How to install ".ftf" without Windows? - Xperia Z5 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I successfully flashed LineageOS on my Z5C with TRWP. As it doesn't wot with the Google Apps (GAPPS) I want to flash it with a stock ROM but these are only "-ftf" files. I found xperiastockrom.com/flash-sony-xperia-stock-rom that describes how to flash those *.ftf files, but this "FlashTool" is a Windows application - I do not have WIndows but Linux. How can I flash a *.ftf ROM with Linux?

Some Googling would have revealed that ".ftf" files are just ZIP files. They're not even the "official" Sony firmware files: ".ftf" (and the layout of the files within the ZIP archive) is just an extension that the Flashtool author came up with. (Flashtool is a third-party utility, not an official Sony application.)
There is no official Sony flash utility for Linux, either, but there is Xflasher, which is open-source and has a Linux build: https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/dev-xflasher-command-line-flasher-t2986634

To install the flash tool, follow the steps below:
Download the Flash tool for Xperia devices.
Unzip the file you downloaded and place it somewhere on your computer.
In the unzipped folder, run Emma.exe. During the installation, make sure you remember the installation path:

Default path in Windows 32 bit is: “C:\Program Files\Sony Mobile\Emma\”
Copy the Customization.ini file. You find it in the <Emma zip filename>.

are asking how to create a >.ftf file if so heres a guide
Look in your C:\ProgramData\Update Engine\db\13740270\blob_fs or C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\db\13740270\blob_fs folder and copy three biggest files
Go to Flashtool:. click on Tools > Decrypt files > Add the three FILE_********* files to list of Files to convert > OK > Let Flashtool decrypt the files.
When Flashtool finishes decrypting, add everything to Firmware content EXCEPT:
partition-image_S1-SW-LIVE-7054-PID1-0002-MBR.sin
simlock.ta
Save FTF file (Device: SO-05D, Version: Branding: docomo)

Any working tool to Unpack Android 6.01 bootloader tar.md5 and repack it so it flash?

The tools that I've tried are for earlier versions of Android does anyone know of a working tool? My goal is to downgrade the kernel 1 versoin on my Note 5 AT&T with a locked bootloader.
N920AUCS3CPK1 but running the N920AUCS3CPJ1 kernel.
Update on useful tools:
Assayyed Kitchen for Windows https://forum.xda-developers.com/ch...-android-roms-editor-assayyedkitchen-t3410545
Assayyed takes the system.img you retrieve from decompressing your firmwares AP file. (typically 1 of 4 files known as combination files used to flash to Odin). This tool debloats, deodex, deknox and remove apps from system. In addition it allows you to unpack the kernel (boot.img) and recovery.img files! You can manipulate some settings in Assayyed (see the thread) or even directly as the image is extracted inside of your work folder for both kernel and recovery. You can replace init, change settings in english and etc. Then Assayyed allows you to repack the tool and I can confirm on sm-n920a nov 1 2016 firmware you can flash the repacked image, booting I need to test on a less expensive device first.
(I don't know if it correctly adjusts file permissions in Windows honestly I didn't boot with the final image I only tested that I could flash it, which I could with heimdall for Ubuntu directly from github using .pit file from current firmware csc file).. I have a thread
Carliv Image Kitchen
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/tool-cika-carliv-image-kitchen-android-t3013658
This tools is strictly for unpacking/repacking the boot.img and recovery.img files, may have other features I been focused on kernel/recovery. It has some really cool features which I am just learning but the great news is it's available in Ubuntu (also Windows I believe.)

can i flash a vendor.img.lz4 with TWRP?

Device : s9e
I downloaded a stock rom from sammobile but it refuses to flash because i have newer binary version (latest)
So i decided to extract the vendor.img.lz4 from it and flash it separately in TWRP.
But when i extract the vendor.img from AP i found that it has .lz4 extension. Can i just remove it and flash in TWRP? Or do i need additional steps? Thanks in
Update: i found 7zip zs and it allowed me to extract the .lz4 compressed file
You need to extract them first
On Windows 7-Zip ZS can do it
https://github.com/mcmilk/7-Zip-zstd/releases
On Linux use lz4, sould be in the repos
# lz4 -d somefile.lz4

You can flash .img with TWRP, idk what's Iz4 but you may want to search a Iz4 to img converter.
I'm not sure tho if Iz4 is just a nickname you can remove or you have to convert it to .img. you may want to search that too
Have a good day

Before I would appreciate your help
The tools that I could find here in the forum have helped me to extract the firmware files and later extract the files from the system.img and vendor.img from Android 10 down, which I have and thanking them for their great work.
I have downloaded a firmware but it is from the Android 11 version when unzipping it I find the system.img, system_ext.img, vendor.img and vendor_boot.img then when I run the tool to extract the files from the img files it gives me Error the tools from what I see only support the version of Androd 10 so I cannot extract the files
Someone from here has been able to extract the files from these img of android 11 and if so, where can I download the tool to be able to do it from windows thanks for the attention
