Wifi Calling on Cricket Wireless? - LG V30 Questions & Answers

Anybody using Wi-Fi Calling on Cricket Wireless? It worked for a few hours and now it doesn't. Cricket support says I need a Cricket phone only. Am I screwed?
I'm using a Verizon VS996 Frankenstein to ATT 20h.
Anybody else have it working with Cricket?View attachment 4823877

Does Photon 4G work with H2o wireless?

I know that our phones are blocked domestically, but maybe Sprint forgot to block this Prepaid GSM carrier?

They use AT&T towers, so I'm interested to see if this would work.

if it uses att towers I highly doubt it won't be blocked.

I believe the frequencies are blocked so it would be a no go.

I'm currently trying it out. I bought the AT&T compatible sim from their website, and got the APN settings directly from them. Everything seems to work ok.
From what I have read you can get HSPA+ but not LTE when using the AT&T SIM on straight talk with the verizon note 2. Also in 4.3 there is no need to root to update the APN. Otherwise it works fine.
I was thinking about switching but after doing the math my verizon ETF eats all but $40 of the savings over the next 8 months until my contract ends. Will check it out again come September.

Correct. Our phones do have have the AT&T LTE bands. And actually being able to edit APN's was opened up on 4.1.2 without rooting but the thought is still correct.

Using T-Mobile WiFi calling feature?

So I am currently using my VZW G3 on T-Mo. Anyone know of a way to get WiFi calling and messaging enabled on this. Maybe flash the calls apk from a t-mo ROM? Anyone have any ideas or success doing this? Oh and I'm only using t-mo on a VZW G3 till I can buy the t-mo variant.

I have never heard of anyone being able to get that to work, without a T-Mobile phone and post-pay sim. I just use Google Voice, now, whether I am running with my Verizon sim or my T-Mobile prepay sim. The Cricket sim is unlimited voice, but most people call me on Google Voice now anyway. Rings all my phones and my tablets too.

Has anyone been able to figure this out?

Use Verizon G3 on ATT?

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Yes. It is, and you will get LTE if ATT is using band4 in your area. H+ otherwise, or lower, depending on what ATT is using locally for you.
Procedure is simple. Turn off phone, pull Verizon sim, put in ATT or cricket sim, restart phone, add APN entry, switch to appropriate data mode.
All these steps are detailed elsewhere on XDA.

T-Mobile LG V10 (LG-H901) on Verizon/Page Plus network

I have seen many threads on the Verizon V10*(LG- VS990) working or not working on T-Mobile network, but I need to know if my LG-H901 will work well or even better on Verizon/Page Plus network ? Will I have LTE data, will I have HD calling will my Hotspot work, etc? Will someone please shine some light on this for me?

No. Verizon is CDMA. H901 is GSM only.
