Hello everyone. I have a very good used LG G3 and I was doing some research and I found there was an new update for TWRP for our LG G3 devices.
http://www.twrp.me (Link goes to the owners of TWRP, and not me.)
Just wanted to let everyone know. I will be starting a ROM project and see how it goes in a few weeks.

Hi there,
as some of you may have noticed, Paolothlw8 from androidiani forums has started development and released an open-sourced CM12.1 some time ago. Starting from this, I started to port other roms to our beloved device. There are already two roms I ported to it, and more is to come.
So anyone wanting to talk about those roms here, is welcome. You can also submit ROM porting suggestions, if you really want a ROM to be ported to the Z7 Max, I'm likely to be able to port it. I'll also add tutorials on how to do basic things like installing a recovery, flashing a rom, updating to official lollipop, downgrading to official kitkat, etc. Suggestions welcome here too.
I'm also going to start development on the Nubia Z9 Max when I get my hands on it, for those who might be interested.
Any questions, any suggestions?
List of available Z7 Max custom roms for now:
- BlissPop v3.9 based on Android 5.1.1
- OwnROM v1.0 based on Android 5.1.1
To be updated when more is available.
Reserved for Q&A.
Reserved for tutorials.

Mysself and @MotoJunkie01
Are working on fixing aboot to allow for custom recovery which will in turn allow for flashing a custom rom.
As of yet. Custom rom is not possible
So its been around a year. Are there anymore advancements made with this phone? Or has it just been abandoned? Would really like to have root without bootloop issue and a custom rom would be fantastic. Please let me know!

It isn't as much that device development has been abandoned as it is that Android in general is quickly evolving. I think I'm safe in saying that interests have shifted. With the release of Android Pie 9.0, and with official releases of LineageOS 15.1 for various devices, interests have shifted to devices which are not as locked down as the Zone 3, and devices for which development is more easily implemented. Don't get me wrong, I love the Zone 3 and only recently purchased a new one. However, the Zone 3, like many budget LG smartphones, is difficult in terms of development due to the OEM's policies regarding device security.
In addition, full root has been available for the Zone 3 for some time, without boot looping and without display driver issues. Seek out @Astr4y4L over at Android Central, where he now develops, and he should put you on the right path.
Hi, I'm looking for the latest Official LineageOS 14.1 (7.1.2) download for the LG G5 H830 TMO variant. I've been searching XDA and online all afternoon & still can't find it.
I have tried LineageOS 17.1 and too many of my legacy apps I require for work refuse to sideload. Also I prefer the Android Nougat interface.
Stability is more important to me than extra features. If anyone knows where I can download this ROM, please reply with the link?
Thank you!

It should be on the official website. Edit: I looked on there myself and couldn't find it.
To follow up:
I found LineageOS 14.1 for the LG G5 H830, I installed it
LG G5 (T-Mobile) (h830) - LineageOS ROMs
LineageOs ROM LG G5 T-Mobile (h830)
lineageosroms.com
It is absolutely a silky-smooth ROM and I am just loving this on my LG G5! My only complaint is I don't like the Calendar app, it insists on syncing and is hard to use so I'm using Simple Calendar instead. Also answering the phone from the lock screen isn't intuitive at all. But it's an amazing ROM and I'm very happy with the battery life.
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows if you can flash LOS 18.1 with TWRP 3.5.1?
As far as I could determine, TWRP does not yet officially support Android 11.
I am not really eager to use Lineage recovery because of the lack of backup support, but if there is no way around I guess I have to

Hey,
Ofc you can flash it via TWRP. It should work perfectly fine like any other ROM.
If you need any information about installation or something else, check my POCO F1 Ultimate Collection & Guides

If I install this, it's end up in a Bootloop!
I already tested this!
