i have hboot- 1.25.0002 and use twrp v2.6.3.0 (but i try also v2.5.0.0). this recovery and the rom i used before wipe (mySensedx) works fine but now whit this new os wipe there is a problem that i can't resolve. the only difference that i understand is the failed of dalvik cache.

Try another recovery for JB or reflash the current one. Flashing works btw?
i don't know how but i resolve it, maybe the problem was the boot image of the twrp recovery. nevermind :good:

Maybe you had another kernel installed? Or you flashed the recovery / kernel to wrong partition?

[urget]optimizing App-Boot loop even after factory rom.

i flash custom rom i my friend's device then i get the boot loop.
I thought stock rom will solve the problem so i used to odin to flash the stock rom.
Stock rom was flashed successfully but again when it booted up then at optimizing app screen it reboots.
Plz help
It does not reboot to recovery. Mobile is simply restarting and boot loop occurs at "optimizing apps".

Try to reflash CWM and then wipe cache and dalvik cache to see if it boots. If it doesn't boot, try to flash another custom rom to see if it boots

Thats strange, did you flash anything else with the ROM ? Any mods etc ?
Are you sure your data, cache & system partitions are in ext4 filesystems ?
earlier i flashed blu spark kernel and converted data and cache to f2fs.
but now i installed stock recovery and flashed only stock rom nothing else.

Can you post screenshots of your data, system & cache being ext4 ?
Also, when you're flashing this ROM, dont flash anything else, Nothing at all, only this 800MB zip package.
Edit - Use TWRP for all this.

bootloop issue

hi i tryed to convert my redmi note 4x to global when flashing with mi flash tool i did it without clean and after that firmware finish installing but got stuck in bootloop now i flashed twrp and tryed to flash custom rom but again bootloop when i check my storage it shows 9gb now when its actual is 32gb i think i disturbed partitions any solution available?
Are you able to boot into TWRP?? If not flash TWRP first using fastboot.
Once you have access to TWRP boot into it and perform a full wipe (System + Data + Cache + Dalvik + Internal Storage). Perform a format too after wipe to be on the safer side. Now copy a custom ROM or MIUI ROM to your Internal Storage or SD card through a computer. Once copied install your ROM.
If you flashed custom ROM flash Gapps after flashing ROM. Reboot.
If you flashed MIUI, flash lazyflasher after that(or phone will be stuck at MI logo). Reboot.
You can find download links for lazyflasher here on XDA or you can google it too.

@ArK96 is right but the only thing i suggest is to, flash miui and lazyflasher first so as to properly set up the initial firmware, and partitioning. After miui boots properly, you can do anything you want. :highfive:

Go here and download the Global Stable worldwide release version firmware.
Boot into twrp wipe and format everything. Also after that reflash TWRP again using fastboot.
Once reflashed boot into TWRP and again perform a full wipe and format, then install the downloaded firmware zip. After that reboot TWRP and try flashing MIUI.

Yes. Red wolf is more MIUI friendly, it is made with OTA survival in mind. But your issue is that the ROM is not getting flashed. You can try what I said above about TWRP reflash, if it doesn't work you can go ahead and try redwolf. REDWOLF is nothing but modded TWRP, base code is still TWRP.

Did you flash xiaomi.eu pie rom before flashing an android pie rom?
Did you follow the installation instructions in the rom post that you tried to install?
you can always go back to miui stock downloading a fastboot rom image and using miflash
Flash stock miui 10 with mi flash and after this install miui 10 based on android p.

Try the next if one of this doesn´t result:
- Restore the vendor partition, do wipes, reboot
- Flash the firmware linked over your rom, do wipes, reboot
- Do a clean flash again, wipe cache, dalvik, system and data (if it´s important backup it before), flash the custom rom you are using, GApps, Magisk, reboot.
Report results to help others.
