[Q] apps on sd card - Legend Themes and Apps

Can u help me pls. How can I install applications on my sd card? I've tried to install some game, but htc sync was always installing it on my phone memory and there is no place for it.

You need either Android 2.2 (cyanogen mod 6) or any other custom-ROM with Apps2SD-support. You will then have the ability to move your apps from internal rom to sd.

[Q] how to install applications on SD card

Hi all,
I just brought the LG Optimus One P500 this afternoon and thanks for great info in XD. I managed to rooted the device so smotthly
Question:
after rooting, now how can install/move my applications to my SD card instead of the internal memory.
Previosuly on Samsumg spica there is a tool call App2SD, any similiar tools for LG Optimus One P500
Thanks
Do you want to install directly to the sd card or just to move them after being installed on the internal memory?
You can move apps around using Settings->Applications since FroYo can do that for you but not all apps can be moved just yet. Other apps can move them forcefully (I use Titanium Backup to do that).
If you want to install to the sd card directly, look for an app called apps2sd. I found it on the market a few months ago and it opened like the Settings menu. It will just ask you where you want apps to go to when you install them. It was really simple. Widgets wont work from the sd card though. Move them to the internal memory and reboot after if you have them on the sd card already.
and make sure you have a fast card if you want to install directly to the sd card.

[Q] SD partitioning for Android

Hi there,
I've been looking for a way to partition my SD card so that I can use app2sd and move all the apps to the SD, even those which don't support SD card. That said, I have a Galaxy Mini, Gingerbread 2.3.4, rooted. Is there a way to do it without flashing a custom rom on the device?
Thanks for any help
You could use Rom Manager: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager&hl=en.

Please help me

Hi to all,
I am developing a custom rom for Micromax A90s from MIUI V5 (3.10.18). I am using android kitchen for building the rom. Now I can flash the rom and there are some bugs inside it.
01. The external SD card is not mounted after the phone storage is ejected from computer. Only internal SD card is showing up in files and folder. In settings --> storage the external SD card is showing as unmounted. Pressing the Mount SD card has no results. Only I need to restart the phone to make external SD card working.
02. I cannot add apk by simply copying them to system/app folder in kitchen. The applications are force closing. What I can do for this?
03. How I can modify the default theme in MIUI V5 launcher with my favorite in custom rom.
04. How I can include Google Play in my rom without any problem?
Thanks in advance

[Q] [Question] Moving apps to SD Card

I just recently rooted my L9 (finally been wanting to do it since I got it) and the main reason I did this was so that I could move system apps to the SD card to I could download large games. Is there a way to directly download from Play Store to SD card or do I have to go through the SD card? Also what apps would be good for this? I'm currently using this file manager https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rhmsoft.fm. Can I do it with this app or is there another I have to get?
Try using Link2SD, I remember that there is an option to install apps on sd automatically, and you can delete, move or freeze apps
