MDA3 Bluetooth Headset / PocketMusic Player - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Accessories

... heya ....
i know there has been some thread about this but i haven't found any answer to my probelm ....
I have a MDA3 with the following ROM Specifications:
ROM: 1.22.00 WWE
ROM Date: 10/22/04
Radio Ver.: 1.06.02
Protovol Ver.: 1337.38
ExtROM: 1.12.126 WWE
I wanna have a bluetooth headset (stereo?) which i can pair with my mda3. I travel often with the train and wanna listen to my music over PocketMusic Player and this headphone.
Is there a chance? Which headset should I buy? I don't want a solution like a bluetooth headset with dongle which I must connect to the headphone plug of my mda3!
Greetings form very snowy austria,
Dominique

I think i've read an article before, which "i-phono" comes with a dongle for units without BT. I really can't remember better check their site.

I'm 99% certain that you cannot listen to music thorugh a BT headset....I have seen it around here many times.
If you can, I welcome being corrected as it is something I would like to do.
HPJ

HPJ: well Its something I used to do with my old' HP 5550, aswell its great to use Skype to communicate using the BT Headsets.
Probably its not yet been implemented in the BT Stack

Are you saying you want a bluetooth headset that is also stereo headphones or are you just looking for blutetooth headphones ?

Not sure about availablility or compatibility but the closest thing I've seen is the Nightingale - BSH 338 from iTouch or iTech or something like that.
It's a set of earbud stereo headphones on wires connecting to a bluetooth clip-on receiver that acts as both headset and headphones.
It also comes with a free USB dongle so you can use it with PCs and laptops.

HP Bluetooth stereo headphones does work with XDA II, I think it may work with MDA3

Imate xdii and Jabra 250v

Jabra BT320s or similar

Just to resurrect this thread from back in the day, has anyone seen THIS??
Im wanting a wireless bluetooth A2DSP thing with the AVRCP buttons on it. Also I want to be able to use my own earphones and this looks the ticket!
Has anyone used this or something similar on the Hermes yet?? And if so does the A2DP fix work?!?!
I've tried a number of headsets on the Hermes, including the 320s.
In terms of connection and stability the HTC is by a far distance the most stable. The 320s did not have a good connection when I tried it.
Unfortunatly all headsets had lots of hissing when used with WM6. I did not try all of them with WM5, but the results seems to be much better.
Some people have good results using reg. hacks or the Widcomm stack. For me that doesn't work.
The AVRCP buttons worked fine on all headsets I've tried (with the media player. Not all players support AVRCP).
All in all the quality of all headsets is much worse than the supplied wired headset. Still the headset makes sense to me, but not for high quality listening.

Gutted!!
Im thinking is there a way i can test A2DP using my PC as the headset?! Il get back to you if i find a solution.
mrvanx: I am currently using my Jabra BT620s (http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/9783.htm) with all AVRCP functions working properly on my Orange SPV M3100 loaded with Black's latest WM6 ROM.
Jabra BT8010 has a great sound and is very flexible...
I would recommend it
BT 320 has software upgrade from Jabra website. Also, it has a very good function - to collect other music player using a wire at the same time collect to your phone using BT. This can perfect solve the music sound quality problem about your PDA.

You mean the BT230 can be connected to a different MP3 player using a cable too? (rather than Bluetooth)
Yes, the model number is BT 325s, check this out. But I cannot find any in HK
Mrvanx
I got a BT320s for my super.fi 5 Pro. The sound is excellent.
Volume adjustment is good
I got the latest FW from the Jabra Singapore site (no way to know what version is on the device and what version is on the upgrade)...
The US site shows it as coming soon???
When getting a call while listening thru A2DP you can take the call but then the phone hangs and need to be reset.
The BT8010 works better from this stand point (not much but at least no need to reset the XDA)
One of the main issue with BT320s is that it switch on by itself easily through a slight push on the central button... and the call management...
This may be due to my WM6 ROM (4/23 from LVSW)...

Michy's BT stack improvement....

I have tested the Jetware bluetooth extension http://www.jetwaremobile.com/index.htm here.
I've installed, (30 days trial version) configured, even removed.
Now I have a good BT A2DP audio, better battery life, many problems solved also WITHOUT the SW installed
Worth a try IMHO ....
sergiopi, are you using smartwatch? if it is positive, does it work?
thanks.
No, I don't. I've tested with some motorola BT hands free, headphones and Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones.
Hello all,
I have no no trouble with the Michy 6.1 ROM and bluetooth so far, streaming to my Moto S9's connecting to other devices etc
I must have missed all the trouble somehow.....I cannot imagine u are running a stock rom.
I am very interested in the Sony Bluetooth watch and I have been looking at getting one, I thought that the this was running properly with the software on this forum.....I might have to have another looksee..
I am running michy 6.1 and have no issues when using moto s9.......I just cant seem to get ringer id over any other Bluetooth....have tried Moto H12, plantronics 925, jabra 8040 and another older moto similar to H12 but can't remember the model. I kept the H12 but no ringer id over bluetooth.
just my 2 cents....

Qtek 9090 working alternative headset

Hi2All!
As subject says,is there (on the market)any solution for Qtek 9090 alternative wired headset,(coz original died)..or stereo bluetooth headset, but in both cases,(beside mp3 listening),microphone must B working..with all call/reply functions..
Cheers!
btw,yes..I do a search, but there is a lot of stuff from few years ago..
hi and welcome to the forum.
in fact, we had a headset and storage card discussion yesterday.
afaik there is no fully working alternative wired handsfree. some nokia headsets also have 2.5mm plugs, but with another connector layout (that's what's to be found in the older threads).
if you don't find a replacement original handsfree you can also use stereo bluetooth handsfrees over the a2dp standard. for that, your rom must support a2dp of course. i use a callstel bh19, which is great. it looks like a normal mono headset (candybar layout, no stupid receivers flapping around or hanging around the neck) and you can plug in a 2nd earphone, which comes with it and provides full bluetooth 2.0 a2dp with edr (much more, than the blueangel is capable of unfortunately). sorry, i can only provide a german link:
http://www.pearl.de/a-HPM3478-8909.shtml
and yes, it actually cost 3.90eur once, but now it's back to 30.
alternatively, i hear good things about jabra handsfrees in a certain price range >70eur are really good.

Nevertheless, just asked google translate for help..all stuff is bright
That'll B a high point,for travelers like me.BT headset are like a charm..I like it.Therefore,I must find appropriate cooked(or baked) WM with integrated a2dp support.I hope,thing will work.
10x4support!

[Q] Problems with Bluetooth Headset Jabra BT3030

Hello,
I'm just curious if anybody experienced smiliar problems I have with my Bluetooth Headset Jabra BT3030.
The Tab just can not find it so it is impossible to pair it.
My HTC Desire though has no problems to find it during a Bluetooth scan, so the pairing works fine here.
Any suggestions on that topic are deeply appreciated...
Ok, so I figured out that Jabra BT3030 uses Bluetooth Protocol 2.0 and Galaxy Tab Protocol 3.0 (which should be backward compatible).
Could this cause the problem?
Similar sort of issue with blueant q2.
The q2 will ony show up as a music device and not as a headset. Wonder if something is disabled...
