I know our device is a 32-bit ARM with a 64-bit binder, but its processor is 64-bit. So there is this possibility of an ARM64 rom ?.

Gsi only works a64 and the rom is arm32
No, it needs proper 64bit libs for the SoC in vendor for it to run 64bit ROMs/GSI

If it's the same SoC and the Galaxy A20 has all the necessary libs to run 64bit GSI then maybe. Needs proper porting.

YES... I am running galaxy A10 with android 11 arm64 and all google arm64 apps work.
I am running lineage os it's smooth for gaming you have some ram available for some pubg or Minecraft it's good. I am saying yes. You can install arm64 ROM ON GALAXY A10.
Here take a look

I also went EEEEEEE when i found this post lol, anyway I want to attempt to flash arm64 gsi on samsung a02s, since it also lists to use a 32 bit with 64 bit binder. So my question is, did you flash any lineage os 18.1 gsi arm 64 or is it a specific one?
Update: I flashed a 64 bit GSI from Andy Yan's personal builds, "lineage-18.1-20211214-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvS.img" but the phone just went into a bootloop.

I'm just wondering if xperia 2011 mdpi line will get a taste of paranoid android (PA4) ?
Also, can i build from sources? And how if i'm on a 32-bit machine?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50939230
for building you need to run any sort of linux. & its not that easy (need knownledge, the repo is also about 40 gig's) also 32bit is not the problem only it will take many hours to build then bcuz of low ram....
for further info check the official PAC-site, there also downloads for 2011 line

Thanks for ur reply!
I know about Pac, I running the latest ion build..
I'm talking about pure pa4..
Btw I was told that its impossible to build android 4.1+ on 32-bit machines..
Can u confirm that my 32-bit Ubuntu can successfully build pa4..?
Its kinda difficult to test myself as u said the sources are ~ 40GiB..

I don't think so. AFAIK ,the compiler required for JB+ ROMs is 64 bit only. Therotically, you can try an old 32 bit compiler(older NDK) and "try" to compile. and It might just compile .But practical implications may vary  . Switching to 64-bit is easier..

I've made a mini research and found from many sources exactly the same thing..Anyways i'll probably wait for someone with knowledge and a 64-bit machine to build PA4..
i'm poring PA and it will be out soon.

Why vukal api not support adreno 3xx (open gl 3.0) but nexus 4 adreno 320 can run aosp 7.0?
No need new driver. Use old driver. Maybe have bug ??

Vulkan API won't be supported in Adreno 330 / Qcom 800/801 due to hardware limitations. Google's Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) will fail on devices with no Vulkan support. So there shouldn't be any official Nogut but Android N can run without Vulkan API nonetheless (like in Nexus 5). Future Android versions won't work without Vulkan.

who uses GSI know
the best are always the ARM64 versions
so why didn't anyone try to make a 64bit vendor for the A10?
is this a device so useless? :crying:
I think an ARM64 vendor would give a new life to the devices, and open up great new possibilities

The A10 being a budget device is besides the point, the moto g's had amazing development. What it depends on is a dev having the device and wanting to develop.

Yeah but no devs want any Samsung low end devices. Samsung has gathered a pretty bad reputation when it comes to development, so most devs avoid them.
Now that Kernel source has been released by the manufacturer.
Here's hoping Lineage/ArrowOS/CrDroid/Havoc/AOSP is released for this brilliant value-for-money device!
Those ROMs doesn't require kernel source.
You can already run all those ROMs on OP Nord2 as GSI.

Is there another way to run ROMs then?
Is GSI some emulator style? Why do devs crib about Mediatek sources not being available? Is there another way of making ROMs in a native way? This is the first time I'm reading about something called as GSI ?!

Not at all, it runs natively just like stock rom.
The idea of a GSI is simply that we keep the drivers from stock ROM. They are working perfectly fine for stock ROM users, there is no reason those drivers wouldn't work fine for us.

Honestly? I'd say stubborness. Yes, we can use sources of more drivers on Qualcomm devices than on Mediatek devices, but to what end? Everytime needed sources of a driver on a Qualcomm platform, its sources were not available at all.
On Mediatek side, there is some source code available, but from shady origin, so they can be used to learn more about how Mediatek drivers work, but it can't be used to build drivers directly from sources. Again, we can just use stock ROM's drivers.

Yeah well GSI are severely underrated, because you can't make a news about a generic image working on a new device at every new device...
