Question How to use 120hz with stamina mode? - Sony Xperia 1 III

We all know that Snapdragon 888 is so hot, but when I turn to the stamina mode, it works better. Unfortunately, stamina mode doesn't support 120hz. Is there any solution for this?

There should be a way to override this somehow through a magisk module perhaps. I hope someone can find a way to do this and share with the community.

[Q] Can I increase the display brightness in camera mode?

Is it normal that auto-brightness doesn’t work in camera mode? It is very hard for me to use the camera properly in stronger sunlight outside, the display is too dark and I can’t see nearly anything.
I’ve only found option “visibility outside“ but it doesn’t help much + this option is also disabled by default every time I start the camera again. Is it possible to somehow increase the display brightness in camera mode? Thanks

Disabling significant motion detector/sensor

According to GSam Battery Monitor this sensor uses quite a lot of battery.
Does anyone have any idea how to disable it from working when running the official Indian Stock ROM?
the only sitting that related to screen display is Adaptive brightness you can see it under Brightness.
try it and see the consume of the battery.

Nope, this one cannot help even theoretically. The motion sensor is active while the phone is resting.

okay got it :good:
From what I found, this is virtual sensor that combines data from multiple real sensors and is used to control the Doze mode. I haven't found how restrict Play Services to access the sensors but Doze can be enforced with apps such as Forcedoze or Greenify.

Deactivate Night Mode.

Hi!
I recently bought a Moto Z XT1650-03, the phone is unlocked.
Its a good device but Im having troubles with the camera. It has the "Night Mode" enabled, doesn't matter if there are light or not, if it detects a little zone with dark it enable that mode. All my photos are defocused.
Someone knows how to deactivate that function in Moto Camera App?

The night mode (? icon ) only turns on if you turned off your flash in the camera app. If you set flash to auto or on it won't show up

Turn off keyboard backlight

hello, my xz1 compact inst root and I have some questions:
I - Anyone know an app that reduce or turn off keyboard backlight, and that reduce absolut low light numbers? I do not like how this phone is bightness at night and not satisfied with the most famous apps on play store or night mode.
II - When stamina mode is turned on my keyboard starts to act strange like buggy and delays between touch and real write. Does anyone know how to solve this?
III - I'm using OnePlus app for gestures and not satisfied with my keyboard app. I'm using Gboard didn't like chromma and Swiftkey, does anyone recommend an app for bigger board since I had no navigation bar on screen? thank you!
1) CF.Lumen has a great red-light night mode, that makes the phone comfortably usable in utter darkness. The lowest brightness level on this phone is definitely a weakness.
2) It's likely Stamina Mode reduces performance to lengthen battery life. You might try a simpler, more lightweight keyboard, maybe? I think there's one called 'Simple Keyboard' that is really lightweight.
3) You can resize both Gboard and Swiftkey to be pretty large, easily taking up more than half of the screen.

Question Temporal dithering - disable?

Hi all,
Have been investigating some sources of eye strain and headaches with the PIxel 6, none of the PWM apps work for me, but it's been suggested that temporal dithering employed by the device might be at least a part of the problem.
Does anyone know if it's possible to turn this off in software? if rooted possibly?
It certainly seems that some older ROM toolkits had the ability, but they've long gone.

I would like to see some solution for Pixel's 6 PWM as well.
I have also tried multiple apps. They help a little, but the issue with Pixel 6 is that it flickers even on 100% brightness.
I do wonder if it it even remotely possible to force the device to DC dimming or there are HW barriers.
