Hi, sorry if this is not the right place.
Recently bought new device, made a copy of my pictures to PC and then copy them back to new device, point is that dates were changed to day of copy.
Image names contain caprure date as this img yearmonthday-numberofpicofday, for example
Img20190202-w0000001. Is the pic number one shot on february 2nd, 2019.
Is there any soft to extract dates and change capture date from image name? And capable of doing that in batch, we are talking about thounsands of images.
Before any answer, I am concern that extracting from exif is a possiblitie, but senseless for me cause exif data is gone from my images.
Tbahx in advance

Hi everyone,
Today, I just found out about M10tools, which is required to change the m10 files within Rosie.apk and others such as Idlescreen_Base.apk. (for Sense 3.0)
I just wanted to change the image that is displayed when you receive an SMS - so instead of the Giant MMS symbol, I used another image.
So I decompiled the Idlescreen_Bake.apk, decoded the images, found the MMS image in textures, edited/replaced the image with one of my own.
(note, the original image is 250x250, and the image I uploaded is 250x270)
Then saved in another location.
When I check to see if it's replaced correctly, I opened up the new Idlescreen_Base.apk, and when I get to the png image, the image is messed up - kinda like when your analog TV would be messed up on certain channels and the image is repeatedly cut.
I was wondering if it had anything to do with my not editing the original image itself. I tried scaling my image down to 250x250, which didn't work either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Short Answer: its because you didn't edit the original image file
Long Answer: I have never edited mms icons but I have made my own lock rings by editing that same file. Open the apk in m10 tools then find the texture you want to edit and right click the image of it on the right side then choose show in explorer. Right click the highlighted file and open with your image editor. I use Photoshop. Then put your new image on top of the old one and delete the original. Now for lock rings you have to rotate your image 180° and mirror it across the y-axis. I don't know if you have to do this with mms notifications. Then do file save and select PNG as the format and do not change the name of the file. Then back in m10 tools go to save apk. Then push it to /system/app
hey people,
is it possible to change the behaviour, how the software is naming photos and videos?
for example: old roms name files in this way: 2011-10-25 20.07.55.jpg
new roms name it like that: 20110929_172337.jpg
it's a bit strange that the photo of the old renaming process (the first file) was taken a month after (oct. 25th) the photo with the new renaming (sept 29th)
i can remember that i flashed on sept. 29 leomar75's revolution rom 2.7.1 xxki3, on oct. 21st the first checkrom edition xxki4.
i checked it with my dropbox account, as i got my sgs2 all files were named like the first above, just in the last time it changed. i searched the gallery and camera app, but didn't find any settings. my aim is to watch my pictures in that row i have taken them. but i copied it several times from the phone to my PC and vice-versa, so the original date was lost. now i have to sort it by the file names and all files should have the same name pattern.
concluding: how are files named on your device?
is it possible to influence sammy's naming procedure?
...or do i have to rename about 250 files manually?
The simple photo editing app Fotolr.. I edit an image, choose Save, then "Album" ...but where? If im in the file browser on sd card.. I go toFotolr\PS\FotolrPS qnd in there is the last pic I edited but labeled "1.jpg" . If I go into Fotolr and edit another pic...this last image gets deleted andreplaced by the newest one..so wtf does this thing save to?
Hi there !
I have a problem with S3 camera app.
I often take more than 1 photo/second so they are named as following :
20120728_214422.jpg
20120728_214422(0).jpg
20120728_214422(1).jpg
I have to manually rename those files to get then in the correct order...
Is there a way to change how the app is naming photos ?
Thanks !
Hello!
Just a short question, what's the difference of those two ROM.zip files you get at the end ? One file is named with version number, date, official/unofficial etc. and the other one is just named "device-ota-eng.name.zip". Both are the same size and I can't see any differences.
For example, after building a PureNexusRom I got:
"purenexus_hydrogen-7.1.2-20170716-UNOFFICIAL.zip" and "hydrogen-ota-eng.dave.zip"
