I just received my J5 Create JUC600 Android Mirror Control device and follows all the instructions to mirror my Verizon Galaxy S4 to Windows 7. During the connection process, it stops and the shield icon notification on my Android says it blocked an app from attempting to reach a restricted area.
I've searched everywhere on the forums trying to solve this, I hear there a bugs in the Samsung KNOX app causing this message to pop up frequently. I went in the app manager and force stopped all KNOX activity and it the connection still gets blocked.
I set the Android to allow apps from unknown sources and checked the debugging mode on. I even did a factory data reset on my Galaxy S4 as I heard this help some users fix a bug in the 4.3 update. Still no success.
Please help! Thanks everyone!
You need ROOT

Bare in mind, the following will void your warranty and failure to follow instructions explicitly could very well brick your device. That being said...
If you haven't already done so, you need to root your phone (instructions can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1963806).
Installing SuperSU or Superuser (I highly recommend SuperSU) which ever you prefer will initially fail due to KNOX, easy enough, Go to "Settings", "More", "Application Manager", scroll right to "All" and forc stop each of the four instance of KNOX (as well as clear data where applicable). Go back to your apps list and run SuperSU (or Superuser if you chose to do such). Please note that I do use and have only ever used SuperSU so I am personally not sure if Superuser will work the same. When you start SuperSU it will notify you that ROOT has been blocked by KNOX and ask if you wish to disable it. Select yes, you will have to repeat the steps above afterwards to force stop all instance of KNOX and clear all data. Restart your phone and run a ROOT verifier of your liking to verify that you have ROOT. After this process is complete your J5 Android Mirror will finally work for you.
Samsung phones running 4.3+ with JUC600
Samsung phones running 4.3 and higher have the signal from the JUC600 cable blocked. The latest firmware version will prompt the installation of a different USB driver called the AoA driver in order to get around this issue. As long as the cable's firmware has been updated to 14.01.0124.00.00 and the software has been updated to match this driver should install automatically. You may need to cycle through USB connection types in order to get that driver installed correctly. There will be a notification on the phone's screen that asks if you want to allow juclink to run and you will need to hit ok. From there the mirror should work.
Ok so i downloaded build prop editor from the play store and changed the dpi to 200. i then restarted my phone only to see that it wont launch and a message keeps popping up saying "Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped."
I've tried:
1. editing the build.prop file via adb but i couldnt get it to connect, it kept saying device offline no matter what i did.
2. re-flashing the cwm recovery
3.Im downloading the stock firmware right now but not sure if it is legit or if it will even download :/
after everything ive tried i havent been able to find a solution, just askin for some help!!
I have searched and search, and could not find any solution to my problem.
The other day, I downloaded xposed framework, installed the flat style theme to make my notification menu look like an ios7 one, upon reboot my com.android.systemui keeps crashing every two seconds. So it's impossible for me to get to my settings to factory reset my device in order to remove the xposed framework. I tried getting to the boot menu and it says Secure FAIL: KERNAL "System Software not authorized by verizon wireless has been found on your phone. Please turn your phone off and go to the nearest Verizon Wireless store for help".
I have tried using odin to flash the stock rom for my device, even tried using kies (which keeps saying my serial number is incorrect, when I am typing it in correctly).
I even tried remote factory reset from the google android device manager and it only cleared my sd card, but not the device itself.
I don't know what to do, is there some way to use Odin from the computer to force a factory reset?
Hi! I recently rooted my tablet and removed some system apps/bloatware. Since doing so I get two reoccurring messages,
1.) Unfortunately Google Play services has stopped
2.) Unfortunately, the process com. google. process. gapps has stopped.
Also, when I try to set up any Google services, I get a message saying " Couldn't sign in there was a problem communicating with Google services try again later",
regardless how many times I try this message just repeats and doesn't sign me into anything.
I've tried to factory reset and everything I can think of, all with no luck. I'm guessing the firmware and gapps need to be re-installed, but I'm not sure. When I try to download anything it fails. I don't have a computer, so I'm hoping to be able to apply the fix to the tablet itself. I have also tried to unroot, but that hasn't made much difference . Again my model # SM T530NU, running 4.4.2. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Hello, I rooted my Note 4 about 2 years ago and never installed any custom ROM nor have I installed a custom recovery. It had been android 5.0.1. Recently, I decided to unroot and finally update it to 6.0.1. I then used ODIN and flashed the official firmware on sammobile. Everything went well with ODIN and the flash was complete. However, once my device rebooted, there was an error where it says "Device does not have DRK, please install DRK first..." and then there was an "error" in the middle of the screen. After 10 min, I removed the battery and manually reset the phone. Once my Note 4 booted back up, everything seemed fine, but i had this constant "unfortunately cloud agent has stopped" msg. Also, I noticed each time I opened the Gallery app, it would crash and the same "unfortunately cloud agent has stopped" would pop up. I tried to force stop the CloudAgent and gallery in my application manager but the issue continued to persist. When I would go into the settings under application settings, simply by clicking the gallery option will crash the settings app. Even my camera app would crash and have the same msg when I click the gallery preview on the bottom right. I read online that it was an issue with dropbox, but nothing changed. Finally, I decided to factory reset and wipe the cache partition my phone through recovery. I then noticed both DRK and Dm-Verity Verification Failed msg in red on the bottm of the recovery menu. Restarted the phone and everything seemed fine until I noticed the "unfortunately cloud agent has stopped" msg again. Not only that, when I try to turn NFC down in the setting, the setting app itself would crash. Tried factory resetting the phone a couple of time but the issues were still there. I also noticed that each time that I would reset my phone, there was the "Android is starting..." green screen that appears as if I was doing updating my phone. I tried re-installing the firmware with ODIN again, but I still had the same issues. I tried using smart switch to re-install the firmware but once i get my phone in download mode, Smart Swtich cant recognize my phone. Here we are now, I can use my phone, but I cant open the gallery app to see my photos, I cant turn off nfc in the settings, I have both DRK and Dm-Verity Verification Failed msg in recovery and I get the green Android is starting screen every time I restart the phone. Any help would be a miracle xD
I forgot to mention this, but before flashing the firmware, I forgot to reinstall some bloatware/Samsung apps that came with the, it might be related. I did back them up with titanium backup tho.
Some specs:
SM-N910W8 (Bell), I unlocked it and use it with Fido
Android 6.1.1
