physical memory of any process without anybody being aware of; We can intercept any syscall in kernel space; etc.
And also, KernelSU provides a module system via overlayfs, which allows you to load your custom plugin into system. It also provides a mechanism to modify files in /system partition.

I don't see any issue in that build, you should find the Image.gz at /gta7lite/arch/arm64/boot/Image.gz
