Hello,
Is there a way to backup to Google Pictures ( I have the 100go backup plan), from only one discussion in Whatsapp ?
Thank you

You can do it manually from the gallery app. Select the photos and share to Google photos

[Q] Contacts pictures

Everytime I flash a new ROM I have to start from square 0 with contact pictures. Does anyone knows a method to use the saved contacts (with nice pictures) from previous ROM in the new ROM and keep the contact's nice pictures size previously saved? I tried:
- MyBackup pro
- Titanium Backup
- Save the contacts folder from data/data and paste it to the new ROM
None of the above was working: everytime I had small contact pictures in the Contacts.
Thank you.
My contacts are backed up to google. Therefore when I flash a new rom and log into google all my contacts and pictures are there.
Yes I agree with you. But when you restore contacts from Google into your phone, the contacts pictures are resized to 96x96 even in your phone the picture was full size. This is my problem. How to restore the contacts in the new ROM and keep the contacts pictures at the full size.
Best regards.

[Q] Google+ Auto Backup

Hi, I have few questions about the feature of Google+ Auto Backup:
Since I bought my Nexus 5 all the photos I have made have been uploaded automatically to Google+, but I just have made about 2.000 photos and in my Google+ account it says I have around 10.000 images! First I thought that it uploaded all images stored in my phone (like WhatsApp images) but with all, it doesn't make 4.000 at much.
So my question is if there is any option to delete ALL the photos and images in my Google+ account without delete them in my phone, and how do that, because I want to "reupload" the images with more control of what is uploaded and what not.
I would be grateful if you can help me, and sorry for my bad english

[Q] Does deleting photos from Gallery also delete them from Google Photos?

My auto backup is turned on for Google Photos. Any pictures I take on my phone automatically get uploaded to my Google Photos online. If I go through my Gallery app (not my Photos app) and delete pics, will they also be deleted from my Google Photos online next time I sync?

Click to collapse
Funny how no one has addressed this yet. People are fooled by the numerous videos on Youtube on how to remove the photos. But all those videos show the exact same instructions which only remove the photos from syncing to that device. It does not delete them. Once you buy a new phone, those photos will show up again.
I would like to know where they are coming from..

Can't delete backed up photos from phone -Google Photos-

Hi all, I'm trying to delete my photos on my device which already backed up in Google Photos. When I open the app on my phone and tap free up space it keeps saying no items to remove. I can see all the photos in Google photos but I can't delete the device copy from my phone.
Any suggestions? cheers
I figured out that when you open the app from your phone you need to go to device folders tab and delete all the photos from there, that soved the issue.
Mods please close the thread.
Cheers

Migrated to a new Phone - How to Show Photos in my Google Drive Folder in Photo App?

Hi Everyone,
I recently migrated from a Nexus 6P to a Note 8. Previously, all my camera photos taken on 6P was synced to Google Drive's Google Photos folder. Now that I migrated to the Note 8, the Photos / Gallery app only shows photos taken on the Note 8. If I wanted to view my old photos, I'd have to go into Google Drive app.
Is there a way to sync Google Drive with Photos or Gallery app?
bump...
Either you will have to manually download all photos from Google Drive and then place them in respective folders. Or install a gallery app that allows cloud sync, for eg. QuickPic does that.
bump anyone else?
