Low earpiece volume - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hi, Is there anyway to fix low earpiece volume? I'm struggling with this on every custom rom I flashed. On the original MIUI everything works fine. Now, I'm on crDroid 9 (A13)

[Q] Looking for kernels for unlocked BL, without in call volume increase

Maybe I'm crazy, but my x10 in-call volume is just fine (and I've got a slight hearing loss!). I've played with some kernels and seen some performance increases, looked at even more, but they all have had the "fix" for increasing in-call volume.
Can anyone recommend kernels for unlocked BL, stock rom, without the in-call volume increase? I have been using TEAM rom and really like it.
I have used TEAM v3 ThKernel and really liked it too (on TEAM ROM of course) except I need to have the phone call part be good for me even if I don't use it often . I tried several DoomKernels but they not only had the raised in-call volume issue but also seemed sluggish when loading/coming back to home (even after days).
Or if there's a fairly easy way to reverse the in-call volume increase, I'd be willing to give that a shot too.
Thanks in advance!
Am I really the only x10 owner out there that doesn't want blasting loud to the point of distortion in-call volume? Seriously. The in-call volume is fine and I don't need it to sound like a quiet distorted speaker phone.
There's lots of nifty kernels out there: Doom, Th, etc... I've tried and enjoyed some and everything but the phone function itself is great but I still need functional phone calls! (... it IS a phone after all). I'd love to be able to use kernels without having to have distorted loud sound on the in-call volume but I've yet to find one. Please if anyone knows of a kernel that doesn't mess up the in-call volume.... PLEASE let me know about it.
Thanks in advance.
Phone info: Unlocked BL, TEAM 3.9 ROM, Go Launcher Ex (not that I think this all matters cause it's been the same with every kernel/ROM even before I unlocked BL and tried various ROMS)... but that's been my setup for a few weeks now.

[Q]Volume can't go max

Hello,
I am encountering a problem when using either cyanogen or miui, when i plug a headset on my phone the volume can't reach the maximum level at about the middle of the volume bar the sound stop growing louder. What can I do ?
Ain't got problems with touchwizz based rom, only CM and MIUI. No problem on speaker either.

The microphone is not stable.

Hi.x829 Atomic OS
During a call, the microphone can work, but more often it works quietly. The problem observed on the stock ROMs and on the custom ROMs.
Maybe I can adjust the volume in a build.prop or some other file?

occasional volume adjustment like sound coming from speaker

A sound is coming from my speaker like volume adjustment sound. Problem started after updating to latest Miui 9 global stable. Sound comes even when the screen is off. Now i have switched to global beta but still same problem is there. Anyone else facing this problem ??

Click to collapse
If you have unlocked bootloader then try a custom rom or else install the rom again via fastboot

Question: is possible to get earpiece speaker volume? (root)

Hi all,
I'd like to know if it's possible to improve the earpiece speaker volume on pocophone. In combination with main speaker sounds so loud, for example playing a video, but when I hear a voice note or a call, it's low. In other phones you can edit some values in mixer_paths.xml (vendor/etc) being root, but I tried unsuccessfully.
Any help would be appreciate. I use lastet MIUI global stable 10.3.8.0
Thanks!
if your device is ROOTED (as you say) and the kernel you are on; having SOUND mode ( franco, Twisted, Optimus Drunk) then from SMARTPACK kernel manager ( Download here ) you can change incall and earpeace volumes.
There is no speaker volume thou!
