UPDATE: Miraculously got through all steps of the Setup Wizard after all It's apparently not broken, but just VERY unstable... For now, it's possible to use 'adb reboot recovery' again
I don't think I can delete my post here though.

Hi!
I've got a problem trying to install Lineage:
(1) After installation, it turns out that the Google Setup Assistant, which pops up first after booting, keeps crashing, so I don't get through the setup procedure.
(2) I cannot enter the recovery mode any more! Before, the phone used to load the TWRP menu when pressing Power + Volume Up + Home. But now, it's just the wakeup screen repeating again and again...
I feel stuck: I cannot reinstall any ROM without being able to enter the recovery mode. Further, it looks to me as if it's impossible to connect the phone to the computer as long as I cannot even pass through the Setup Assistant.
My tries: Reinstalling TWRP with Heimdall. There were no error messages, but it did not help.
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (GT-I8190)
OS: Lineage 14.1 Unofficial
Recovery: TWRP 3.2.2.
How can I get out?

So recently I tried to install CM12.1, but I just installed to wrong Gapps. So when I'm in the Setup Wizard it crashes every time I tap on 'Next'.
So I just read that this issue is because of wrong gapps installation. So I want to access to Recovery Mode (TWRP) but for somehow I can't. When I do the steps to access to Recovery Mode (Volume Down + Power Button) it doesn't show anything.
Maybe when I flashed the custom ROM the TWRP just deleted.

Suddenly the Setup Wizard decided to work.
Hi, all
I was running kitkat on my tablet so I decided to flash with CM13 custom rom I used DP TOOLS to rooted my tablet after that I used Flashify to installed TWRP at that point everything were nice and happy, then I installed gapps-600-base-20151112-1-signed.zip, cm-13.0-20160604-NIGHTLY-v410.zip, BETA-SuperSU-v2.74-2-20160519174328.zip using TWRP at that point everything installed without any error, I rebooted the tablet and now its stuck to LG logo with "error boot certification verify" after pressing power and volume up button I was able to get in download mode, but DP tools doesn't recognized tablet using my PC so I'm wondering how to installed rom back again since I cant get TWRP to load and why am I get this "error boot certification verify" anyway. Any help will be very helpful. Thanks
i fixed it using these steps, Thanks
1. You will need the Stock Rooted ROM: [ROM][STOCK](V410 ONLY)KOT49I.V4101d | 4.4.2… | LG G Pad 10.1 | XDA Forums
2. Stock Recovery Image: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resi...int=file,img
[OPTIONAL]
- I downloaded the USB Driver suite so I can make sure it all connects and works, this really is optional, but I would HIGHLY suggest it!
LG Software & Firmware | LG U.S.A
- I also download this nifty tool called DP Tools by danielpinto8zz6 over at XDA. This just made it a lot easier to reboot to recovery and all that fun stuff.
[Tool][Win] DP TOOLS - Manage your LG device | LG G Pad 10.1 | XDA Forums
[MANUAL RECOVERY]
If you do not want to install the drivers and DP Tools, you can reboot to recovery using the following method:
1. Power OFF your device and unplug from USB
2. Press Vol-Down + Power and HOLD until you see the LG Logo (will only take a couple seconds)
3. Let go of the POWER button ONLY
4. Keep holding the Vol-Down, then also press Power + Vol-Up (so you should now be holding ALL 3 BUTTONS)
5. Wait for recovery mode to start and you can let go of the buttons
[THE PROCESS]
1. Copy the ROM and Recovery Image to to SD Card or Internal Storage of your device
2. Reboot to Recovery
3. Wipe, Wipe, Wipe
4. Flash the Stock Rooted ROM
5. Reboot and set up your device far enough for you to get into the Play Store and download an App
6. Download Flashify: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...llner.flashify
7. Launch the app and flash your stock recovery
8. DO NOT REBOOT YET (however, if you do reboot, it's really not an issue)
9. Open the Super User app that is already installed
10. Go into Settings and then find the In-Root (Uninstall) option and you will get a warning that Root will be removed
11. Complete the instructions on the screen and you are now back to stock
[TROUBLESHOOTING]
- If SU will not uninstall and just hangs, restart the device and try again
- If the ROM starts acting strange, Factory Restore (this did not happen to me, but happened to a friends and reset fixed it all)
Please let me know if anyone has any questions!!
Thanks!

just flash ur stock rom
Hello everyone,
I’m actually not an android developer but managed to maneuver myself in a quite tricky situation. I think I need some help from someone how has deep insights in the that topic.
Right now, I’ve got the problem that only TWRP would start if I press the power button of my Ulefone Armor 6. The Stock ROM won’t. My original goal was to restore pictures I deleted by using a recovery tool on my pc. For that reason, I tried to root the phone by using TWRP and Magisk. I performed the following steps:
- Unlocked the bootloader in the developer options and by using the command “fastboot oem unlock” on my pc.
- Installed TWRP 3.3.1 for my Phone by using the command “fastboot flash twrp.img”
- Rebooted the system in recovery mode. TWRP was installed and asking for a PW. Decryption didn’t work with the set PIN. I couldn’t find any files (installation file ) in the filesystem after clicking “Install”
- Restarted the phone in “normal mode”. The system was now in factory settings without performing anything like this on purpose. I couldn’t find any files like pictures. I thought: ****, I ****ed up! I made my situation even worse than before…
- Every time I booted the stock ROM, TWRP was gone afterwords. I could only open the stock recovery. For that reason, I installed TWRP a couple of times. When y restarted in recovery mode directly after installing TWRP it stayed.
- Then I removed the PIN in Android without any result. TWRP was still asking for a PW.
- I pressed Wipe and Format Data in TWRP. After that the PW request was gone.
- I installed Magisk V20.4 from my SD-Card by using the install button in TWRP. No error occurred.
- After rebooting, a pop up from TWRP appeared with something like: “corrupt data: you need to perform a factory reset” without any other options. So I did it.
- On the next normal reboot, no android appeared, but only TWRP by asking for a pw again.
- I pressed format data again. TWRP was not asking for the PW again.
- Now I did a backup with TWRP for the first time…
The current state is:
When I press the power button only TWRP starts. I can also use the fastboot mode. But I can not switch off the phone by pressing the power button or using the Power off command in TWRP. It will always restart.
Now my first goal is to restore a many files as I can by using any rooted ROM. Later I would like install the stock ROM again. In the process I would like not to brick my phone which is actually the one of my girlfriend… So please, what can I do?
Many thank for reading everything and for the help
If someone needs the logfile from TWRP, I can send it via PM I guess.
yo...
if your fone is like mine, and you cant take the battery out, you cant power off. you need to have the usb lead out of your machine in order to shut down, and that's in the os, if usb is plugged in, fone will reboot. By pressing power off switch, you only reset, because you are not in the os which has the turn off function. Hope this makes sense
Hi Community,
I read some posts how to fix my Problem, but i cant go to a service Point.
So I was using the Evolution X for a long Time (Installed with TWRP 3.1.0).
And now i wanted to change to the Nusantara Project (Vanilla), I did a clean Flash, everything worked i could access the System.
Than i had problems installing Play Store, so i rebooted into Recovery via the System. But now im Stuck in the Loop.
Can i Somehow connect my Phone to the PC and Reset?
Can someone tell me if i Hard/soft bricked my phone ?
Just a little advice, would be really appreciated.
Thanks a lot
Go to TWRP, wipe system, cache, data and dalvik. Now flash nusantra and whichever GApps are recommended for it (if there are no recommendations then use OpenGApps, make sure the architecture is correct). Now wipe dalvik and restart. Sometimes, certain roms begin to bootloop if you boot into the rom first, then try to install gapps later.
If you still have issues, just reflash the stock rom.
I cant access the TWRP anymore, im just stuck on the Bootloader, no matter how i turn on The Phone (Volume Up + Power ON ), (Volume Down + Power), (All 3 Buttons)
Nothing works anymore i dont understand ....
Im searching the net but i cant go to fastboot or something else, its just keeps on rebooting ...
So it's bootlooping, but you cant access recovery?
When the screen turns off, press the key combo and it should go to recovery.
Your best bet is to take it to a service centre, but if that really isn't possible for you, then wait for its battery to drain completely, then when you plug in the charger, instead of turning the phone on, press the key combo to enter the recovery. From there, wipe and flash some other OS.
I've also heard that certain versions of TWRP don't support some roms, leading to a bootloop. In that case, you'll have to use orangefox recovery to flash the rom (orangefox is flashable via twrp)
Yes its Bootlooping.
When i turn it on, on the Left Corner "Recovery Mode" blinks for one second. Than the usual Text appears:
"Orange State
Your Device has been unlocked and cant be trusted
Your Device will boot in 5 Seconds".
So after a couple of seconds (around 10-20 sec)
It turns off and immediately on again. I Just can turn it OFF when i hold all 3 Buttons.
Than i try starting it with Volume up + Power / Volume down + Power, But i cant access Recovery or TWRP.
So i should wait til the battery gets low and try it again ?
Like i said, my custom Rom (Evolutionx) and TWRP just worked fine. I dont know man ...
Well since your bootloader is unlocked, try flashing the stock rom again. Look for a tutorial and follow it.
Hi I managed to unbrick my device with this guide, and im back on a stock rom
Unbrick
i ran following commands to get to my custom rom:
I run adb reboot bootloader,
add executed following commands.
(Pitch Black recovery 3.1)
- adb reboot bootloader
- fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
-fasboot reboot recovery
It just hang up and booted after a while into the normal system.
But im not able to get to the recovery menu ?
When I restart and hold Volume up + Power, i go in a loop and the phone keeps restarting over and over again.
what have i Fu**ed up ?
Do i need another recovery tool ?
sorry guys, i appreciate your help a lot tho !
EDIT: Is my bootloader unlocked ?
I can access via "adb reboot bootloader" the phone
and on the blackscreen on the phone it is written:
oppo verfiy pass
fastboot_unlock_verify ok
Update:
So i tried some Stuff and i got Red State. No Problem i Unbricked it once again and now im on Stock Android 10.
Now im Trying to enable the bootloader again.
I downloaded the In Depth Test_Realme_6.apk but i keep getting the Error that i should update the system.
So should i update the system ?
I cant find a CURRENT Tutorial to make this work, please help...
If you cant find a tutorial for your version, why not downgrade back to a previous one if possible.
Hi there,
I might have bricked my Phone. It doesn't start, doesn't go into fastboot, doesn't go into recovery.
The only thing, that seems to work, is Flashmode.
I unplugged the battery already.
For the history:
- It ran on Carbon ROM with TWRP 3.0 (I think)
- I installed newer TWRP via recovery, seemed to install fine
- After TWRP Update it didn't start into recovery mode anymore
- Only Boot in Android was possible
- I flashed "Boot img" from the current Lineage OS *.zip#
--> Current situation, Phone doesn't go into fastboot anymore
If I connect it to the PC, i get following messege in Flashtool:
08/013/2022 08:13:15 - INFO - Device connected in flash mode
Is it possible to save the phone?
I have tried some suggestions via the search, but none worked.
Thanks.
By the way I tried several things now. When I plug it in, sometimes the Sony logo appears when "booting" but it gets stuck there. When I unplug the battery and connect it to my computer while holding Vol+, I get into Fastboot mode and can Flash twrp but when rebooting after, nothing happens (red LED comes on for a second or so)
