Hello!
I was using NitrogenOS rom for almost a year, currently I don't have the time to be flashing, restoring apps and testing all the time and the rom was very good so I kept it until now. A year later and the curiosity for testing the droid 10 made me download HavocOS and EvolutionX, both great but they don't have (or I didn't find) an option to hide the notch. By hidding I don't mean to have a black bar over it and then the notification bar below it, I mean to have the notification bar still there but to keep the background black all the time (during apps, during lock screen, during launcher, etc). This existed in good old NitrogenOS and I got so used to it that I'll go back to the rom if it doesn't exist in any current rom. Mind sharing your insight fellow testers?

Evervolv flashed without any difficulty for me yesterday. I've yet to discover any problems with this rom. I also used Rascarlo's gapps to minimize the Google apps installation package. Adobe flash is also working without problems for my NWS radar site. This ROM will probably become my daily driver until my favorite ROM and kernel package is available and tested.... :good:
BTW, I now show 1.6gb of ram under Settings/Apps/Running... .
Official CM10.1 is working great! It seems to run smoother since 4.2.2 for me. Used the gapps from Banks.

Yeah, latest nightly seems to be working well for me. (17th)
I'm running the latest version of Jellybro, no issues so far.
Running latest CM10.1 which pretty stable and solid for me.
AOKP (2/17) on 4.2.2 also seems stable so far...
Finally decide abandon CM 10.1
Now running Unofficial AOKP 4.2.2, 1st time running AOKP, never know it was that cool! It has more customization to do.
- Better customize function in AOKP v/s CM 10.1:
- Switching between PHONE / TABLET /PHABLET UI Mode!
- Set transparency level, height & color Navigation Bar.
- Transparency level for Notification Bar.
- Layout changes for Statusbar Toggles.
- Clock position switch.
- LED light changes
- Custom Boot Animation. (Pre-loaded with stock animation)
So far AOKP was running stable as well.

I just got mine last night as well, going to try AOKP tonight.
I have ran several Linaro kernel/ROMS on my Nexus 7 and its not the magic speed bullet you might expect it to be. Maybe 2-3 % faster.

Have you had any problem with the navigation bars disappearing in portrait mode?
I tried AOKP a month ago and ran into an issue where the navigation bar buttons disappeared whenever I turned my device into a portrait orientation. Since then, I have been running Cyanogenmod nightlies and have been pleasantly surprised how reliable they are despite the moniker "nightly."

I believe latest build fixed it. Never encounter such issue.

I was just playing around with AOKP. It's improved leaps and bounds since I last tried it. I really like the Tablet UI feature. I might switch ROMs when I have more time to play around/migrate settings.
(And no, I didn't run into the buttons disappearing in portrait mode.)
It's back to CM 10.1 for the time being...

Dear LinhPhi9x94,
Thank you very much for BlurOS Release2!
Cool build !!!
Looks interesting. Is this ROM based on CM?
Can't log in to my Google account during setup, if I skip signing in it advances to the groovy blue/purple Blur logo on white background with the network speed and battery logo at top right corner but can't get past here... secret?
OK now, fourth time was the winner with a few manual reboots.
Very nice fresh look, unique.
I like it. Good job.
Does this ROM actually use 3.10 kernel?
Can we flash supersu 2.65 or above for this rom as superuser is a bit uncertain for some apps and is required to ask again and again after every reboot
Edit : supersu is working
Customization KILLS !!!
Just installed the rom via TWRP 3.0.2. The following are my comments:
♦ The customization is simply awesome *Almost every customization from every kind of rom out there is present inbuilt* Awesome work by the BlurOs team ! (P.S I love lockscreen blur, its present)
* The default wallpaper sucks though
* Camera : Snap Camera (better pictures than sultan's, my opinion)
* Root is inbuilt
* Performance is excellent. The off screen gestures are pretty snappy
* The gallery app is quicker than most
* Battery life will be updated in a day or two
* Addictive Rom ! Do try it people !
Awesome work !! Best rom I've flashed till date !! ♥in it !!
BUG :
# The system update says there is no internet connection, even when the phone has one !
Last time I tried there were some Viet characters/apps. Is it all English now?

If you're a fan of how IOS looks, then this is the perfect ROM for you.
This has the CMTE theme engine installed and has a 4 pre-installed themes you can pick from, one of them is a dark theme which I'm very happy about.
I'm going to keep this ROM on my phone for a few days to see how I like it. I never thought I'd stick with a ROM that replicates the look of iOS, but it's a very interesting idea and It's very refreshing compared to all the stock looking ROMs that are available.
Also, in additition to looking so different from all the other ROMS out there, it has a ton of settings and options that most major and minor roms have, anything you can imagine really.
Edit:
Only downside i've found so far is that there's no way to disable the Capacitive Button Lights.
Edit2:
Can't seem to delete Gapps from the ROM. Un-install them through Titanium backup, but they reinstall themselves after a reboot. Anyone have any ideas?

i installed opengapps as part of the blurOS install process - my regular filters (include/exclude) and things worked well
no major issues. privacy settings, themes work well. Minor issue - phone calls sometimes cannot be picked using the circular green/red buttons and i had to swipe down the notification area to accept calls. Also, the default theme background is white + foreground text also white. Changing to another theme fixed that issue

The ROM comes with the gaps bre-baked, which is why it's so big. I was trying to delete them so I could use MicroG to immitate gapps, but not actually have any gapps on my phone. But the normal gapps kept getting reinstalled when I rebooted the phone.
I installed rom yesterday. I'm liking the customization provided. Also I feel audio output is far better than all other ROMs i tried. Thanks. I will post my battery review later

Hello xda-people!
I have just one simple question.
I bought this phone like 2 months ago and sold it like a week later, because I couldnt handle not showing notifications because of the notch.
It was like "show for 3 secs and then show the clock again"
I kinda hated that, although I think the phone is just good for 260€.
My question now:
Is that fixed? If so, how's it now?
P.S.
I want to stay on MIUI, since I really like it.
Thanks!
EDIT:
Touch issues and stuff like that still persistent?
Any other issues?
Still not fixed, another feature brought to you by the flagship of compromises.
Never settle bro
Not as of now, but seems they do plan to make it better. Just note that I'm using a notification mod and it works so well. You can check xda for the link and steps if you still plan to purchase the phone again

Forget it!
Suggest u to buy Lenovo z5 pro gt.
2. Notification dismissed from status bar, expect to keep notification showing in status bar
As the space in status bar is limited for POCO and POCOPHONE, after testing with a group of beta users we picked below 2 solutions:
Keep AM/PM status and a notification indicator when there are unread notifications;
Remove AM/PM status so we could put more notification icons in status bar
Feel free to share us your preference.

Hello, i have previously flashed RR v 8.6.9. I must say that it felt great having a custom ROM instead of MIUI, providing a new feel. But since i flashed my custom ROM, there is this blue android icon on the top left corner on my notification bar that's been bothering me. Does anyone know what that is? Is it a good thing or a bad thing to have that? I have attached a pic for reference.
My bad, i just realised that it was a logo setting turned on. Anyway, problem solved.
