AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Android Lollipop, the ROM has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and we are now based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the GZOSP team, if it concerns their code base. This ROM isn't GZOSP supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>

* Your warranty is now void.

* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Hard & a lot.

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look here to see what day your device is built on.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels officially?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP. Custom ROMs modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROMs. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Xposed is not yet released for Pie, however you can try to use edxposed .
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the flashing instructions...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I 'dirty flash' builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot" as the destination, then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash and reboot afterwards.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.)
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section in the AICP Extras main page.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Pie. You don't need to install any Add-ons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, and Data (you might need to format the data partition!).
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Reboot and set up your device, enable developer settings and in them OEM unlock/Advanced reboot/USB tethering.
7. Reboot back into TWRP recovery.
8. Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
9. Reboot your device.
The procedure may vary from device to device and is a bit different on system updates!
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once! This might differ on AvB Devices.
Currently supported Root Solution:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions >= 17.2 don't usually need to be flashed on every dirty flash.
Depending on the device, you may need to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise, you should be fine.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA ("Over-The-Air" Updates):
TWRP recovery is needed to be able to flash using the built-in OTA app.
Please make sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery, keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!
On encrypted devices you will have to enter your PIN/password in TWRP before the process starts.

Yes

I've been using this ROM and it's awesome! The only thing is that maybe the mic volume is too low? Is there any way to increase it?
Edit: Nevermind, I solved it by changing the Microphone Gain in kernel (Radium Kernel 4).. Thanks anyway!

After waiting from my Motorola warranty to expire I rooted my G5S last month and installed this ROM. It has breathed new life into my phone. I replaced the Motorola warning with a Motorola G5S boot logo and installed Gapps 'pico'. Everything is working smoothly and my battery life is much better. Thank you.

It's an excellent rom.
I flash this rom this morning for my moto g5s xt1799-2.
aicp_montana_r-16.1-WEEKLY-20210927.zip
montana-motog5s - Browse /AICP/AICP-16.1 at SourceForge.net
sourceforge.net
Android 11.
64bit.
VoLTE works well for my xt1799-2. China telecom. (Baseband is 75R (moto stock 8.1.0 firmware baseband).)
Lots of customization settings.
Screen recording works well when 'Record audio' turns on. (Pixel experience plus 11.0-20210723-1710 and Arrow-v10.0-montana-UNOFFICIAL-20201112-VANILLA will crash when the screen recorder turns on the 'Record audio' function.)
ZRAM 1365MB.(Can turn off by using 'Scene4' app, root needed.)
Magisk 23.0 installs and boot successfully. (Pixel experience plus 11.0-20210723-1710 will fail to boot the system after patching and flash the boot.img file.)
Call recorder works fine. Voice recorded from it is very clear. (Pixel experience plus 11.0-20210723-1710 doesn't have call recorder. The call recorder of Arrow-v10.0-20201112 sometimes can't recorder the incoming voice. The sound recorded from the call recorder of LineageOS-18.1-20230401 is very noisy. Unable to hear the talks clearly.)
Even smoother than the lineageos 18.1 (android 11).
Fringerprint works fine.
Battery is also terrible, it drains very fast even I don't use it, just as bad as the lineageos 18.1 (android 11). I think that is because of the increasing of ZRAM (1365MB) and the cpu frequency!
Compare to moto stock oreo 8.1.0 with the same settings:
After 8 days, it (moto stock oreo 8.1.0 rom) still has 20% battery. Battery won't drain if I don't use it.
But in AICP 16.1 (android 11) and lineageos 18.1 (android 11), battery is just too bad!

Do you still have this android 9 rom copy? Can you give me a link? I want to flash it. But I don't know where to find the rom to download. They just removed that from the server.

I am sorry. I no longer have a G5S. I have checked my hard drive and backup drive but seem to have deleted both the AICP and Lineage-18.1 ROM.

I have lineageos 18.1 rom, but its battery is too bad. AICP has less bugs. But I only find 16.1 rom. Battery is as bad as lineageos 18.1. I want to find the android 8.1 or 9 rom of AICP.

I can have a search and will let you know if I find anything.

Yes, android 8.1.0 or 9 would be perfect.
Android 10 is I'm not so sure. I flashed lineageos 17.1 build 20201115 last night. After 9 hours not been used, battery drains 11% (including 2% system use). It drains 7% from 9:30 to 13:00!!! I'm doing nothing to the device during that time! That build lineageos team increases ZRAM from stock 511M to 1.33G.
But not android 11 (battery in 11 is too bad.)
Lineageos 18.1 (android 11):
AICP 16.1 (android 11):
ZRAM is also 1.33G (Since it use lineageos 18.1 to build it.)
I flashed near 10 different lineageos versions last night. I'm very disappointed to know what is lineageos team going on!
The 'unable to copy any file from device to PC' bug lasts that long time without being fixed until late android 10 version, lineageos 17.1 build 20201115, which is the second from last version of lineageos 17.1!!!!!!
Dating from the first lineageos 15.1 (android 8.1.0) , through lineageos 16.0 (android 9), only in the second from last version of lineageos 17.1 (build 20201115), the bug was fixed!!!! What the h-e-l-l! Since the other third party roms also use lineageos to build their roms, they take the same bugs to their roms! Such as, crDroid, Pixel Experience Rom, AICP OS,......, all have this annoying bug!
What's worse, they deleted some useful fingerprint gestures in lineageos 17.1, such as 'screen-off: long hold fingerprint to turn on display' and 'screen-on: long hold fingerprint to turn off display'. These two gestures I've been using since lineageos 15.1 (android 8.1.0)!!! I stay in lineageos because of them! That's why I want to find the old verion of AICP roms!
Last but not least, they did something that should not be done! They increased ZRAM to 1.33G (in lineage-17.1-20201115) which makes the battery very terrible while the front camera can only be used in that version for my xt1799-2...Da*n!

Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!

A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. I keep losing root with Magisk, how do I fix it?
A. Check this out. If that doesn't work for you, ask for help in this thread, read or ask in the Magisk thread on XDA or just re-flash Magisk!
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?

Thanks for building this for our hammerhead devices.
Is there any way to disable Heads-up notifications and just stick with the ticker? It's the only thing that keeps me from switching from AICP 7.1.2 to this one
what's the name of the icon pack used??

ROM is fast and feature rich.
I love the lock screen weather, battery bar and other features... but I really miss the quick unlock
I'll test it through the day and report back on battery life, but so far I am really enjoying it!
Many thanks to the dev for a fantastic ROM!
Battery life is quite good as well! Maybe not as good as Dirty Unicorns but pretty close... And as stated above I love the features!
I hope that now people will give it a try: keep up the great work!

Love the rom, smooth and functional [emoji4]
One issue, having trouble bringing screen back on after phone has been sleeping for about 5 min or more.
Only way to get it on is double tap power for camera or hold power for reboot.
Working on logcat now. Any ideas?

Wakelock Issues
Hey thanks for bringing AICP 13.1 to Nexus 5, I´m really einjoying it on my Z2 Tablet, and this gives me the opportunity for the same experience on my Nexus 5.
I´m having issues with Battery Drain though, PowerManagerService.Wakelocks prevents Sleepmode. This is a clean flash with no apps installed, Battery drains 10% an hour without using the phone.
Anybody else got issues?
thanks
Edit: been watching wakelock issues over the day, and the rom shows 700 wakelock events an hour, basically keeping the phone partially awake constantly. this persists after a clean flash.
it´s not a phone issue either, i flashed RR now which works just fine
A little problem
No I didn't done anything that you may laugh. But the problem is after successful installation of AICP OS. I booted to system and downloaded Gapps. At first I tried to install the version of arm 8.1 full but when I flashed the zip it said insufficient storage and gave Error 70. After googleing for a while I came to know that my root directory is almost full. Only 2 hundred and something storage is available. I tried to resize the system partition with TWRP then flashed but it went vain too. Then I tried the nano version. Surprisingly this small version failed too. Should I download the arm64? Or do I have to delete the nanodroid backup? Or completely reflash the OS. I badly want to get the google service and the YouTube. I did the OS installation with full caution and there was no error (Although I used Wugfu Nexus toolkit to send the Flash file to TWRP. But that didn't made any difference in the installation.) Give me your opinion what should be done.
(Sorry for bad English)
Hi, I have a newbe question: if you want to build android for a device like Nexus5, but the vendor is only providing proprietary binaries for older versions, how would you then build newer androids? Can you let me know, how to search for this problem?

Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications and if

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, it gets built every Wednesday.
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 28.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
Make a backup of internal storage, next steps will format it.
1. Do a factory data reset from erecovery
1. Copy Rom, Gapps and Magisk (optional) to microsd or adb folder on PC
2. Install TWRP and verify if it works.
7. Flash the rom (microsd or adb sideload)
8. Flash gapps & magisk if you want root.
9. Reboot
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once! This might differ on AvB Devices.
The root solution can be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update).
Currently supported Root Solution:
Magisk stable
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA ("Over-The-Air" Updates):
To be able to flash using the built-in OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery. Keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!
On encrypted devices you will have to enter your PIN/password in TWRP before the process starts.

volte working?
I installed 03/04 yesterday and got the ota notice this morning. It updated flawlessly. Seems very smooth and noticed no issues so far. Where is the default wallpaper stored? It's a keeper.
Would it be possible to add an Always On switch for Ambient Display? This is a very convenient feature. Also, any change of omni recents in the future?
Thanks for brining us this rom.

1. The default wallpaper is in the aicp tiles app https://github.com/AICP/packages_apps_TilesWallpaper
2. Sure I disabled aod because we have an LCD display, but yeah if people want it anyway it's no hassle to add it back
3. I'll look into adding Omni recents
To confirm, this still requires Oreo and hasn't been updated to require Pie like LOS16?

Clean install of 3/13 w/full gapps this morning. Everything working smooth so far. Thanks for adding the Always On switch for Ambient Display.
Does this ROM support BKL-AL00?
Clean installed 3/20 yesterday. Running well, as per usual. Going through the battery quicker than previous versions but I just changed email clients so that may be the issue. Will monitor it.

If you're using open gapps pico the next build will fix that, or you can use nano gapps for now (turbo was removed), otherwise I'm not sure what the issue would be

I always use opengapps full. The new email client I'm trying, Nine, is all singing and dancing and could be causing the drain. I might try an install with nano just for fun to see if it makes a difference. Thanks.
The next build will require the emui pie firmware, the kernel will not be included in the rom zip so it will work on both L04 and L09

Could you explain to me, why motorola knowing that the snapdragon 615 is 64-bit, why didn't it make a 64-bit kernel?
I feel cheated.

and, is there any way to make a 64 bit kernel? @squid2 said he was going to try it, but at the time he was very busy.

LOG: http://www.mediafire.com/file/1wfqpfugd3a760f/AICP-LUX-20200904.txt/file
First, thank you very much, what I have noticed is that Lineage17.1 is more fluid than aicp, I was using the simple system monitor app and I saw that there is a lot of use of gpu being on the home screen.
I don't know why the mxp rebooted by itself 3 times.
The focus error is still present.
-Record a call with the loudspeaker activated, and the recording turned out to be like this: The audio was heard in a noisy way, and the same voice was repeated, but in low volume, that is, there were 2 voices, 1 others, the first in loud volume and the second in low volume, but they were the same voice. This does not happen in LOS17.1
-I have the problem that when I open the ES file explorer app for the second time, I can no longer access it, only its information.
Lineage camera
-Panorama photo mode does not work
-I recorded a video and played it with the system gallery, and the app does not show the video well, only a static image is seen and only the audio is heard.
FOOTEJ CAMERA 2
-Hdr mode does not work.
MOTOCAMERA
-I HAVE TAKEN 2 VIDEOS, ONE WITH THE SELFIE CAMERA AND THE OTHER WITH THE MAIN CAMERA, BOTH VIDEOS ARE SEEN WITH A DIFFERENT ORIENTATION. IT IS AN ERROR OF THE APP, IT SEEMS TO ME.
-When I RECORDED THE VIDEO WITH THE FRONT CAMERA, I TAKEN 2 PICTURES IN DARK PLACES WHILE I RECORDED, I GOT THE SAME ERROR OF THE GREEN PICTURES.
In general, I have noticed more use of cpu and gpu, both becoming 100%, in low load situations, such as playing a recorded video and without having other applications running, since I use greenify, which generates a lot of heat. .
In lineageOS 17.1 I have seen little load on the gpu and cpu.
SUMMARY:
I think you should focus on LOS17.1, or a 64bit kernel (if possible), although you did a nice job.
Hi. I installed this ROM yesterday, and it works fine. I didn't try SIM card and GPS because Moto X Play is not my daily driver device anymore.
Thank you for developing.
Thank you so much for keeping this device updated! This ROM was all I could find to get my XT1563 working again, after dropping my OnePlus 3(sad times)!
I'm almost certain I just need to replace the battery, as my lux has sat in a drawer for several years now, but I was just wondering if anyone has noticed any issues with battery drain, or the battery not charging while the device is powered off. It seems to be draining much more slowly if it sits idle, but screen-on I'm losing 1-2% every couple minutes doing nothing significant. I also left it to charge last night while powered off, and it remained at 68% until I woke up and turned it on. Just thought I would ask while I wait for my new battery to arrive, and see if going back a few weeklies might help.
Thanks so much again to all involved, if it weren't for this ROM I'd be forced to get whatever I could afford from my carrier just in order to be able to get texts and calls at all!

The less size, more smooth. I would like you use pico or nano.

I tried flashing with full package before I saw this post, and it definitely seems very laggy, so I was going to try again with nano. I used to flash full or micro years ago without issues, but that was like 1y or less after launch.
I saw in the thread for HavocOS someone saying to
"lower down your display resolution (from 1080 to 720)"
and was wondering if that might help for AICP as well. I couldn't find an option for resolution in settings and so was going to try using an old zip I have laying around from years ago that flashes DPI from TWRP, and try flashing a dpi of like 280 or so. Would you recommend this, or do you think nano gapps would be enough?
Thanks again man, this ROM really saved me!
hi, can you do something for the cam focus ??its a bit weird ??!! good rom by the way

With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and then changed to be based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
We changed again for Android Q with a base of AOSP repositories and some additions from LineageOS for device specific repositories.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out, if it concerns our code base. This ROM isn't LineageOS supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.

A. Information about Xposed, EdXposed or Riru Core can be obtained from the XPosed General forums .
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the flashing instructions...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, this is the usual behaviour on flashing a new official build by (or using) the build-in updater service.
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat AND the model name.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Q.
Google Playstore to work), GApps are already included for some a/b devices.
Magisk versions >= 20.3 don't usually need to be flashed on every dirty flash.

You can bet, under test and development for this results for at least two months
Very fluid, one of the best!
Didn't expect our device to go this far!
I just tested aicp_harpia_q-15.0-WEEKLY-20200911.zip on an XT1607.
Some good news: This is the first Android 10 based rom I've found where AT&T FreedomPop mobile data (LTE) works on my XT1607 (it connects, and setting the APN works). I tested two other recent Android 10 projects' roms from July, LOS 17.1 and AospExtended v7.3, but mobile data is broken on those (it won't connect, regardless of APN). I don't know what you guys did different, but it's good to see it working!
A WiFi bug I've found: When toggling off and on WiFi on the phone while connected to a *hidden* WiFi network, the network is not reconnected to (it shows "not in range" under Saved networks). However, even though the phone does not think the network is in range, I can tap "Connect" under Saved networks and it connects. Similarly, if the router is rebooted while the phone is connected to the hidden network, the phone will *not* reconnect to the hidden network. I have to manually connect to it under Saved networks.
Yes, using a hidden network doesn't actually help with your network security, but this is still a bug.
For comparison, reachomk's AospExtended v6.5 (Android 9) properly reconnects to the hidden network under these circumstances. And, the stock rom (Android 7.1.1) also properly reconnects. The LOS 17.1 (Android 10) build that I tested wouldn't connect to the hidden network at all, so at least yours will manually connect.
Following up, I just tested aicp_harpia_q-15.0-WEEKLY-20201127.zip, and the WiFi hidden network bug I mentioned above is fixed here. For reference, the latest LOS 17.1 still has a bug where a hidden network won't re-connect when the screen is on (not a problem here) so, hopefully, the code can translate over.
This ROM is by far, one of the bests for G4 Play!
Some minor bugs occurring, like animations. The system does not open, re-open or close recent task properly, like no one animation. Back to older windows, the same.
Another bug that I've found, is that the suspend actions doesn't work properly, too. You try to set when display's turn off, turn to 2G or 3G, and it does not occurs.
And more one thing, the LED notifications in some way drain the battery so fast! Turning off, battery works usually.
The PayPal donate link above is broken. According to the AICP website (https://www.aicp-rom.com/) the current donate link is: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/aicpromcom
i like this rom ,work well congrats but not is functional , dont work the chip 4g , i think this happen because under development , i like the kernel somefeak work with this rom
Great work, very responsive and functional. Really stoked to see this device getting such tremendous support. I did not have any problems w 4g and to my pleasant surprise I'm getting good life out of a battery I was starting to think was toast.
Judging by the response I got from someone in their Discord server, the Android 10 version is only receiving security updates. So, don't expect any broken feature to be fiixed any time soon. Like the LineageOS ROM, this project is good as dead.

Agreed. I guess it all depends on which bugs matter to you, the ones in LOS or the ones in AICP. I did notice that they have AICP 16.1 builds for harpia now. I'll have to test that.
Just tested aicp_harpia_r-16.1-WEEKLY-20210521.zip. I'm seeing crashing of Settings when trying to search settings. It's not completely predictable (sometimes it crashes, and sometimes it doesn't). I'm also seeing that Hidden SSID auto-connect bug again (mentioned back in September) where WiFi won't auto-connect to a hidden network while the screen is on. This would seem to be a regression, since I believe it was working in aicp_harpia_q-15.0-WEEKLY-20201127.zip.

Eh, wifi works here, please review your setup. About ui, I'm doing the possible to enhance, not that easy in a dead platform as our arm 32
I flashed the aicp 16.0 ROM and openGapps 11.0 beta three days ago, and for now it run very fine, but the battery draining fast and have some lag.
This ROM for me now has random freezing and lagging moments. There are point where the phone will even hang for a few seconds. A lot of features are also incomplete or have half implementations, like the gesture navigation, which works fine on 17.1 but not on this ROM.

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android 11.
Magisk canary
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA ("Over-The-Air" Updates):
TWRP recovery is needed to be able to flash using the built-in OTA app.
Please make sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery, keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!
On encrypted devices you will have to enter your PIN/password in TWRP before the process starts.

here we go....
We worked hard the last days to bring Android 11 aka R on this phone.
Currently more or less all is working so far
We put also a compatible GAPPS-Package on the server - see OP.
This build is a first test-build AICP-Extras are missing so far.
Enjoy!

Great job.
WOW, Thank you all. Installed and tested. It is stable and the speed of installing apks is much faster than Android 10.
No ETA and I can wait for it.
Huge thanks to you and your Team Claymore, you're best
That is great Jullian, thank you very much. It is installed with no problems at all. I had to install Magisk-21 to get it rooted. So far, it seems that all my user apps are working without problems. Thank you & team again, keep the great work.
Kudos to you guys for your hard work
Magisk Canary Channel thread was closed, any other root suggestions?
Hello Great developers,
I just found out that all applications that requires location are not successful to acquire it. I am sure you will find a solution.
Ta.

I installed this ROM in Himaul M9 and i have few question about it for creators
1. I cannot install Magisk .zip (Magisk-v20.4(20400)) when i trying install it from recovery 3.4.0.0 everything is good but after restart magisk still show me only problems with correct install .
Second install try is magisk app menu and donload/choice a file to install it the android system is trimmed earlier, it does not look like the original A11 release from google - there is none of the novelties announced by G in it, it is not polished enough so that version 15.0 is a fully satisfactory system. Magisk safety test: Failed -basicintegrity - 0 , cts profile- 0, evalType BASIC.
2.The setting menu in the gallery - black screen does not work.
Phone security - crash when selected from the menu.
Gaaps does not contain basic applications, you have to install them separately.
The camera is only an empty shell of this function and is useless.
@Claymore1297, hello and thanks for your work for hima! In Android 11 I have same issue I had in 10 (both AICP and LOS). When anyone calls on my M9, person who calls hear echo of him/herself. I haven't seen any person who wrote about such issue. Stock rom is fine. Maybe you could write any suggestions how to fix this. I may take a log but not sure if it will help. Thanks!

I have repeatedly written about such a problem, and the problem is not in the microphone, since the problem is both mine and my daughter's, and everything is fine on the stock firmware. Ось такі от справи
