I want to flash miui 9 using miflash. Doing that would update the bootloader as well. After that if I flash miui 8 via miflash, that's gonna downgrade the bootloader. Will that brick the device?
I'm asking this because I had Motorola phones before which I had bricked by downgrading bootloader when I downgraded the operating systems.

Device is already unlocked, I just wanna know whether downgrading bootloader by flashing older miui version can brick the device or not because on motorola phones, device instantly hard bricks on downgrading bootloader.
No my mi 5 downgraded from noughat to marshmellow without problem

Try to use Chamalephon App, of course, you need to have root access on your ROM for using it.
I used that app on Mediatek, I don't know if it will work on SnapDragon.
