MIUI Nav Bar more space between buttons, is it possible? - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Is there any way to increase the distance between the navbar buttons on the Poco F1? I think they're too close and I would like them to be more apart from each other.
I have edXposed and Xiaomi.eu 9.3.14
So if anyone knows how to make them distant, I would be very pleased.
Thanks!

Anyone managed to solve this?

Display flicker + fade

When you scroll on up and down in an app or a launcher, the words or icons fade and or flicker when they move. For example, Go launcher seems to fade worse than say Nemus launcher. So the question is why and how to resolve it? Is it...
FPS?
Refresh rate?
The way a particular way an app is written?
GPU??
Anybody with some technical expertise know what the deal is with this? Anyway to rectify or diminish the issue?
There is not an issue with my phone. It's an android issue in general. Would it be possible to lock the display at a certain FPS if thats the case?
Thanks guys!

Android Auto issue

There's an issue with Android Auto and my Poco F1 running MIUI 9.6.25.0 Oreo. There are black bars on top and bottom of the display unit in my car. My question is, does it exist on Pie ROMs or MIUI 10 Pie? Can someone confirm?
Thanks in advance!

Question Is there a working DC dimming solution for POCO M4 Pro 4G?

Hi, apparently the Activity Launcher doesn't work for MIUI 13/ Android 12. At the same time, the phone use PWM and has terrible flickering, has anyone found a working solution to the problem?
Thanks!

Activity Launcher, despite the name, is not an Android launcher. It is a tool that allows you to launch and create shortcuts for hidden apps/services. It's popular because it allows modifying the "Anti-Flicker Mode" setting available in some ROMs but hidden from the Settings App.
Nova Launcher, as an Android launcher, cannot enable DC dimming. I don't think DC dimming is possible with this phone at the moment.

Thank you very much for the clarification.
It's a shame that there are no solutions to the screen flickering problem for this lovely phone. Interestingly, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11s uses the same display, but there the flicker is much less and appears below 54% brightness only, while here it is even at 100% brightness, which is terrible for the eyes...
I haven't actually observed a flickering problem. I'm on MIUI 13.0.9 (Android 11) and can't even observe it at low brightnesses. I keep my display refresh rate at 60Hz to improve battery life, I don't know if that makes a difference? It's not a hardware issue with your device is it?
Use a camera on another phone, set it to pro mode, and choose a shutter speed of about 1/500s. Now point the camera at your phone's display and start dimming it. You will see black bars running all over the display. They are not visible to the naked eye, but at the same time your brain indexes them and if you stare for a long time they will give you a headache and damage your eyes...
This is called PWM and is characteristic of AMOLED screens, which is why they put so much strain on the eyes, unlike IPS screens, where the image does not flicker at all, regardless of the brightness of the screen.
btw my phone updated to android 12, is it possible to downgrade it back to android 11 or is there no such function in the menu?
You could probably flash the old firmware through adb, you could open a new thread and see if anyone has done it?

Disable the forced Auto brightness

Hello, I'm using Miui 13 (Poco x3 Pro with Xiaomi.eu ROM) and i want to disable the Auto brightness, i already disabled the "easy" one but it still changes the screen bright if i tap the camera, despite that, the bright bar doesn't change. Anyone know how to disable it?
I already have that options disabled
There is MIUI 14 out. Dirty flash work by me. Maybe that fix the bug
It isn't fixed because it isn't a bug. It's intencional.
