Ok, sorry to made everybody wait... now here's what I've had after my sleepless night.
HP iPAQ rw6828 WM6.5.5 Build 23529 AND-2 CLEAN
This ROM is fast and stable. I've tried to include M2D 2.0 in the ROM, the build still works great. Quite 'snappy' for me...
I will always made ROM with large Device Storage. Because this will increase our devices' speed and stability.
After the firstboot you'll have about 56 MB of Storage Memory and and at least 25MB of Device Memory. You'll know it when you try it...
I added almost all item from the original 23529 Build... but due to limited storage I removed some packages.
Removed:
- Microsoft MyPhone Console
- MMS
- Remote Desktop
- VOiP
- Welcome Center
Added:
- Registry tweaks for ClearType mode
- FdcSoft Task Manager - (forgot to remove... very useful for tweaking)
Known bugs...
1. Obex driver - unable to send file from the File Explorer
Solution just install 3rd party file management software. try, Resco Explorer, and you'll be able to send to other devices.
2. ddcam.exe - The image were mirrored.
This is the ddcam, not the main camera. The maincamera works very good.
3. If you open Pictures & Videos (pimg.exe), in the folder "\My Documents\My Pictures" you can see a camera icon. Normally, you can use the icon as a shortcut to the device's camera, but it seems not working here.
Quick upgrading guide.
1. Download the ROM file to your computer, and then extract diskimg.nb0 from the RAR file.
2. Copy diskimg.nb0 to miniSD (not larger than 1GB)
3. MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE HAD ENOUGH BATTERY. If you feel hesitant, just do all the next steps with the battery charger plugged in to your device.
4. Insert the miniSD to you device. And TURN ON YOUR DEVICE.
5. While the device is on, do this step. PRESS AND HOLD BOTH SOFTKEYS (button with (-) symbol, placed above the green/call key and red/end call key), and HIT THE RESET BUTTON with Stylus WHILE STILL HOLDING BOTH SOFTKEYS.
6. The next screen will be white, with HP logo at the center of your screen. The upgrade process has started. Wait about 12 (about 8 minutes for flash upgrade and 4 minutes for Cold Boot).
7. At the 8th minutes your device will be rebooted automatically. Wait again for 4 minutes for Cold Boot.
8. Align Screen, set the time, date, and localization... and finished.
9. Reset your device at least once.

Bluetooth seems to work, the drivers are now running. But I haven't tried it yet. I have no other device to pair with...
Camera also working. But I use HP Photosmart, not Brogent... I'll do some other tests, first... then I'll upload it. Yea yea, I can't wait for it either....

I'm a little confuse of which Microsoft application to add. The iPAQ 6828 storage is not that large... Any input...
We have, Office Mobile 2010 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint WorkSpace), MS Tag, Auto Data Config, the Widgets (money, weather, search widget).... etc.
Please help me to consider of which the one all 6828 friend will use the most....

Bluetooth works. Succesfully paired to a Chinese phone.
Wifi just perfect. In fact, I posted this from my devece's Pocket IE. Connected to the Internet thru Magic's wifi tether.
GPRS etc, tested, OK.
I wanna test the Infra Red first, then change HP OEM icons.

I've tested the bluetooth, it works ok for pairing. But still unable to send files. But I've other way to solve it. Just install 3rd party explorer such as Resco File Explorer, it will renew the OBEX driver. And You will be able to send files thru bluetooth.
Camera done, I'm using HP Photosmart Software. Previously the camera worked fine, but when I tried to capture video, the video was unsupported by the Win Media Player. I have also fixed this problem.
The ddcam capture were mirrored. I don't know how to solve this one...
Other software work flawlessly.
I'm doing my best... please be patient...

Yes, I use MMS from time to time
That's what I did install it from cab..
Rom is working perfect so far, only bug I found is in my rw6815 menu Wireless LAN doesn't work from Settings menu in Comm Manager.
P.S. I think you can remove Microsoft Tag Reader and MSN Money instead of MMS since I don't think as many people used them as MMS function.

my wifi on my rw6815 is working OK, but in order to find new wifi connections you must go to settings -> connections menu instead of using menu from communication manager.

Hello, I as you know also have the TrueNeytral and the charge of battery for usb me works perfectly and in the car also, in the PC it charge me between 210 - 280mA. The only problems are the Russian characters, for the rest it goes very thin. Greetings

To install TRUE follow normal procedure to WM6
That's:
-Downgrade to aku 2.20... If you previously had a WM6 or aku 3.3..
-Activesync 4.5
-Conect prophet via USB in normal status (not necessary to place it in -BOOTMENU)
-Execute upgrade utility (a .bat file)
-Wait no longer than 15'
-Dont touch anything, i recomend turning communications or phone off
-Anything happens in appearence but after pc message in MSDOS, hard reset -must be done.
-Now you are done.
It would be great if a russian speaker could give some info from 4pda.ru forums to change .dll in order to switch language typography in this rom.

This is the stimated time i have been experiencing, anyway is i wrote, and many others did... You should not unplug usb until system tells you to.

I've installed TrueNeytral a couple hours ago. Registry change of Keyboard is not working for me, but Resco Keyboard yes.
If i change registry of IR my Prophet restarts each time switch on . Original values are '15' (not '14' as you say).
Also some original ring tones (setup/personal/phone) are not recognized as valid wma files.

I've been using TrueNeytral WM6 two days. Actually for me is the best WM6
implementation I've flased to my dear prophet. Things I've used:
-USB, Wallet and car charge, all work fine (car charger required software
reset with cable plugged to works).
-WiFi: I've wireless router to internet, with no problems starting/stopping WiFi.
Windows Live, Google Mail, everything OK. Configuration resists software
resets.
-GPRS: OK, corporate mail (Lotus Notes) working perfect.
-Bluetooth: Stereo Sony HBH DS970, handsfree Jabra bt-150, freedom bt
keyboard, parrot ck 3000, GPS Zaapa. Multiple connections (parrot & GPS)
work, tomtom returns after receiving a call (this is the first ROM to do this)
ActiveSync over BT to my desktop working also (TrueConnect over BT!)
-IR: NoviiRemote working with no tweaks. Changing registry as stated at top
of this thread for IR gets my prophet to shutoff completely when hibernate,
so i cannot use file and vcard transfers over IR, but I think this is a OBEX
problem, because IR port is working for NoviiRemote.
-I have no incompatibility at all. WisBar and SPB Backup is supposed to get
into trouble, but not for me.
-Finally, battery drain is correct. I've been monitoring two days, and
consumes 4-5% at night and 30-35% with normal use; checking once an
hour mail with GPRS and 30-40 min. call.
-Cannot map HW buttons 1 and 2.
It seems to be near RTM...

Ah!
Russian Keyb: Install Resco Keyboard and SPB Full Keyboard with dictionary completition. These are apps I use normally.
Contacts: Again Pocket Informant & Pocket Breeze, I don't use standard apps from M$. Pocket Informant traps links to std apps, so 'contacts' is hidden for me.
Dialer: I've installed cabinet from first post, but normally use voice command over bluetooth handsfree to dial.
I'm trying to isolate me from lang/reg issues. The cost is to have to install these apps...
I have come across with a post in a spanish forum where they got rid of russian characters. It has to do with a .dll. i think they succed. I will post the how to ASAP
This one also has the problem of turning itself on constantly with an Exchange account.
One more: cannot control volume of incoming call. It is set to maximum, and volume indicator seems to work but there is no real effect over volume.

Yeah! I've got the same problem... But this problem happened to all Crossbow ROM as i've been trying around many ROMs. Nothing can be solved... i guess.. it's bcoz incompatible sound driver...

This is for spl 1.2 i did not make any changes other than the language and uc compliant i am going on vacation tomorrow and will be back on monday. I am only posting this so if someone else wants to try then they can. there is a little problem with making a new connection but if use my cingular.xml file on start up then it will work fine as it does for me. there is also something wrong with the phone calls but im not looking into it until i get back. so good luck guys

Both of you are my heroes. Thank you. I'm aware however of some errors and speed problem of the original chinese version, and am waiting for the "stabilisation version " atm. I'm currently using mutou version 1 which is fast and no serious bug. Good that you have gained the expertise to do the translation, as we can then do it for all future non-english ROM.
Irus, don't worry about so many ROMS. You've given us more choices, that's all. We thank you for these. Keep up the good work!

Can you put back the standard keyboard and remove the chinese SIPs? If we can fix the setting to turn off auto-rotate and have touchflo setting it will be sweet. Also, for some reasons, my Sprite backup does not work. All these were among the problems in the chinese version.
Okay, I tried out the spl1.2 Translated (into English) version of Mutou's ROM.
First, I checkd through the settings and noted the following:
1. In the power setting, there are three tabs with names called "10 sec", "30 sec" and "1min". I think the correct name for them should be "External Battery", "Internal Battery", and "Backlight brightness" or similar wording.
2. TouchFLO setting is all messed up.
3. Soft key setting are still in Chinese. I think we should either remove this, or have it in English.
4. Auto-rotate setting still does not respond.
5. A4 keyboard should be completely removed and replaced by the standard keyboard
6. We should hide extended-ROM2
7. I can't find camera application, However, I am able to start the camera if I use the picture viewer program. The problem, however, is that all the usual camera settings such as choosing the mode, resolution, etc, are not responding to user actions.
8. When I tried to set up my data service provider's setting, I noticed that it only has ability to set up dialed up modem, so I'm unable to test any 3G data connection.
9. SMS services setting gives a blank screen.
10. Although the start menu has a link to phone, phone application does not exist. I can't start a dialer. However, I am able to go to the contact application and make a call, although I'm then unable to end the call since there is no dialer.
11. The Notes application does not start.
12. Camera application started via the picture viewer does not offer the opportunity to use microdrive as storage, although microdrive is functioning properly.
13. Window Media Player does not produce any sound.
14. After using the device for a while, the device stop producing sound although Sound Setting has checked the bottom two entries.
At this point, I installed my wktask and FtouchSL.
Then, all applications stop working, wherease the file explorer was working before this. Contact applicaion no longer could start. Calender could not start, and shows an error saying "No program memory availalble. Tap Start>Settings>system tab>memory , stop programs that did not automatically stop, and try again". Actually no program is running yet. I then uninstalled both wktask and Ftouchsl. The ROM does not seem to allow it to be successfully removed.
At this point, I could not proceed any further.
Good try though, at least most of the text are in English now. Looking forward to the second attempt.

most of this problem are there because irus have used incompatible muis. So i'm trying to solve all this problems, but it isnt simple

for now, i have fixed smsservice and backlight issue + standard virtual keyboard input.
You can solve this on your ppc with overwriting file in attached zip in /windows folder and import the keyboard.reg registry file.
Then reboot...
I cant fix more for now...

There is'nt a need to pursue this further, because the purpose of the translation is to get something like what is shown in your link. Thank for the effort.
Sergiopi, I recommend that the translated ROM link in your ROM list thread be removed because they are still very half baked.

Hi Gullum, is there anything which doesnt work properly. I would looooove to put this on my prophet but since my buttons have started playing up, hard reset is very difficult so i would like to put a rom which is more steady. I know u have mentioned it is a test version but would like to know if there is something which doesnt work

but was able to connect to the wireless base station manually from the Wireless Lan->Network Cards. even though connected, unable to see this in the comm manager pages. wifi status still shows as "off"
- Opera Mobile => works like a charm
- YouTube => able to launch bu unable to download any videos or search for them..may be that I still not sure of the settings or controls on the Youtube page
- Maps Search => can't seem to locate any maps but GoogleMaps is working fine.. cud be user problem .. hehehe
- Weather => OK
still testing the device.. making calls and sms looks fine but still trying to get us to the slide to answer feature for the phone calls but its ok

Things I've noticed so far:
When I go to the Music Tab media player opens and gives me an error. Solution: Install step 5 from the M2D cab package (i'll attach it). Just disable TouchFlo in settings>today and then install the cab. Reboot and re-enable TouchFlo, works great now!
YouTube still won't play any videos on my device with the error "cannot play video". I don't realy care since I won't be using it.
Also the WIFI button in the comm manager is not working, it's trying but fails. It does work when you go to the network card settings. No solution yet: I have tried to install this cab and modified these registry entries. Both didn't work.
The map tab (lol?) does not work. Well it works but when I do a search it won't open up google maps. Solution: After installing cab file no.13 from the package it does work! (I will attach it too)
When I set an alarm, the home screen still displays 'Alarm off'. -> NVM, only alarms in the upcoming 24-hours are displayed.
The rest of the rom is working smooth and fast!

When I go to the Music Tab media player opens and gives me an error. Solution: Install step 5 from the M2D cab package (i'll attach it). Just disable TouchFlo in settings>today and then install the cab. Reboot and re-enable TouchFlo, works great now!
YouTube still won't play any videos on my device with the error "cannot play video". I don't realy care since I won't be using it.
Also the WIFI button in the comm manager is not working, it's trying but fails. It does work when you go to the network card settings. No solution yet: I have tried to install this cab and modified these registry entries. Both didn't work.
The map tab (lol?) does not work. Well it works but when I do a search it won't open up google maps. Solution: After installing cab file no.13 from the package it does work! (I will attach it too)
When I set an alarm, the home screen still displays 'Alarm off'.
The rest of the rom is working smooth and fast!

first of all, thanks for this beautiful rom.
and now , i shall list bugs/problems i found/faced;
-this rom cant recognize my mobile operator, it finds it and after a second, it loses connection.
-to the first problem, i decided to turn phone radio off but commanager didnt let me do that, it doesnt turn off.
-wifi works and turns on but commanager doesnt notice it.,
-media player bug ,thou may be fixed with the cab given above
ok these were the bad points of the rom ;
but wanna ask smt, how the hell this google map knows my location :S prophet got no gps as far as i know . may it be from weather info? i'll try it now...

HTC Album shows _my pictures. --> this is old HTC Album registry, right?
If touchflo2D more simple. We can make it faster. I mean no Google Maps, No Youtube.
We can add it later anyway. It will save space and speed.

Will this ROM be stable enough for daily use?...I tried the Test 2 and still a little buggy which is fine considering it is still very beta. But had to flash 2 hrs after to a different ROM due to screen kept freezing whenever a voicemail was coming through also MSN widgets were also still a little buggy. Either way I will flash to check it out but I hope to find a stable 6.5 that I can use daily.

It has been for me. Very stable, working great. Getting ready to upload I hope tonight in about an hour. Adding a couple things and will flash mine and upload. So far everything has been perfect. Be glad to hear your feedback if you flash mine. Thanks

Release Sunday Morning
Ok everyone, this ROM will finally be uploaded for download on Sunday morning by noon it looks like. Took the extra time to work out a couple issues with the updated keyboard and last minute updates on this first release.
Thanks for update I have been refreshing for a couple hours, look forward to trying it tomorrow, was hoping to have something to play with tonight, but all good things come to those who wait.

Running awesome for me as well. Only issues.....Msn weather issue, can pick my city but wont go past that screen and bottom menu bar is all white.
Also if you have any text messages or email and reboot is says you have no new messages. Other then that this Rom is fast stable and impressive....great work.

I have also noticed the MSN weather issue. Two things you can do, soft reset, or close out of MSN weather using task manager, then re-open and works fine. Will check into the text issue, I dont recall having that problem yet. Have you read or listened to the voice mail, before you reboot? If so, I can see why it would say "no new messages" Let me know

No problem with missed call or voicemail notification, Just text and email say no new messages if you reboot you could have 10 or 15 new emails before you reset and after it says no new messages. No big woop..... Still a fantastic ROM. Thanks

Report of flahing this rom.
flashed trough SD card.
Did a hard reset after flash.
First boot:
Setup seems to take a long time,
Customizing started.
Second boot:
Settings for "vodafone".
Third boot:
Disabled default WM 6.5 interface (sorry, i really don't like it).
Changed the keyboard layout to `Touch Pro'
Installed SPB Mobile Shell 2.1. Working fine
Restarted device.
Installed Opera Mobile. Working fine
Installed Opera mini. (could you replace Java with a version wich you don"t alway have to allow a connection for ervery page you visit?)
Restored contacts with PIM backup.
Restarted device.
Installed "diamond Tweak 0.53"
Made some adjustmends like disable threaded sms and enlarged the ammount of memory for gdi and file cache.
Set up my email account.
Installed Slide 2 Unlock 2 1.52. Working fine
Installed "PDAVIET's HTC audiomanager VGA". Working fine
Tested HTC E100 remote. Working. Even in standby mode.
Tested bluetooth headset. Working.
Installed SPB Watcher.
Increased the sensitivity of the screen.
Restarted device.
Installed File explorer extension.
And finally tested IGO08. Also working fine.
Everything works, but i must say that it does feel kinda slow sometime.
You've done a amazing job. If you could find a way to increase the speed of this rom, it would be amazing.

Hi everyone!
Glad people are liking it so far. Have noticed a lot of downloads so fingers crossed some responses soon.
TF3D is basic of basic. I didn't include the HTC Home, I don't use it now the WM6.5 interface is improved. I also found that it killed battery life. I did include the HTC dialler, volume controls, task manager and gestures. The camera is also included.
Yes it does mean your 6.1 Serra can be on to 6.5 now. I have run it on my Serra for one week now. Battery is fantastic, up to 3 days with normal use. No issues found so far!
Looking forward to hearing back from you all. I'll make any mods people request.

Try going to Settings - Input and changing to full Qwerty. That's the HTC Touch Pro keyboard. Much better finger wise. SMS issue also gone which means the auto input using the HTC one works.
I'll get some screen shots tomorrow including using TaskFacade. Post tomorrow evening.

I have a out of the box XDA Serra, QuickGPS does not work.. keeps saying "Connection Failed". Will this ROM fix this?
Also do you need to a HardSPL reset first? When I try doing a HardSPL reset it says it cannot connect to my PDA. Im using Activsync and the phone is Syned up.

I have the same problems but winth EnergyROM v3. I think all these ROM are the same..
camera
i dont know if its just me but when i open up camera i get a black screen but then when i take it, it shows the picture.
kinda annoying when i cant preview my photos... any help?
