I have read some threads about it on xda, but I didn't understand anything.
also I don't know where to get the firmware, and I don't know which firmware version is right. firmware finder for example gives me a list, but I don't know which version is right for my phone.

when I open hisuite proxy, in the 3 fields there is the abbreviation bla-l29 etc. etc., do I still have to proceed with setup and then after the setup I delete those fields?
edit:
which of the 3 links should I copy?

You have to copy all of them in their respective boxes.
Doesn't matter about the firmware name... but it's better to rename them

You don't need to download anything to your SD card . install FF on B183 , follow the instructions and choose which rom you want and check its compatible with your device . Then select by using in app proxy , then modify your wifi settings to set up the proxy . Finally go to settings > system > system update and check for an update

Yes,it fails to install,i've tried both the OTA and full rom to get the same error. The hisuit recognises the update and downloads it but fails to install. Does the firmware needs to BE copied to the phone?
Hisuite should automatically copy the firmware to the phone once its downloaded , it does take a good 15 minutes or more to copy it too , then the phone should restart and install by itself

I was on EMUI 9.0.0.190 (not sure if this was the exact one, it was the latest version as far as I know)and tried to downgrade to EMUI 8.0.0.171. Dunno the xloader version.
Also I borrowed my friend's DC Phoenix account and was following it's guide. Does anyone know which board this phone has so that I can download it's software.

2. In System update app > right upper corner > three dots > select Download latest full package
2. You can flash Service ROM .243 from dload , there is instruction in the firmware (ReleaseDoc). External USB must be in exFAT format. Warning: this process will erase all the data from your device!!!

For ****s and giggles, I would try another ROM. Better yet, I would restore back to stock and then try another install. That takes more time but will help ensure that you are starting from the most stable platform. If you go this route, remember to not restore stock 11, it will bootloop if you try to install a ton over it.

Does LTE show on stock? From Lineage or CrDroid were you able to find where you add or change the son? From either one, have you tried *#*#4636#*#* from the dial pad? You can change a lot of network specific things from there. You could try changing different band combinations to see if you can get a connection. You can also see what towers you are connecting to.

ANE-AL00 no 3G/4G in US

Hi,
I'm using GSI-treble CAOS 11. I recently moved to the US and I don't seem to get 3G/4G in the US. 3G/4G worked when tried on another phone with the same sim.
I'm using a ANE-AL00. Is it a baseband issue? Any thoughts?
And I'm getting connected to 2.4Ghz wifi only, not sure if it's a bug.
Thanks

Try eRecovery, using option "Download latest version and recovery".

The second method is flashing Service ROM aka fullStock ROM via dload method, but this process will erase all your data and lock bootloader again.

I tried the eRecovery auto update but it always fails to get update details for me after connecting to WiFi.
With the load method, although the bootloader gets locked, I can unlock using the same unlock code right?

Right, each bootloader code is permanent, it wont expire.
What is your model and build number? (for example, 9.1.0.257(C432E6R1P7) )

I don't know, I've never tried it .
Maybe this will help you:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/full-network-mode-preferences-on-gsi.4342225/
Or try this solution:
In SetEdit app:
1. + 'Add new setting' at the top.
2. Key in:
hw_add_4g_only
3.Tap Save.
4. In 'Edit setting', enter your mobile country code , can be found in your current APN Accses Point -> MCC . (or look for your mobile country code here )
5. Tap Save changes, close app and restart your phone.

Thanks! I'll look into it. But I flashed stock EMUI9.1 and still, the network works only on EDGE. So, I guess it has something with hardware/firmware. I don't know the difference between LX1 and ANE-AL00 in terms of hw...wondering if I should try LX1/LX2 stock rom..

I would not recommend ...
You can install only firmware for your regional variant - Al00 (C675), for example this one .
(Cxxx) is very important in determining the correct firmware to download.

Thanks again!
So, based on that, I flashed LX3 oeminfo and LX3 stock from. My phone is now rebranded to LX3 but still, I'm getting only EDGE! Probably that's all I can do I guess. I'll check with the operator once but then I don't have much hope too!
Anyway it was an interesting exercise (also consumed a lot of time)
Cheers!
