Not a correct CSC code -

Hi,
I live in belgium but i have bought a galaxy S2 from a store with a CSC code that is not for my country ,
Its the code LUX, and i am in belgium, the codes for belgium are : BAE,BSE,PRO,XEB
is this normal and what kind of problems can occur?
Thanx
You can check/change the CSC with: *#272*{IMEI}#
where the {IMEI} value represents the 15 digits of your IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity).
Personally, I use KOR and my phone works perfect.
change csc dont work
Hey,
I used the code yesterday, and says only LUX.
Flash a CSC if you have to from.

I just wanna now what problems i can have with this wrong csc code,
Yes i know i can flash it. But if i buy somthing from a store in my country.
It needs to be with the correct code otherwise the store needs to give me a correct phone.
So the first problem i think i have i need to wait to luxembourg for the update, not the belgium update?
Any other problems that can occur?

From few to none .

You will have to take it up with the seller but one presumes they would sell the correct model .
So the first problem i think i have i need to wait to luxembourg for the update, not the belgium update?
CSC will have nothing to do with update that comes from the product code .
CSC contains a number of text files that have the varying network details and configurations .CSC is not required for phone to work if network details are entered manually .

[Q] *#1234# PDA Phone CSC

When we hit *#1234# we get the 3 different info.
My question is what does PDA, Phone and CSC stands for? Version for what? What is the significance?
PDA - ROM version
(This is suppose to be a code that tells you what version Android)
Phone - Modem Firmware
(This is suppose to tell you what modem firmware your phone has)
CSC - Region Zone
(This tells you what country the phone is for, including software bundle)
And if i changed the CSC is it going to change any signal preformance !? Or anything !?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
Csc contains the fata settings for the internet.
If you chamge it yo a different region, your internet may not work properly or at all.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
thats what i hear everyone says, but i never had to enter my apn's they always work out of the box, when i flash any stock rom of any region. thus i never cared of CSC.
I don't get it.
I have an argentinian phone.
And I had flashed the CheckROM... Now I have OXAKI4, and everything works OK.
Should I do anything?
Hey,
I am trying to find the appropriate firmware to flash back to stock, but I'm not sure which one to use. What do I base my decision on, the PDA, PHONE, or CSC?
This is the info I get when I hit *#1234#
PDA: I9100XWKL1
PHONE: I9100MUGKG2
CSC: I9100XAKL1
Build Info: Tue Dec 13....
I'm guessing I go by the PDA version, but doesn't the CSC and PHONE also have to match the firmware version as well?

[Q] Bought used GT-I9100P - Problem with Firmware?

I have just bought a used O2 I9100P, O2 UK model.
When I connect with kies to update from GB 2.3.5 I get:
"your device does not support software upgrading via kies"
Anyone else had this problem?
My device is identified on Kies as... PDA:KJ4 PHONE:KI3 CSC:KJ2 (XXX)
On device info:
PDA : I9100PXXKJ4
PHONE : I9100PXXKI3
CSC : I9100PO2UKJ2
Further to this when I enter *2767*4387264636#
I get:
SELLOUT SMS
[1]Sellout SMS: OFF
[2]PCode:Not Active
[3]Moderod
I also have noticed the imei on about phone does not match the sticker inside the phone.
The phone seems to not be rooted. Could the previous owner have flashed a rom which changed the IMEI? I have no experience with rooting and flashing.
Any help with getting this phone back to stock GB or ICS and the correct IMEI would be greatly appreciated.

Take out the battery. The sticker on the backside of the phone should give you correct model no.
I have a I9100P and mine says that, on the sticker along with IMEI No & serial No.
Does the IMEI No match your phone," dial *#06#

The IMEI on the sticker inside the phone does not match the one that comes up when I dial *#06#
Also the IMEI appearing on screen is not the standard 004999010640000.
The one on screen ends 787 the one on the box ends 777.
Sound like your imei is corrupted.

If I flashed the official I9100P O2 ICS ROM using Odin, would my phone be fixed in terms of being able to recieve future updates from Kies or OTA?
Someone also had mentioned checking the boot display to see if I9100P or I9100 appears and it does appear as I9100P - see attached.
Thanks again.

yes you will be able to recieve updates from kies.
I have the Orange I9100P and yes thats what you get on the boot display, however if you flash the old bootloader, you will just get I9100 displayed instead. You will stll have all the NFC funtions though.
here is the 02 latest i9100p ICS firmware.

[Q] Original Firmware of the Phone

How can I find out what was my original firmware when I bought the phone. I flashed MG4, the latest one for S3 but KIES claims that my current firmware version is not supported to update via KIES. I saw somewhere that you can restore it with the help of S/N but can't understand how.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
GT-I9300 and your country. If you had unbranded version then it's unbranded, if not select proper branded one.
There's no other way to determine what you have, especially if you overwrited bootloader with other pure-stock flashed via Odin.

you can find it via kies.. for that :
1. switch off your phone, pullup the battery and note the serial no.(no mistake should be made)
1. Open kies and than go to Tools>>Firmware Upgrade and Initialization in kies.( you don't even have to connect your phone to do this)
2. Enter the model no as: GT-I9300 (no mistake should be made, everything should be in capital letters, you can copy this one)
3. It will ask you for S/N (serial no.), enter the one you noted in first step.
Thats it, it will tell you the CSC code(country code) and other informations(i have attached screenshot of mine), the one inside bracket like in my screenshot TTT is the country code. Than you can check in Sammobile for the the firmware and find out the original firmware which was when you bought the phone.

I tried it. But it still gave me MG4 CSC, PHONE and PDA. After flashing it I got LaFleur boot logos and LaFleur wallpapers. That's strange since my phone is not White but Grey.

So did you checked for country code in sammobile, what older firmware are listed there?
My country isn't listed there somehow. As I remember when I connected my device via kies the day I bought it the csc was BTU or something that starts with B. Tho PDA was different.
Can't find my country there. Also my phone is Unbranded
Why don't you try flashing the MG4 one from kies, maybe it detects then... and can you tell your CSC code??

This is what I get after entering my S / N.

Check my product code is GT-I9300TADCOA , It's Tele2 from Croatia and I bought the phone from Tele2. So it think that's it.
- EDIT -
No use, still not recognized in Kies. Also the TELE2 firmware from Croatia (GT-I9300RWATWO) is a mismatch to mine GT-I93000TADCOA. And I can't find SEB firmware at Sammobile. Could you link it to me?

I've tried to use the latest firmware 4.3 but so many options, eg Vietnam, Austria, Australia, whereas I do not know which firmware I should use, but behind the I9300T handset written in vietnam and if I check using apps in my playstore i9300T Australia, which one should I choose? on I9300T I have installed the default application named Vodafone, do I need to install the Australian version of Vodafone? before I tried but still failed but the type of firmware installed in my device, I do not know for the safe area because I download from the site outside sammobile.com

Download this GT-I9300T Vodafone firmware & follow the instructions in the page: https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=15FAD4211EE911E6949E0CC47A44B7B2
No need to unlock as it already is with that firmware.
Did you confirm the model # in download mode? Apps do not always provide the correct information.
sorry i want to ask? because i have never used samsung, by updating firmware can imei and baseband i appear again?
Yes, flashing the latest stock ROM can sometimes restore the imei and baseband.
