I have used MIUI EU beta from a long time and have had no problems at all. I recommend your to use each one yourself to find the one that suits you.

After trying all those roms plus revolution os too, I suggest you to keep on beta rom and get rid of bloatwares. And if you want to add dark mode use adb script.

Also you need to enable an additional setting under the developer options before you can use the ADB command and select the "Classic Theme" first under Themes.
Under USB Debugging find "USB Debugging (Security settings) and enable it.
Connect phone to PC and use a terminal/cmd.
Type "adb settings put night_mode_ui 2".
Then restart your phone and on reboot you'll see your device is using night mode.

For the past 6 months in poco, I am using the global beta but since they announce that they will stop the development of beta roms, I immediately unlocked my bootloader, and flash different kind of roms. Now for MIUI, just use the MIUI EU Stable. I think it will have future updates.

Good evening.
I would like to confirm the correct operation of this ROM on my Vibe K5+ A6020a46
Only problem: Cannot find right driver for ADB interface on my win7 32bits, despite USB debugging options ON, OEM enabled and fastboot enabled.

Hi. No, this is'nt an access problem.
My windows don't recognize the interface ADB in normal mode (direct connection)
It's not so bad. It's just to use, possibly, adb functions. However I arrived there using a terminal, but only in recovery mode (under TWRP). Is this normal?
Otherwise, I am extremely satisfied. I even think I'm going to adopt MIUI. :fingers-crossed:
See image !
PS: I'm waiting for the next version :good:

Hello !
1 / Of course I tested all versions of the drivers. Not everyone has recognized the ADB interface.
This is confirmed on the left screen of my previous posted image.
2 / Windows updates are complete.
3 / The problem certainly comes from my smartphone. I had it already routed, unbricked and with a Lineage 14 custom rom.
However, with actual ROM and despite the OEM enabled option, the "fastboot OEM unlock" command returns "... OEM not allowed".
4/ This remains secondary and doesn't affect the ROM. I'm just trying to understand why.
I have access to adb commands in another way.
Thank you for your help anyway.
Did you see this theme (for the drivers and not only)?

Hi @adinechin are there any bugs in the ROM? Is it rooted? Is it VoLTE enabled? And what's battery life?

Also tell if i can flash it via twrp 3.2.1.

Hi, I'll try to answer :
- bugs, I don't think so, appart from the contrast that goes back to an automatic setting after a reboot, and sometimes the phone runs slow and you have to kill some apps
- it is not rooted
- for VoLTE I don't know, I never used it
- for battery I'd say it's decent : I can last around 1,5 days with a standard use (but it's my use)

Thanks bro
I have been testing this ROM since morning and it is awesome. There are no flaws in the ROM. Battery is also great.
VoLTE is also working great. It's not rooted, i rooted it with Magisk but it doesn't pass safetynet.
The only problem is the 0% screen brightness issue. The screen goes off blank completely.
Hey @adinechin if you could fix it. It is a great rom.

Been using it for like 2-3 hours, working pretty solid till now without encountering any bug. Battery is a little off compared to xiaomi.eu but I guess maybe because it is the first charge cycle. I haven't done any gaming yet,so not sure about the heating situation. Camera also works fine.
so in short,Yes it is usable as a daily driver.

That's for phones that support bokeh mode by default.
Installed last night, all went smooth. The performance is stellar and every is working fine. Only issue I had was that somehow my TWRP recovery was overwritten by Xiaomi recovery.
Oh btw you don't need any Google installer APK you can just download the installer from the included Mi app store.
I will test out the rom today but I think I will restore my Lineage backup till the EU version is out....... the rom is great but there is way to much Chinese bloatware [emoji6]

That is what official MIUI does ...
Always have a backup of your stuff not in the phone.
I do not use the official twrp, I use this https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-note-2/development/twrpscorpio3-2-1-1tools-6blue-t3798956
So that there are no problems if you are in MIUI make a backup and before putting the rom deactivate from the mobile the device search and the account of xiaomi
once done reboot in twrp and make full wipes internal memory included and format data (if it gives montage error restart twrp again and perform again full wipes and format data) restart in twrp again and install, should not give you any problem with encryption
I do it like that and have never given me problems
and I do not overwrite the twrp either

Yeh might be but i never installed official MIUI ROMs before this one. Anyway took me 30 sec to hook up ADB and then Fastboot flash TWRP back. I rooted with Magisk and now all is perfect might even stay on this if i can tweak a few things to my liking.

This is not an easy question, because it all depends on your needs and on what you are prepared to put up with. Most of them will do a decent job - depending on your needs. For me, I have found issues with virtually every Pie ROM that I have tried - and I have tried a lot. I think you just have to try as many as possible, and see which one most meets your needs while giving you the least amount of issues. I have eventually stayed with official HavocOS - but that may not suit your purposes. And I am always extremely wary of upgrading to new releases.
PS: with the benefit of hindsight, I should have stayed with Oreo - but I have taken the Pie plunge, so that's the way it is ...

I have a simple solution :
1.Download your recovery img file
2. Keep the recovery in your phone internal storage
3. Keep the recovery in your pc too
4.Download adb setup in your pc
5. Install adb setup in your pc ( don't open after install)
6.Copy the recovery file
7. Go to your C drive and open adb
8.paste the recovery file
9. Press Shift and right click
10. Click open command window here
11. Switch off your mobile
12. Press and hold volume down and power key to go into fastboot mode
13. Now connect your phone to pc with data cable
14. Enter the code:-
(A). fastboot devices
(B) fastboot install recovery recovery.img
(C) fastboot boot recovery.img
Now your phone will boot into recovery mode
15. Swipe to allow modification
16. Press install
17. Install the recovery you kept in internal storage
Thats it...now reboot..
I personally reccommend Orangefox recovery

Dual Status Bar Mod - Poco F1

I know all of us (at least most!) hate the huge notch and the screen estate it destroys for the status bar to show complete time/notification icons.
MIUI now has a way to enable dual status bar, where date/time/icons all show in two rows instead of 1 row overflowing into the notch more often than not. I was trying to figure a way out of this for folks running non-MIUI ROMs, since I also mostly use non-MIUI ROMs and stumbled across a rather simple method.
This may need some specific ROM commits (ask your developer), but sharing this with the hope this helps a few folks.
Also, this is not the most aesthetic but functionally this wins because it creates a new option in the least!!
Step 1: Download this tool called SetEdithttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=by4a.setedit22&hl=en_IN.
Step 2: Fire up the app (it didn't ask me for root access, so assume this doesn't need root)
Step 3: In the selections on top, make sure you select "This Device" and "System Table"
Step 4: Scroll all the way down to the the entry that reads "statusbar_dual_row"
Step 5: The value against it will likely show "0". Select it, it will open a dialog box, select "Edit Value"
Step 6: Change value to 1, Save changes
Reboot, profit.
It looks like this didn't work for some. As an alternative,
1. try Adding a new setting.
2. It'll ask you for setting name. Type "statusbar_dual_row" (without inverted commas)
3. Save changes
4. Enter "1" in the next option for Value
5. Save changes
Reboot. Hope that can add a setting and it works. Just found out by more tinkering
For an example of how this looks on my screen, refer screenshot below. I managed to gt the clock and 4 different icons in 2 rows on the left side. Probably not the best implementation of dual rows, seeing as it affects only one side, but I am staying with this rather than no clock and 3 icons
PS: I am using Corvus OS (unofficial, 7.0 dated Jul 5)

Oh sorry about that. But that method works cause i am on miui 12 and that option is present there. Not sure about miui 11. And this method is exclusive to miui only and thus cannot be used on custom roms. This feature might be exclusive to china rom or maybe miui 12 exclusive, or maybe miui Eu exclusive.
hey guys, this works on MIUI for sure. For custom ROMS (like I am running Corvus), the developer needs to includes commits for the framework. I am not a technical guy, so if you let your developer know, they can cherry pick this commit or include the framework mod in the ROM, then you can enable it through the SetEdit tool

Apparently MIUI 11 has this feature, I saw it all over google, not sure if it is build specific (EU, GLobal etc) though. I am able to set this in Corvus ROM, CrDroid, Bliss etc.

Yes definitely in the 3 ROMs I tried (Corvus, CrDroid, Bliss), that is why my guess that the ROM developer needs to probably include the feature commits for us to enable it with this method
