[Mate 10 lite]Problem when connecting multiple BT devices. - Huawei Mate 10 Questions & Answers

Hello. For some time i've been using smart bracelets (atm MiBand4 with BT 5.0). Now i decided to buy BT headphones for more comfortable running. And thats when problems started. When i am listening to music throu these headphones, they randomly loose connection (mostly for like 1s every 3-4 minutes, but can go up to 1s every 30s and thats quite annoying). Also bracelet doesnt connect to phone correctly and while i run 4km, it records like half of that. On the other hand, i can still operate music player with bracelet without interrupting music. So i am really confused.
Is there something i can do with that? Headphones and bracelet have BT 5.0, phone is BT 4.1. From what i researched this old BT doesnt support proper connection to multiple devices, but also read that it should be fine. Where is the truth?

[Q] Bluetooth A2DP Problem

I had posted about this a couple of months ago but decided to put it on a back burner and work on some other things.
Here is my problem. I am connecting to the wifi at work and also have a Creative D100 A2DP speaker that I use for listening to music. I use Pandora and also an app called Gizmo which allows me to stream music from my home computer. I can connect to the speaker and it will play for a while and then drop the bluetooth connection to the speaker. Sometimes it plays one song sometimes many then just disconnects. I can go into settings and reconnect and it will do the same thing.
I have tried this with TNT Lite, Vegan, TTx, and now Calkulins rom. They all do the same thing.
Anyone have any idea how I can keep the bluetooth connection alive? The speaker is A2DP only. It will not autoconnect like a BT headset will, I have to manually connect it. I can do the same with my Iphone and the connection will stay on all day.
Thanks for any tips anyone may have.
Not too sure if this is relevant, but I have been having a similar problem with my Bluetooth but with a different device. I connect up to a BT keyboard (apple), but I get disconnected after a minute or two. Looks like we might have a problem with our BT.
I finally exchanged mine thinking it might be a hardware problem but the new one does the same thing. It annoying as hell!

[Q] Problem with Bluetooth phone

Hello all,
I am having a problem getting the phone part of my new DNA to work with blue-tooth in my car. The A2DP works great but after I answer or make a phone call with my Car Stereo (eclipse 3200) I cant hear anything and they cant hear me. If I use the dial-pad on the phone to make a call I hear the tones from the button pushes but nothing after the call is connected.
Thanks for any help or suggestions

I have a Sony bluetooth player in my car and it will not even recognize the device.
Edit: It was a user error on my part. I have successfully paired and it works flawless.

My car recognizes and pairs with the DNA, but it will only play the first 1-2 seconds of music, then the radio stops receiving any audio. Sometimes it works properly and will play songs completely, but the majority of the time, it will cut out. I can pause and unpause it, and I'll get 1-2 seconds of music, then it stops again.
Also, any high pitched sounds (ie. cymbals, percussion, etc.) are very distorted. I had this same issue on the Thunderbolt The Galaxy Nexus I had for the past year had no issues and sounded perfect over bluetooth.
I am disappoint.

I think the phone just has bluetooth problems in general, or BT4 is just not 100% backwards compatible. I have a Pioneer stereo, and never had any problems with any of my android devices (OG Droid, Droid X, inc2 and gNex) connecting, but when I connect my DNA, it actually crashes the phone process on the handset and it restarts (the process, not the handset). It still appears to be connected to the stereo after that, but I haven't tried making a call yet.
Stereo doesn't support BT streaming, so I can't test that. Has an SD slot, and that's all I ever use.
I'm having the same problem. My music will play for about 3 seconds, then goes silent. The car says I'm still connected, Google Music is still playing, but it mutes out. Was having fun while driving hitting the pause/play button to listen to a song 3 seconds at a time. Does anyone know if this is a OS problem, hardware problem or incompatibility, or other problem? I didn't see many posts about this elsewhere and haven't heard back from Verizon.

Working fine for me with my Kenwood. Music does skip occasionally, but my other phones (galaxy nexus, thunderbolt) have done that too.

For all of us who suffer a HTC Toyota combo and the dreaded bluetooth pause issue I believe I have found the issue and got a working solution !
From what I gather, the HTC music player sets the bluetooth player state to pause when leaving the music player and most other apps do not set it back to streaming. I found one which does, so a simple solution !
1. Start and stop a piece of music with the Fplay music player and it will reset the bluetooth player state to streaming. I put a widget on the home screen.
2. Start your other apps and enjoy streaming sound again.
3. Enjoy

Issues with Bluetooth?

So I have a Ford Edge with a bluetooth receiver where I can play music, as well as some headphones, and I'm having intermittent issues when using this type of playback. The issue doesn't occur with my partner's Note 5, does anybody have any issues with stereo bluetooth? I'm close to writing to LG about it so they can log with (possibly) other reports for the same issue.

Just today i had issues with mine, i have one the parrot devices on my car and it picks up my iphone right away but i tried for about 2 minutes to play music from my v10 and it wouldn't connect to it, someones it connect right away its very off and on. I didn't try to unpair it and re-pair it though.
Am I reading that right, are both BT devices trying to connect at the same time? If so I had sorta the same problem in my Audi. I sometimes had to toggle Bluetooth on and off to get it to reconnect. But what I did was go into the Bluetooth settings for each device and specifically select the profile I want to use for that device. So for Audi MMI, which handles the phone calls, I selected the profile "Call Audio" only. Then for my headphones I selected the "Media Audio" profile only. I just figured that if two BT devices are fighting for the same profile only one is going to win it. And it seemed like it was a toss up which one got the call or media profile first.

No, you are not . However, allow me to clarify that the devices I mentioned are having issues on their own when using the V10. One incident is with my car's stereo, if I'm lucky, the audio will hold or it will decide to be a douche and start getting choppy with 1 second gaps.
Also, I'm noticing with the WiFi that my signal is horrible, but my partner's Note5 is perfect and super quick. I really really like this phone, but these issues are a bit annoying.
I have problems with my car stereo too. When I get in the car, it will connect automatically and start playing like normal but only for a minute or two. Then bluetooth will disconnect. So, I turn bluetooth off and on and, it will stay connected after that.
I also have a bose bluetooth speaker which doesnt have any problems.
I just found this thread after posting to the rom thread I am using...
I am having a minor annoyance with Bluetooth and media streaming.
When the phone auto pairs to my cars stereo head unit (Kenwood KDC-BT762HD), system sounds/calls etc come through the car fine, but not Media like music, videos etc.
Phones says it is paired to Media and the head unit does show the song info and I can control the app via hardware buttons on the unit, the phone acts as if it is playing, but no sound is heard. I have to turn bluetooth off then on or re-pair and then it works fine. I thought it was just the music app I use, but its any apps that play media like music or videos, including Pandora and Youtube.
I have 4 varying bluetooth headphones and they auto- reconnect to the phone just fine with no issues.
Anyone else having a an issue like this with any of their car stereos? My G3 never did this.
Known issue

This is a fairly known issue to specific cars.
check here http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-v10/664713-lg-v10-bluetooth-audio-not-working-2.html
Also, I have a gmc canyon 2015. I have the same issue. I stopped using my car's bluetooth , I now only use aux cable. Amazing in 2016 and I still have to use aux cable. I am looking to moving to one plus 3 because of this issue. marshmallow also brought gps bugs on top of the bluetooth one.

I don't think its a MM issue or a vehicle specific issue (and i have an aftermarket stereo head unit) I have not had this issue with any of my other MM (or LP)devices I have tried with the radio. I have a spare LG G3 and a Moto X Pure that is running MM that is running MM and many of the mods and same apps I use on my G3 and now V10, again, no BT issues.
I am not having any disconnect or not pairing issues at all....just the odd thing that the media sounds don't work unless i disconnect/then connect the phone to the head unit when I get back into the car and power up and it auto pairs.
My folks have a much more serious issue with their 2015 Ford Escape and Ford Sync and their Samsung S4's they both have. Phone pairs and works fine once, but then the mic acts like its muted, no one can hear u, even if u un-pair the phone from the car, the phone itslef no longer outputs sound at all. You have to reboot the phone in order to get it to work again. It did it when the phones were on Android L and still after the MM update. Web search finds many folks with same issues in regards to that issue. (which is not the issue i am having at all, infact, their phones work fine on my car).
I found a work around for my issue. Since i simply just needed to disconnect and reconnect the BT to my car's head unit, found a widget that does just that. A2DP Connect2. Car auto pairs, i tap widget once, disconnects, wait a few sec, tap again, connects, my media streaming now works fine.
Still a annoyance, but much better than having to navigate menus and such.
BT issues fixed with update to 20j.
I can confirm that the annoying Bluetooth media stream issue in 20e, where you had to re-connect the phone or no media stream....is fixed in 20j. Auto connect works perfectly every time now on my Kenwood head unit.

AI problems?

Does anyone noticed that the AI makes phone to act unexpected?
For example my bt earbuds, speaker gets connected/disconnected for no reason sometimes .. for example I go to smoke at work, bt speaker stays at workplace, coming back, connecting my phone to speaker, starting to work and suddenly after some time music just stops. I see I'm connected to a speaker in Bluetooth settings, but once I start music again, music is playing thru the phone speaker instead. And I have to reconnect to a speaker again.. and it continues like that till I reboot my phone..
If I plug in fabric earphones which comes with phone, sometimes automatically music is started, sometimes after couple minutes, sometimes never.
Call recording apps/and overall all apps are killed without a reason even excluded from all battery optimations/savers.
Also never knew that I have so many different songs after trying different music player, have anyone noticed that also?
In my case I have about 200 songs in my library, but with default music player, it seemed that I have like 20songs only.. always listening on shuffle mode.

BT Issues during calls

Hi Guys,
My S9+ has some really weird Bluetooth issues during phone calls. Sometimes, the person on the other end sounds robotic (like a Dalek) but if I switch to speaker phone and back to BT it is fine. Other times, I get the most horrendous noise after a few minutes on the phone and again this disappears when I switch to speaker phone and back to BT.
I use Bose BT headphones, this does not happen with other devices. I’ve done multiple software updates etc and I’m at a loss as it is really frustrating! Does anybody have any ideas?
Currently running latest Pie firmwire but has been same since new.
Kind Regards,
Chris
When I listen music (Spotify or Youtube music), it get glitches if I use BT, but if I connect the wire I can listen without problems.
It's a Sennheiser 4.50BT
