Music Player with scheduling option on Andriod - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am looking for a music player that I can set a start and stop time during a day, as well as specific hours during weekend.

I mean... Tasker can make that happen. You don't really need an app for that.

Tnx. Sounds like a good option. Can you recommend a Tasker?

No, but it's simple enough to do it yourself. You just need to specify times and that's about it.
I don't have enough free time to do it myself, because i would have. So... In conclusion, both sorry and you're welcome.

[TUTORIAL] Audio Theme Do It Yourself

go to cepstral.com
on demo tab, pick linda, pick old robot effect.
now play with what you want linda to say.
save the new sound.
convert it to .ogg (just google some free audio converter)
rename and put the to designated folder.
note
you may have to reboot for some to kick in.
you also need to consider the time length of your recording
too long and it won't play the whole thing.
simple enough?
just have fun with it.
Thank you for this can this be done on just the phone or do you need a pc?
pc yes! phone, I haven't tried
It won't play on that site for me on my phone so I'm guessing its going to be a no go on the mobile

Just put in what linda wants to say and save. I use firefox and you can save the audio from the browser.

You can download the demo, just get the timing right so it does not play a registration notice. You may also need to change the spelling of words or add punctuation to get cadence and phonetics to your liking. You can also adjust speed in options if you use the downloaded demo.
Have fun, thanks xtone!
hello, so I made a "battery charge complete" linda, but idk where to put it and what should it be named? thanks.

Magic Jack Error...

Hi to all....
I'm running Nightmare 1.6 and all is working perfect... The only problem I have is with the app Magic Jack.... I get this message: "The installation associated with your device is invalid". I can't setup my account or do anything... It use to work perfect on Nrgz... I tried to install it with Titanium Backup without any luck... This app is very important to me... Please, let me know if there's a fix for this or if you need more info to helps me!
Thanks in advance!
if your app has problems with your current rom settings.. then it could be that it doesn't work on your current rom... you have to keep in mind when the companies that make these apps don't make them for custom roms... so maybe some settings might be off in the build.prop or something else could be missing.. but i would suggest just trying another rom, or going back to stock.. or the rom that you had it previously working on
Oh well... Not the answer I was looking for but... I guess I'll live with it!!
Try a fresh install from the Play Store, don't install from TB

Yeah... I did that after a full whipe...! Still not going! Thanks for the idea!! It seems like It's specific to the rom... I guess it's just some tweak! But! I'm not good enough to tweak it!!
I wouldn't use the Magic Jack app anyways. It's a major battery hog. I had to uninstall it. I just have my MJ number forward to my cell phone

I use it for long distance calls... When I don't need it... I kill the app trough the app manager so, no battery drain!

I use Vonage. Just set your cell phone as an extension of your Vonage phone, and get all the features associated with your current Vonage plan (in my case, free global long distance over 3G/4G/Wifi)

[Q] Taking photo at certain time

Is there an application that automatically takes a photo at certain specified times (for example, at 8am,11am,2pm,5pm)?

Is there a way to lock my screen while listening to music on YT?

HI guys!
Is there any hacked YT version, which the screen locking don't stops the video? I usually listen to music on YT and i want to shut the screen off to save battery. I don't want to download all the music, and i can't download all of them i listen to.. I tried many other apps, none of them helped me. It would be the best, if i could use the YT, beacause i often listen to full playlists, and other apps can't handle my playlists or autoplay.
Thank you
Greetings,
that can be done only by installing XPOSED.
Kind regards
Trafalgar Square
Uhh. Any other options? Maybe then a good app, that I can use with stock rom?

You can use this app to play media files while the screen is off, I don't think it works with YouTube though, you would have to pay for the music and then download it.
PVSTAR+ is a free app that can access YouTube content and use a "music mode" or whatever to let you turn off the screen and listen only. I used it when I went to the gym. Or just root, get xposed, and use YouTube Background Player or whatever it is called. Don't be afraid to root

I'm not afraid of rooting, but I don't want to flash a custom Rom. Xposed is a Rom, right? Or am I misunderstanding something?

Xposed is not a ROM, it is a hack that modifies the framework of your ROM, this can lead to bootloop's and overall instability. It is also possible that it won't cause any issues whatsoever, make sure that you know how to recover from a bootloop before you install Xposed. Also, even if the actual installation of Xposed works, the individual modules can easily cause a bootloop.
I did it. I rooted, and than flashed xposed, everything went ok, and then I wanted to take a photo. And the camera didn't want to work, just a black screen. So I flashed back the stock. It didn't worth it...

Well at least keep the root, you can do SO MUCH with root. And yes xposed can be tricky sometimes, but it can also be very beneficial. It just depends on if you want to deal with the troubleshooting if needed. And try the app I suggested, and the other one the dude before me suggested. Best of luck.

Killing app at a specific time

Hello,
I would like my phone to hang up ongoing WhatsApp call if there is one daily at a certain time. It doesn't matter if it would be with Airplane mode, hanging up, or just killing the app.
I highly appreciate any answers even if you can tell me it's not possible.
Thank you
Tasker can sort that out.

You can find Tasker mod somewhere on the Internet. You don't have to pay.
I think Tasker would need root to kill an application as well but I am not sure about it since I haven't killed applications so far.
