is it just me or anyone else - the samsung stock app has stopped updating since last night - keep saying is 13C/57F outside when is 25C/77F and the hourly is stuck at 4am (is 12pm now)
tried manual refresh but no change
What is going on with Samsung lately - forgot to say am in UK unlocked S23U - they havent been updating their apps, still on May security and generally they seem to have forgot s23 and moved on to their next phones now

may be your internet connection problem.

not an internet issue - i tried on various wifi-mobile data - tried reset - is something from their side
maybe is UK only outage

I've searched everywhere and have been working on this problem all night. I unlocked the Bootloader and Rooted the phone about a month ago and uninstalled bloatware. Haven't had any issues with the new Android marketplace updates or when it's updated apps on my phone. However, over the past 3 weeks, my 3G connection kept dropping off in the Marketplace and on different apps. It shows up as full bars but they're grayed out. They only turn blue when I connect via WiFi (At least I won't go over my data plan!) This sucks because I've been missing important e-mails because G-mail and other apps will only sync when I'm connected to wireless network.
I've cleared the Dalvik cache, went through and rolled back the Android Market place to the stock version. I also restored my APN settings but I'm at a complete loss since none of these things worked.
I haven't posted much because I'd prefer to read and search for the problem online but I'm coming up short here. Should I return it back to AT&T or is there something else I'm missing?
*EDIT: I also realized that I'm having issues with the Bluetooth connection, the GPS connection recently since the upgrade. Finally, I have not had the fingerprint scanner working since before I've rooted and unlocked the BL.
Whenever I ask "What is the weather?" or "What is the weather in X city?" I have continually been receiving the response of "No results, sorry." Every other action seems to work fine and I've tried on both wifi and 3g, but weather hasn't been working since last night. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would be occurring? I've tried rebooting and have experienced the same results in multiple locations, even when connected to LTE.

Weather results stopped working last night (July 13) for me as well. All other functions appear to work, but "network error" messages appear about 30% of the time forcing a repeat of the query.

I should have tried this before, but I cleared the data on S-Voice, and weather results appear to be working again.
i thought i fixed mine by doing so too...but i think it may have been coincidental at least for me...last evening it stopped working went thorough reboots/factory restet and clearing data...to no luck.
came back at around 2am but down again all day today. and yup just came back again. no action on my side today.

Samsung has been doing network upgrades in advance of the Olympics, their TV systems were down yesterday, I'd bet it's all related.

it sure sounds like it. specially on timing for these two "outages"
I bought the s6E yesterday and as soon finished the initial setup and samsung apps started updating i started to get the security notification and i've already made like 3 or 4 restarts of the phone and i still get the notification of threat of an unauthorised system change.
And when i restart my phone i get another notification, it appears only when i turn on the phone. It says "The applications of this device consume data and apply a cost for navigation. We suggest you hire a data package. Details with your service operator", the problem is that i already have a data plan of 5gb.
How i can fix this thing?? the phone is perfect, only those 2 annoyance.
My phone is not rooted, i don't know if it's worth to root it and also, i don't want to void the warranty.
All my last android phones were rooted and with custom roms, i don't want to fall to the dark side of rooting and roms again... xD

This might help you get rid of the first message. It seems you have to update some kind of security policy. Hopefully it works for you.

The second message must have something to do with data warnings. Take a look under the data usage option in settings to see if there are notification settings. I think this is based on the data settings for your carrier. At first glance though it looks like some kind of malware because the English is a little off but it is Samsung after all.

Thanks i already saw that post and it didn't worked last time, i just cleaned data of security update policy and the log and restarted, then went to the settings to update the policies and had no updates, dont know if im doing it right or not..
I'm not really in love with the idea of reseting my phone, and in some cases, after reseting the phone, this still happens.

yes, its with auto-update and i just got the notification again a few seconds ago
I received Android 12 update for T-Mobile, Friday morning I believe. I've noticed a few bugs but nothing major. One is when creating folders for app icons and using the plus symbol in the folder trying to add more apps, it glitches and doesn't. Two I'd Bluetooth connection bug occasionally when you try to first sync your device. A restart corrected this, and one issue prior to the update and even after is the Smart Lock On-Body detection notification under settings not going away.

Yup, I got my OTA update this morning, too. I wasn't sure if we'd get it, being all too familiar with LG's updates (or lack thereof). I haven't had any issues yet but won't be surprised if there are a few niggles here or there.
This update had done nothing but brought pain to my phone
Looks like the update for the tmobile variant for this phone was pulled. I used the msm tool to restore my device and now it won't update to 12
Interesting. I updated and have had nothing but issues so maybe it was pulled for more testing. I was planning to do a MSM restore this weekend.
It forced my update to 12 a week or two ago. I haven't had any particular issues, what's been popping up? (I'm still stock t-mobile, just with unlocked bootloader)

Android auto doesn't connect wired. Gps issues. Overall it looks like we went backwards as far as the design is concerned

I've had a number of small issues. Random auto rotation when auto rotate is disabled. Screen flickering at low brightness. Fingerprint issues where it sometimes ignores touch when locked but vibrates while unlocked from a minor brush of the palm. VPN settings and per app network settings seem harder to control. Issues with accessing hidden apps. Issues with the USB notification to switch USB modes either not being available or when it pops up, it covers half the screen from the bottom blocking the keyboard while typing. Also not a fan when fonts and UI change.

I can still set mine to either band but I dislike that it just shows the raw password all the time instead of stars.
Also have issues with some text messages being dated as from 1969 and going above my other messages, even when the sender sent them all together.
