Logic Board - Huawei Mate 10 Questions & Answers

I'm looking for a genuine logic board that hasn't been modified for a good price for a Huawei Mate 10 ALP-L29 from somewhere that will ship to NZ. A back cover seal would also be a bonus.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

broken battery cover

hi everybody.
I bought a touch pro 2 t-mobile one week ago and I received it today (from USA to Chile in southamerica).
the seller said "the phone is in prestine condition, just like new". this is right, but only in the outside of the phone, inside is full of glue to fix the battery cover, sometimes the battery cover falls down
I can't find a battery cover in ebay.com, where can I found this accessory?
thanks, and sorry about my english
I'm totally understand you. I ordered a T-mo TP2 from US too. (I'm in Australia) But luckily the phone came in sealed box as seller promised. I think you should file a dispute againt the seller for the brokrn back cover, it seems to me that the back cover is broke by the seller right? Anyway, OEM or Original back cover for T-mob TP2 is darnn hard to find mate also its accessories too. But keep looking may be you'll be lucky some day!
Cheers
i can check to see if i can order one from tmobile since i am their customer.
i will just tell them mine fell out and need a replacement and see what happens.

USB Cover

The little flap that covers the USB port has a small rubber gasket that tends to fall off. Has anyone found a cheap source or easy way to repair this? I'm thinking liquid rubber via a syringe or similar. I bought several off Ebay but they were expensive and don't last more than 6 months. I'm on like my 4th one.
Depends on what you think cheap is.
Supposedly this is OEM: http://www.etradesupply.com/sony-xperia-z-ultra-xl39h-card-slot-cover-and-usb-cover.html
I have same problem, my first falloff and now i use ducktape coz i cant buy that in my country
I have replaced it with this
OEM Micro USB Charge Port Cover White For Sony Xperia Z Ultra C6833 C6843 XL39H...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/191429193701
You can try sticking it with glue if you catch it falling soon. The above flap is very easy to put back and NO DISASSEMBLY is needed.
joust got one i ordered from amazon, great quality!
I had the same issue while in Mexico, called the Sony service center and they mailed me out 2 of them for FREE. My suggestion is that you call your local Sony Mobile service center and see what they tell you. I wasn't asked for warranty or proof of purchase, NADA!
FoneJoy has the USB cover for the Ultra. I bought one myself from them when the rubber fell off mine. They ship worldwide (from the UK).

very useful thread, how complicated is the assembly once I have that original spare? couldn't find any pointers or how-to's. Thanks everyone.

I know it sucks, but the 249$ worth of free stuff I think makes up for $2.99 case.
Since I pre-ordered in the UK we are getting a free wireless charger and the new Watch GT. I rather pay £8 for a case and get the charger and the watch.
never got 250$ of free stuff with mine, no case either...

Must be claimed and uses a uk address to get in to the states
i'm in singapore and it's included in the box.
There were reports that mentioned a case included, for example:
"Huawei has also included a case inside the Mate 20 Pro's packaging for those that do not want to risk scratching the back of their new device."
I was surprised that it had nothing inside, but the freebies are a nice touch. Just waiting for them
Got mine with NO case.
Nothing on UK and European owners
Same thing in Spain [emoji34]

Same Here in Greece.
No case.....
My mate 10 pro had it.....
I got 2 for 1,5 from ebay.....
Silicon case included in Malaysia
Got mine in a box.
I also hadn't any case within the package, so I have asked shop phone support and they sent me one with apology.

I thought I hadn't got one either here in New Zealand but a day or so later I checked the box with the little books in it and there it was.
I don´t care to get a cheap silicon ruber case from a supplier. If I am deciding to buy a technical toy for 1000 bugs, I do want to wrap it into a nice looking case, that I do like.
Shame on Huawei, because of not putting a 20 cent plastic cas into the box? No, thanks Huawei for not producing waste.
I can highly recommend the clear case. It's got a nice feel to it and it's £5 on Amazon.

Mine came with the TPU case (Canada, Telus) along with the watch. The case is just about as slippery as the phone, somehow. It may save you from a corner drop but it won't stop the phone from sliding off of... Well, any surface of any kind. I have no idea how they made something rubbery quite this slippery.

Got mine with a case also (Bell, Canada). I personnaly like the case. It is a cheap silicon case, but it does the job.
I wanted to rock the phone naked at first, but the rounded corners and the back of the phone (twilight is slippery) makes this phone way too prone to drops.

This.
If you are able to afford such an expensive phone you can also afford a $10 silicone case..

Customer service on a Tab4 10plus on a keyboard/case

Hi
I purchased a Tab4 10plus with a bluetooth keyboard case. One of the plastic clips that holds the case to the table broke the second time I used it. I have gone over the Lenovo website carefully and can't figure out how to file a warranty claim. Does anyone have information on how to file a claim? The website seems to be structured to discourage claims.
Thanks
John
Finally got hold of support for the keyboard case. They offered to sell me a replacement at full price. Claimed it was abused and that was the best they could do. I intend to send it back for a refund. This will be the only and the last Lenovo product that I purchase.
I have the keyboard case for 6 months, that plastic clip wouldn't break easily, but I think you could buy a replacement unit for around 10 bucks, why not search on eBay ?

Cracked Screen, Where To Buy Genuine Parts In UK?

Hey Folks, I damaged my Mate 20 pro recently, the front screen (glass only) is cracked and so is the rear cover. Im not sure how much it will cost to fix it including labour but I thought I would try and source the parts first. I don't trust the small phone shops as they might fit an unofficial screen glass So where can I buy genuine parts in the UK, The Huawei site is too expensive to it needs to be from a recommended stockiest. Many thanks
Hi, you are going to have to replace both glass and oled display. They are fused together and not individually swappable.
AliExpress do service packs:
#Aliexpress £76.22 38%OFF | Original 6.39'' Display with frame fingerprint Replacement for Huawei Mate 20 Pro LCD Touch Screen LYA-L29 Digitizer Assembly

Whilst i cannot promise its genuine, they say they are an official seller so if it comes and its a load of crap, you could get aliexpress to refund. They don't get paid until you confirm delivery.
The 'estimated' delivery is usually crap, I get things in 2-3 weeks max usually.
Obviously the discount has a 'risk'.

Ok many thanks for your reply. I will give it some thought. It may make more sense to buy a good used device and sell mines for spares or repair. Something i need to think about, thanks again my friend
