Well, the magic ball also is missing some firmware updates, so it might not be very accurate! [emoji14]

In december hopefully android 9/pie
to mine comes nothing, it seems huawei does not have this as a priority although so many phones already have it and with more features on them like samsung

We'll see Android P (9) long before Samsung so
Don't count on it at least on US version. Huawei isn't really supporting this model, hence the rare updates. Maybe the 20 will get more attention.

A real damn shame Huawei are not supporting the Mate 10 better.
It seems the P20 has gotten most of the attention and they are focusing more on that. I take
it the P20 sold more than the Mate 10 series line.
IMO Huawei never really supported the Mate 10 series great.

Mate 10 is getting more support than Mate 9. Same region.
Used to get security updates every 3 to 4 months, now every month.
Got no new features on Mate 9 until Oreo arrived in January 2018, Mate 10 has received face unlock and updated night shot (with 8.1, 960 fps slow mo, new camera UI, GPU Turbo etc promised).
Support is DEFINITELY better this time round.

I agree, nothin to complain about in general. The region delays are a problem though because it seems like it could be avoided easily.

Okay my friend and thanks.
Honestly, I don't think my NXT-L29 will get it. I like Huawei better than Samsung but I bought a Note 9 even though I wanted Mate 10 Pro purely because Huawei is so ****ty with North American updates.

I went from the mate 8 to the mate 10 pro and the update schedule has been okay for the most part. But I have the global variant bla l29. I have been very impressed with the face unlock update and I've recieved the gpu turbo update but since I don't play games much on my phone I haven't taken advantage of it. The night shot update with AI stabilisation is very impressive too.
Huawei have gotten better with software updates for the most part especially when it comes to bringing new features but the update schedule is unpredictable. Atm I have recieved the September patch while my mate 8 hasn't updated in quite a few months and always took ages for updates.
Hi still not available for rom oreo not come

As far as I know yes. I have read people using it on the emui9 Beta.
Emui 9 official build is available in firmware finder for c636 and fh. Soon it will be available for other regions.

Wow im happy about this feature available to Mate 10 Pro.
Do we know how well it works?
There is an article about this on Reddit. Can't copy link though 'cuz I'm new here.
Read the comments too that guy might be right I'm afraid.

I'm fully aware of that and all the other tech articles about this.
They are not true.
They are all based on a single picture released by Huawei. Journalistic misinterpretation or corporate misrepresentation - call it whatever you want, but you aren't getting EMUI 9 today or any time soon.
What really is happening is a roll-out of the final code of the Chinese build of EMUI 9 to the current members of the closed beta test. No final public roll-out, certainly no international roll-out of any kind today.
EMUI 9 is coming, it'll come to you. If you're lucky by the end of the year, but there's a decent possiblity of will come later than that.

BLA.-L09
Still on EMUI 8.0
ALP-L29 C185 still on EMUI 8.0
I would never buy Huawei anymore.
C'mon , people! The Update would be received by mid December. Which other phones received it, other than the ones that are by default with Android 9?
Or you expect the moment the update is uploaded to the server in a blink of an eye to get it?
Things ain't work this way.
In the Huawei Firmware Finder now...

True, but when I compare how One Plus developers work, it's a shame for Huawei team.
Will the ARCore apps work with EMUI 9 ?
Huawei P20 Pro. No EMUI 9.0 yet. I was under the impression that it was a global launch on 10 November.

Dunno where you get your information from but they never said that. There is no official release date.
It looks like Huawei will be hard hit by US Sanctions.
I guess my carrier won't hold the Mate 30 Pro so this will be my last Huawei device. I will either get a Sony device or the Pixel 4 XL. Time will show but Huawei is unfortunately out of the question. Most carriers won't risk holding Huawei devices

That doesn't mean the trade war is over, last month the US government granted Huawei a special license to work with Google to provide updates to existing phones. Kirin 980 devices like the Mate 20 and P30 series will still receive Android Q because of this special license. Any future Huawei phones are still banned from using Google services though.

Hi, I think many differences between them, such as features, specifications. More detail, you can refer to this link https://consumer.huawei.com/en/phones/
