Hey,
Just got a g tablet this week and I've been playing around with trying to get VEGAn onto it.
After installing it from CWR, it rebooted to the boot screen (three parrots) and now it won't do ANYTHING. I can't even turn it off (holding down power for 10+ seconds doesn't do anything)
Has anyone seen this before? I see many threads about boot loop but I can't even get my tablet to turn off so I can reboot it into APX mode to use nvflash.
Should I just let it try to burn through the battery overnight and see what happens in the morning?
Just keep pressing the power button for 3 second of length, it will turn off
Yeah that usually does it, but this time it's stuck at the screen even if I hold the power button for minutes.
I guess I'll just wait to see if after having it shut off via draining the battery, it is in a usable state.
My tablet must have gotten itself in some very weird state.
After letting the battery drain, it came back to life this morning.
Hello everyone,
I got a question. Yesterday, my phone shutdown do to no more battery. Once I got home (about 1h30 after), I plug-it into my computer for a good slow charge. I noticed the led was blinking red instead of staying on, but I though it was due to critical low battery. After 3 hours, still the same. I try to open it but nothing happened. Then, I noticed that when I touch the screen or button, the phone vibrate.
I then unplug and try again, same thing. I try plug into the wall charger, samething.
Then I proceed to hold the power button for 5 seconds. All three touch button start flashing and stayed on, but no joy, still vibrate when touching anything with screen turn off (not just no backlight, no image at all).
I manage to found out that holding the button nearly 10 seconds, it force a reboot and then was OK and charged at 70%.
I'm wondering what's the deal here. Is it a problem with the stock rooted rom?
Thanks

Hallo
My uncle has an Desire X and since a few days ago it suddenly stopped working. He turned off the phone and now it won't turn on anymore. He gave it to me so I could try to fix it.
Things I've tried:
Charged it for an hour. (LED turns on)
Removed the battery for a about ten minutes.
Connected it to the pc. (LED turns on)
Tried turning the phone on connected to the charger without a battery
Tried going into bootloader by pressing volume down+power button
Any other things I can try?
Btw the phone has no warranty and as far I know it hasn't been dropped.

You might have already tried it but what happens if you press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds?
I held it for for about 30 seconds.
I put in another battery that didn't work either so I'm just going to give up and give it back to my uncle.
Thanks for the reply's!

Same issue with my htc desire xc
Hello,
I recently thought I hardbricked my phone. The screen wasn't turning on, only the 3 lights at the bottom were flashing. I held down the power button and volume button, and just the power button but this thing would not turn on. It would blink about I'd say 40 times, then the blinking would just stop, and restart again. Everybody on forums I checked out said "Ah, you're screwed. It's hardbricked." I thought the phone was just toast, BUT...
..Before you think the phone is gone, wait a few hours. After I was sure that my phone was hardbricked, I threw it on the charger in hopes it might fix overnight, and I went to bed. When I woke up in the morning, still nothing. Later in the day though I tried it out once more, and it finally booted! I was able to get it into recovery, flash a ROM that actually works, and the phone was up and running again.
SO, before you think you have hardbricked your phone, wait until ATLEAST the next day. Well, I suggest trying it multiple times throughout the day, and if it doesn't work wait an entire day or so, because it may not be completely fried.
