So i kind of messed up. I was playing around in the system folder (/system) and now my phone didnt boot. So i went into TWRP recovery and tried resetting/formatting. Didnt work. I then unknowingly wiped the system folder using TWRP and now my phone wont boot at all (bootloop). So im in the need of installing android 10 again. I cant find anything online of how to do it. My phone is (or was) rooted. It has TWRP recovery installed and the bootloader is unlocked.
Any help will be appreciated.
The tool to use in order to re-flash a phone's Stock ROM depends on phone's brand & model & chipset. Hence provide that info if you want to get helped.

I installed TWRP on my phone, and went into Bootloader an hit RECOVERY so I can get to the program (the first time I did this it brought me to the TMRWP program). THIS time, it completely wiped my friggin' phone... after I sat there like 4 hours re-setting up everything PERFECTLY how I wanted it.
What's weird is it kept ALL my apps that I converted to SYSTEM APPS, but all my user stuff is gone.
Lesson learned... Don't click recovery from Bootloader.
That has yet to happen to me with any recovery and 3 devices currently with twrp. Might be a step missed with the install or maybe you left a bootloader update zip and ran it when you rebooted? Or it can be a bug as going to recovery from bootloader via a cold start is how to get there traditionally. I would email teamwin and try to sort it out or redo the recovery install, making sure to check the md5 of the file after you download it.

Your supposed to click recovery at bootloader. Thats where you do backup, restore and flash new roms.
HTC Sensation z710e
ICS 4.0.3
Sense version 4.0
Software Sense-o-maniac v1.3
Kernel. 3.0.30 Bricked
Radio 11.68.3504
That's what I thought too. If I'm not mistaking, I flashed the new firmware after I did the TWRP, so maybe that screwed it up somehow. I take it TWRP must be the LAST image you flash? Only flashes I remember doing were:
Customize bootloader screen
TWRP.
firmware update
Do I need to re-flash the new firmware before re-flashing TWRP, or is the firmware going to remain no matter what I do from this point on?
Just adb flash recovery. Put the recovery image in your platform tools folder. Adb reboot bootloader. when you are rebooted adb flash recovery recovery.img.
Or use one of the many tools made to do that on our forums

Well I went ahead and used the GOO Manager to flash TWRP again, and this time it worked fine. I'm going to re-setup my phone again then before I customize it back like I had it, going to try to get to recovery and see if it works.
With it now being installed, does that mean I can't flash anything directly from SD Card or modify the bootloader anymore without it causing problems?
What I mean, moreso, is... if I ever put factory reset. will it reload the factory rom + keep the newest firmware I installed (etc.) or do I nee to back up the phone with TWRP and recover from that when I want to load it back?
Factory reset just puts things back to the way they were without the stuff in the data partition or any user apps or settings. This means that say you flash a custom rom, it will reset to as if that custom rom was freshly installed since the custom rom has replaced the factory rom in the /system/ parition and anything else related to it.
With that said it is usually a good practice after rooting a fresh device to do the nandroid and then transfer it to a computer before you do anything else. Note that while you probably won't be switching recoveries a lot, that nandroid backups generally work only with the recovery that generated them so don't get them mixed up.
Hello, I need a little advice on getting my phone working again. I got a new Ramos MOS1 Max today and rooted it via Kingo PC software. I checked to make sure it was rooted using RootChecker and it said it was rooted. I was reading up on what to do next and some sites said the next thing you must do is to make a backup of your phone via TWRP. I installed the software and then attempted to use the "reboot and create backup" functionality. The phone rebooted and I was in the Android system recovery menu. I didn't see anything like what TWRP was supposed to show, so I just rebooted via the standard recovery screen method. Now when I try to start the phone, it gives me a logo, then ARMPHONE and it hangs on that.
I've tried wiping my cache partition via recovery menu and rebooting, but no dice. Next they suggested to do a wipe data/factory reset, and since I just received the phone today, I decided to try that. After doing that via system recovery menu it still wouldn't boot past the ARMPHONE screen. I don't have a lot of experience with rooting and modifying Android devices, is there something I can do to fix this? I've installed the android SDK tools for my version of android (5.1 I believe), but I don't know how to proceed. Is there a stock image I can use for this phone, or can I just use a vanilla android image?
Thanks in advance.

Phone: LG Aristo MS210 (Metro PCS)
Bootloader: TWRP 3.0.3.0
So let me explain. I was just figuring out how to root the LG Aristo since I had never done it with a custom ROM. Yes, true story. Anyway, I was happy I got it working perfectly until I rebooted my phone. When I rebooted it, SuperSU was gone. I tried going to the play store and redownloading it, but I got an error code -504, and the thing is, I couldn't download any apps. ANY. I decided to look the error code up and I can't find anything on it. I tried multiple times doing multiple different things. From factory resetting, reflashing SuperSU, to factory resetting and then flashing SuperSU, wiping dalvik-cache along with everything except for system. It didn't work and I thought I could get it working.. Well... this next part I really messed up on. I decided to wipe everything. I selected all options and slid the cursor and it failed. The wipe failed. It said "E: /sdcard1 unable to partition" or something like that. I noticed that when I was wiping earlier the internal storage was also called that, and the funny thing is I have no microSD card in my phone. So. :/
Now when I boot I'm stuck on the LG splash screen and nothing else happens. I tried recovery mode (without ADB) with the power button + vol down key as I read here: (I'd post link but I'm a new member) that's how you get into recovery/factory reset. I'd use ADB to get into recovery, but since I just wiped the system, I don't have USB debugging enabled. I tried anyway and I gotta say this is my worst nightmare as I'm too young to get a job, (15 yrs. old) so I can't get a phone. :/ Oh, and if this can be useful: I know it connects to my PC over USB because I hear the sound it makes when a new device is connected. Is there any way I can use that to unbrick it?
EDIT 9/10/2017 9:31 PM (Eastern Time): I managed to get into twrp. I'm currently looking online for how to flash android 7.0 nougat (OS it originally had)

Hi,
Well the only way to fix this is that u need to be able to boot into recovery.
If u tried booting into recovery by holding the power and vol+/- and u end up booting to the boot logo, then recovery is also wiped.
In this case, u will need to check if u have access to fastboot. If so then obtain the twrp recovery for ur device and flash it then tried booting into recovery using the appropriate keys.
When I get time, I will research ur device for any recovery tool and stuff.

I bought a coolpad 8715 but the android version doesn't work with Playstore and everything about it is in Chinese, I try to change the language to English but the apps are still written in China. please how can I install another OS on it that support Playstore. I downloaded the firmware ( 8715_4.4.016.P1.8715.CPB ) which is in CPB format and i try to extract it to change application and some settings, after extraction I found some files but I don't know which one to edit or how to. The help I needed is that, how to edit my firmware .....CPB file after extraction and pack it back as .......CPB file so that I can use it to flash my coolpad 8715. I ran into a problem before: but my solution ended up breaking my system more:
Old issue: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/rooted-phone-root-apps-t3708044 - hoping this will help solve that also
what happened:
I went to Reflash my SuperSU.zip: with an updated version: via Sideload: which ended up failing at 78% and putting me in bootloop: So i went to do a Reset with my TWRP: i must have selected the wrong section because now it says i have no Android: Still in bootloop too:
My phone died since then and my TWRP recovery seemingly will not load up, perhaps i just haven't given it the time to, however i looked up a stock Rom to flash if i can get my TWRP running again
Question is: How can i FORCE it to load bootloader, even though it is in bootloop, So i can Reflash my TWRP then proceed to Flash my ROM with this Rom "BLOX2core" which the site says " - This is the ideal stock ROM for anyone wanting a thinned out version of stock. Comes pre-rooted, busybox installed, deodexed (to be able to theme and easy modding), and debloated like crazy. Comes with a Pixel style launcher, new boot animation, and sounds. Roughly HALF the size of the original stock. Simply flash the ROM and start modding the device to your liking."
EXT site i found rom is http://blox2.com/flashablelife-one-x2-stock-roms/
I really am only worried about it having BusyBox since i couldnt install busybox originally: I do doubt ill do much other modding on it, except a bootanimation possibly: but i digress.
The Questions:
How can i FORCE it to load bootloader, even though it is in bootloop?
From what i understand Flashing a rom replaces your operating system: is this right?
Is this possible?
if so: can i get at least a half-dummed tutorial?
(i dont need button Combos or the terminal commands IE Power + Vol Down or Fastboot flash recovery TWRP-recovery.img unless its a completely odd button/command that isnt normally used)
i didnt expect it to fail to update SU so I didnt use NanDroid before hand: I should have though
NOTE I am using Windows ADB not Linux because i do not have a Linux machine:
So I recently tried to unroot my device with flashing official ROM on it. Apparently I used the wrong file because my phone got bricked. I tried using XiaoMiTool by Francesco but it didn't help. I spent a lot of time trying to fix it so ill post what worked for me. I downloaded a lot of ROMS but none of them worked for me there was either flash error or device mismatching and I couldn't find right flash official software anywhere. I downloaded another ADB fixing program which worked, I downloaded Szaki/XiaomiADB fastboot tools which worked perfectly. I simply connected my phone searched for my phone code name (tucana) downloaded ROM from there, wiped all data off and finally flashed OS on my device. I also have a question, are there any android software fixing programs for phone repair companies or something similar?
Have good day and stay healthy,
MX8MC8
id suggest to unbrick with mi flash tool.
I did that always when i was stuck on something, it ofcourse removes your data but saves the device so its still the profit probably... After succesfull rom installation you can flash again.
Also you do this in fastboot mode
When I was stuck in the same way the solution I found was to flash whatever rom then when the phone bootloops, go into recovery, and format data. Afterwards it will boot to startup screen and take forever to load up. Anyway that is my solution, before that I would have to flash stock recovery to boot for the first time then flash a custom recovery back.
